The death
Suddenly,
Zaya came running into the room with Zairo. They have fried chicken oil all over their faces.
" dad dad dad I have a new friend, he gave me chicken, his name is Zairo" she sounded really happy about the chicken and her new friend. " Zai say hello this is Master Shinok" Kiara tells Zairo " Good day sir my name is Zairo" he says grinning from ear to ear. "yes young man it's very nice to meet you and I can see you already met my daughter Zaya.... Kiara meet my daughter Zaya" he signals Zaya to come forward "good day Mam I'm Zaya Zairo's friend" somehow she really sounded happy about being Zairo's friend. "you're one pretty little flower, so how did you get Zairo to share his chicken with you he never gives anybody his chicken" she pats Zaya on the head "maybe it's because I'm very pretty. To be honest I could get anything from anyone I know I'm really cute" Kiara and Shinok can't help but laugh at what she was saying on the other hand Zairo's face was flushed with color. They both just looked too cute together which made the adults laugh even more.
"Master I would love to stay with you forever, I want to learn how to fight, how to use a sword, how to throw flying kicks, I want to do everything they do in the temple" he said this in a way that you could actually feel his passion. Before Shinok was able to give him an answer, Zaya says "if you really want to learn, you will have to start with me, I will be your first teacher, you will have to call me Mater". Zairo looked more than happy to have her as his first martial art teacher, so he bowed his head in a polite manner and shouts at the top of his voice "Master teach me". The adults in the room could not just stop laughing they were both incredibly funny and cute. "Now my pupil follow me" Zaya leads the way, while Zairo as a good pupil obediently follows as they walk into the next empty room.
"He reminds me so much of virgo , he even has his eyes". Shinok says as Taero brings in tea for them ." Zaya also looks a lot like Rin, am sorry for your loss" kiara says. "We've both had our own share of losses in life, now we just have to focus on the kids. They are all we have left."...
"His abilities are getting stronger, last time i was looking for something and tried moving the shelf to check for it when Zai came up to me and moved the shelf to one side like it was nothing. Another time it felt like his hands were producing lightning in his sleep, his wounds also heals up faster now, even the red hair on his head is increasing. I really think he needs someone of his kind who can train him on how to use his power, show him what is right from wrong ,guide him .... he needs you". He looks at Kiara for a while and says" I'll be honored to train the son of Virgo. And besides he and Zaya also seem to get along well. The truth is Zaya could use a friend, I sometimes feel bad for her.... She has had to live a tough life without a mother, she has been surrounded by monks and martial artists all her life. So having you and Zairo here is definitely good for all.
Outside in the training field, the gate to the temple suddenly bursts open... There was dust everywhere, the trainers couldn't see clearly. They gathered in front of the gates with their spears in hand ready to fight back who ever was barging into their temple. It was just midday but the clouds had suddenly turned dark, almost as if the sun had set. In the midst of the the dust they could see someone making his way towards them. At first it felt like the shadow of just one man, but then it was like the shadow had started multiplying, for they could see them clearly now because the dust was finally clearing up.
Taero who already understood what was happening, headed for where his master was " Master... Master... Master" he called out with much fear in his voice, "he is here.... Arguse is here" shinok didn't look too shocked, it was like he had been expecting this for a long time. Kiara on the other hand was shaking in fear, the name of this demon alone was enough to make her whole world disappear. She remembered how she escaped from him once. It was the same day she lost the love of her life. He died trying to protect her and their child. She could still remember the way she felt that day, the horror and fear she felt, hearing his name again makes her feel everything all over again. "He found us, he found us,.. Arguse found us" she said in a shaky voice, then suddenly like she was struck with a remembrance spell she says "Zai..., he's here for Zairo, he's...he's...he's here for my son, he wants to kill him, he wants to kill Zairo". Thankfully enough the children hadn't gone outside to practice, they were in the other room. Shinok instructs Taero to get the children and Kiara to safety "but master I cannot leave you here and go. I have to stay and protect you". Taero says with bitterness in his heart, for he truly did not want to leave his Master behind. "saving the children will be the same thing as saving me, they are still very young and have a long way ahead of them,so take them and Kiara and go through the back way". Taero had no other choice but to listen to his master because he knew that he was right. So he went to the room where the children were, while Shinok headed for where the chaos was happening.
