11 Chapter 10
(Yin pov)
It has been about four to five years since my birthday and everything seems to be going well. I've been helping out the village, I even became friends with both the Uchiha and the Hyuga. I was even able to see Itachi as a baby and was able to visit him and Shisui, to play with them or to help them train. The Hyuga allowed me to visit to help train some of their clan members. It took a while, but I was able to gain their trust. Though, something tells me that they are planning something. Not bad, but something neither clan would do.

3 Years after Itachi was born
(3rd pov)
Unknown to Yin, she was right.
Deep underground in an undisclosed location, both the Hyuga and the Uchiha clan leaders were meeting about Yin.
"Hello, Hiashi," Fugaku, clan leader of the Uchiha, greeted the clan leader of the Hyuga.
"Why did you want to have this meeting, Fugaku," Hiashi asked suspiciously while narrowing his eyes.
"I have asked of this secret meeting, to talk about Yin," Fugaku asked, making Hiashi look angrier (if that's even possible).
"What do you plan to do to Yin," Hiashi asked protectively over Yin.
"I'm not planning anything bad to happen to her. Quite the opposite, I plan on giving her something," Fugaku told Hiashi who looks skeptical.
"Then why did you bring me here," Hiashi asked annoyed from thinking he was brought here for no reason.
"You see, what I want to give her.

Is a Sharingan eye," Fugaku told Hiashi, who looks at him in disbelief.
"WHAT?!" Hiashi yelled in disbelief. "You, of all people, want to give Yin something like that. I doubt that she'll even want that and-" he interrupted himself when he realized what Fugaku said.
"Wait, did you say 'a Sharingan eye'," Hiashi asked confused.
"Yes," Fugaku said plainly, not affected by what Hiashi asked.
"Why will you only give her one eye Fugaku?" Hiashi said confused. "Even, I know you can't do much with only one Sharingan. So, let me ask again, why am I here?" Hiashi interrogated Fugaku.
"I brought you here, to discuss you giving one Byakugan eye to Yin," Fugaku said plainly like he didn't even drop a bombshell.
Hiashi looks at Fugaku in disbelief and skepticism, thinking that Fugaku is either trying to take a Byakugan, or he is planning on giving Yin both of them. Hiashi then thought about how much Yin has done for everyone in the Leaf, and all the times she helped the Hyuga.
After a few moments of silence, Hiashi breaks it. "Ok, I'll give you a Byakugan eye. ONLY for Yin though, but do not expect the rest of the Hyuga to be on board with this," Hiashi warned Fugaku, who suddenly bows to Hiashi, to the latter's surprise.
"Thank you for this great gift for Yin, Hiashi. You have my gratitude," Fugaku said, again surprising Hiashi.
"Do not mention it," Hiashi said while walking out of the meeting place.

(Yin pov)
Today is October 9th but it is almost midnight, so really it is October 10th.
I was helping around the village again while thinking about how Kushina is giving birth to Naruto soon.
Then suddenly there was a giant cloud of smoke, indicating a summoning Jutsu, near the center of the village. I couldn't see what the summon was because of the cloud of smoke, but I didn't need to see when it let out a roar and it swept the smoke away; revealing the Nine-tails, or Kurama.
He then starts destroying the village, and although I want to try and stop him, I have to help the village first. So with that, I went to go get the civilians into the bunkers as safely and quickly as possible, while also using my shadows to try and block the debris from falling on them.

After a while of it destroying the village, it suddenly turned towards the Great Stone Faces and launches a tailed beast bomb there. When it looked like it was about to connect, a giant selling formula came up and blocked it. I knew only one person who could do something that impressive, Minato, the Fourth Hokage.
After I saw that, I knew that Minato was going to fight Tobi/Obito/Madara, so after I made sure that the civilians near me were safe in the bunker, I activated my shadow cloak and dashed my way over to him as quickly as possible.
When I get to where I sensed Minato's chakra, I see him already defeated Obito. So I try to catch up to him, but he then used the Flying Raijin, and he was gone. Probably to go stop Kurama.
I was about to go over there when I had to dodge a kunai coming from behind me. I turned around, but Obito was already in front of me with a kunai in hand. He then slashed at my eyes, and he was too close to dodge.
'YIN!!' My partner yelled in concern for me, though I was barely able to hear them.
I screamed in agony and closed my eyes from feeling them get cut. I fell to the floor in pain while screaming. Whenever I tried to open my eyes, a searing pain would engulf them, and I would just close them again, though it didn't do much to help with the pain.
I then heard Obito speak. "Sorry, but you're a dangerous one to keep alive, so I think I'll kill you now," he said in a deep voice, that normally people wouldn't be able to tell it was Obito unless you've been around him for a long time.
I could hear his footsteps coming closer, so I just waited until he was close enough. When he was about three feet from me, I used my shadows to create a dome with spikes around me, intent on trying to keep him away. Surprisingly, I heard him grunt in pain, meaning that I got him with that.
I was keeping an eye on Minato, Kushina, and the newly born Naruto's chakra signature. I could feel that Minato and Kushina's chakra was dimming, meaning that Kurama just stabbed them both, basically killing them. It was at that moment, that I felt like I failed them both.
I then used my shadows and take me into it and to bring me out of their shadows. It took a lot of chakra to do, but I was able to do it, especially since it felt like Obito left.
When I got there, I heard gasps.
"YIN!!" I heard both Minato and Kushina yell out in concern when they saw my eyes.
I didn't try to calm them down, instead, I went over to where I felt Naruto's chakra. I picked up the very small guy and brought him over to his parents to be held before they both die.
"Thank you, Yin," I heard Kushina say before I laid down.
"Your welcome," I told her and Minato.
"Hey, I think I'm going to pass out soon, so better finish the speech you were doing," I told them, and I could feel that they were looking at me in concern when they are the ones about to die.
Kushina and Minato then started to finish their speech, when suddenly Kushina said, "Yin," getting my attention. I turned my head in her direction.
"Will you look after Naruto after you get your eyes fixed, please? I know I can trust you to watch him," Kushina said, surprising me.
"Why me of all people?" I asked confused about why she asked me.
"It's because I know you will care for him and take care of him when we're gone," Kushina said.
"That, and you can teach Naruto to be friends with the Nine-tails, instead of being afraid of him," Minato said trying to convince me.
I already know what my answer will be though.
"I promise to watch Naruto, though he might think of me as a mother or something," I said seriously at the beginning, but joking at the end.
"Thank you, Yin," they both said before Kushina gave her last breathe.
"You have one hell of a wife there Minato," I jokingly said to Minato who laughs.
"Thanks, I know. Again, thank you, Yin," Minato said before he handed me Naruto and used the Reaper Death Seal to seal half of Kurama's chakra into Naruto.
I just looked in the direction where I heard both Kushina's and Minato's bodies fell, silently mourning their death.
I don't know how long I was standing there when I heard footsteps coming over. I could tell that some of them were friends I knew, from the chakra I felt from them.
When they came upon me, I could tell that they were shocked to see my eyes like this.
"Yin, what happened here," Hiruzen asked curious about what happened.
I then told them what happened from all that I know.
We all then silently left, with me and the baby Naruto being taken to the hospital.