The intruders were about just 20 men, when Shinok came out he signaled his students to stand down. He stood in front of them and said" Are you going to hide behind your men like a coward, or come forward and face me" his words were precisely spoken and they had no hint of fear in them. Then from behind the intruders, he answered "Long time no see my old friend" as his men parted for him and he made his way to where Shinok stood. He was not in his demon form, he was the average middle-aged man. The black veins on his face were not there also, which was evidence that he had devoured more souls. You could only see the veins from his neck, but not on his face. His face was rather spotless. If he wasn't pure evil, one would say he was even good looking. "old friend, you look... Well, old". He said to Shinok in a mocking way. "At least I don't consume the souls of innocent demons and people to sustain my self." Shinok says with pure disgust in his eyes.
"oh Shinok, I would love to chat with you but as I suppose you know, I am not hear for you.... there is a sudden change in his voice.....Virgo's child, give him to me" his eyes are now burning red
"I will never let you have him. You will have to go through me first" Shinok says as he uses his hands to signal his men to stand on guard once again. "As you wish.... Arguse walks backwards and signals his men to attack... As soon as they were given the order, they all started transforming into hideous creatures, some of them became demons with four eyes, some had tongues that was three feet long, some were shaped like huge spikey balls, some looked like animals. And as they transformed they attacked Shinok and his men. Some of Shinok's men were demons too, so they also transformed and fought back to protect their temple and master.
At this time, Arguse's right-hand man Shinryung had already taken some of the men towards the back of the temple. So as Taero was running away with Kiara and the children, it was only a matter of time before Shinryung caught up with them. The whole time they were trying to escape, Zaya kept on asking for her father, but got no reply. As Shinryung was closing in on them, Taero tells Kiara to keep on running with the kids and stayed back to hold them off. Kiara took the kids and continued running. Being on the run with two children was no easy thing to do,but they ran as fast as their little legs could carry them, even though they knew not why they were on the run.
Shinryung and Taero were having a serious face off, as he fought with shinryung, he was trying his possible best to keep the rest of shinryung's men there too. He could no longer fight them in his human form, so he transformed into a demon. Now in his demon form, he tears down two of the men leaving just two more and shinryung himself. He fought as much as he could but......
"Ahhhhhhhhh" Kiara heard the agonizing cry of Taero and she knew it, he had been defeated. She was gripped with fear but she kept on running with the children. They were about to make a turn when....
Standing right in front of them was Shinryung, he had found them.
They disciples of Shinok had all been defeated, even Shinok himself laid at the feet of Arguse lifeless. Then shinryung came into the temple, dragging Kiara by the hair and the kids were in the hands of the demons. Arguse had this wicked grin on his face, it was that of an evil Victor. Zaya who sees her father on the ground at the feet of Arguse breaks free from the demon holding her and runs towards Arguse with a sword she picked up and tries to strike him but instead Arguse holds onto the sword and throws it to the floor with one hand and with a force way too much for a child strikes her with the other hand. The impact of the hit made Zaya fly into the air and landed on the floor with her head.......
This sight was so horrifying to Zairo. His new found friend was now lying on the floor lifeless. He was filled with fear..... Kiara who was also frozen in fear for she could not believe her eyes. Everyone was dead, everyone....who was going to save her son now......and that was when she remembered the gift Virgo had given her once that if she was ever in danger and needed a means to escape she should use it.. She remembered now....she always had it on....the necklace... Yes the necklace!!! She said to her self as she gathered all the strength she could find within her and pushed herself from shinryung as she took off the necklace and ran towards Zairo.... Zairo also released himself from the hands of his captor as he saw his mother run towards him....
Arguse just watched on because at that point he wasn't expecting anything to happen, he knew he had already won..... when suddenly he felt it, he knew that feeling too well. It was like he could feel the presence of Virgo around and that was when he saw it in her hands...the necklace.....he was going to try and stop her but he was too late, she had already pressed the button on the necklace... A portal appeared behind Zairo and Kiara smiled and pushes him inside and destroys the necklace.
"Nooooo" Arguse screams as he walks up to Kiara with a sword and slashes her throat. "Nooooo!!!..Mom" Zairo screams as the portal closes....
"NOOOOO!!!....
He had lost Virgo's child once again.
