Who's the Strongest II

After sensing the presence of his enemies, who were not particularly formidable, Toji allowed them to approach him. The speed of his 40 attackers was not impressive, and they were armed with katanas, knives, or even bare fists.

Once they got close to him, Toji, with his great speed, vanished from the center of the place where his attackers had cornered him.

Momentarily disoriented, his attackers started looking in all directions in search of their target but could only hear powerful footsteps in the trees, as if he were moving through them at incredible speed.

While the others continued to search for Toji, the footsteps could be heard from all directions, growing faster and faster. Toji, who was moving among them with a wild smile, put his Inverted Celestial Spear into his Cursed Inventory and instead drew a Dao sword. A Dao, or DaoDao, is a Chinese saber with a long, curved, and sharp blade designed for cutting. It has a simple guard, a comfortable, long hilt, and a balance that favors powerful strikes, perfect for cutting people in half or severing limbs in a brutal fashion.

As Toji continued to increase his speed, he decided to deliver a final, thunderous stomp that made his 40 attackers look in the direction of the disturbance, lowering their guards and focusing their attention on where the noise had come from. A grave mistake that Toji would take advantage of.

"0.50 seconds," Toji murmured softly with a wild smile before moving at great speed silently among the trees with his Dao sword in hand, nearly imperceptible. He reappeared behind his enemies with a wild grin and superhuman strength and speed, cutting through them faster with each strike.

The enemies slowly turned as they heard the sound of multiple slashes cutting through the air while blood spattered around them, what had been Toji's fastest multiple attack made by himself was a deadly and bewildering blur to his enemies, ending with a brutal sword strike.

After 1 second, Toji stood amidst 40 dismembered and bisected corpses, taking a deep breath as he wiped the blood from his sword, triumphantly smiling at the inhuman feat he had accomplished. However, as he caught his breath, he sensed three approaching presences.

Turning from the palace first entrance, his left hand on his hip and his right hand holding his Dao sword, Toji noticed that his enemies appeared confident and rather relaxed, even somewhat arrogant.

With a small, sidelong smile, Toji allowed them to walk to the entrance.

There was a young man with long black hair, half of his face covered by a black bandage, wearing a long coat with a short sword tied to his waist.

A woman held two short fans and wore Chinese attire that bared her shoulders and long legs. She had long brown hair and a delicate, soft face with expressive eyes that seemed to undress Toji with their gaze.

The third and final member wore a fishing hat, long hair, and sleepy, lazy-looking eyes with dark circles. His blood-red, pupil-less eyes glowed on their own, and his hands were tucked in his coat pockets, displaying a lazy posture.

Toji observed his enemies calmly, analyzing them while maintaining a firm grip on his sword.

The three individuals looked at the area where Toji stood, with bodies strewn around, while he returned their gaze.

"So, why are you guys here?" Toji said in his typical calm voice.

The three figures didn't respond but continued to smile smugly at him, But then,It was the girl who spoke up.

"You're cute, but it's a shame we have to kill you," she said, licking her lips and putting her fan in her mouth in a seductive manner, though her tone was arrogant.

With a savage grin, Toji replied.

"Well then, what are we waiting for? Let's get started." Now wearing a completely wild expression, Toji shot off from his spot and attempted the same trick of moving through the trees, as he personally loved speed, and this was his style.

The three individuals didn't appear unconcerned. The guy with the fishing hat and the fan-wielding girl positioned themselves on either side of the bandaged man, who placed his hands in a prayer position and muttered some words.

"Sensory Expansion," he said in a soft voice, and all visible action in his body, at least externally, came to a standstill, including his breathing.

As Toji moved wildly, he stepped on a tree before jumping. At great speed, he felt as if he were being observed...., as if a great eye were watching him, or at least that's how it felt. It seemed like every one of his steps and his breath were being detected.

Stopping on one of the trees, Toji took a moment to reflect on what was happening, but in less than 5 seconds, a stone came at him at a rather high speed. Just as it was 30 centimeters from his face, it expanded into a large boulder that appeared to be about to crash into him.

Opening his eyes wide, Toji disappeared from his spot and leaped to another tree in less than a second, which was how long it took him to react to such a massive attack. However, he couldn't help but think that he could have died from that unexpected assault. Nonetheless, as soon as he landed on the other tree, another small stone approached at high speed and expanded just near him.

Jumping from his tree and turning his gaze to where the attacks were coming from, he noticed his enemies were smiling confidently.

The one hurling the stones was the guy with the fishing hat, using a dark blue slingshot with dragon designs on the handle. The guy with the bandage was guiding him, and they had centipedes coiled around their ears, which seemed like communication devices.

Just as Toji was observing them, the bandaged guy spoke again.

"30%, prediction," he said, as a fine trickle of blood fell from his right and left ears.

Upon noticing this, a smile appeared on Toji's face as he still held his Dao sword in his hand.

"So, there's a consequence." Toji had already imagined that with this sort of dominance, he would be facing people who had a cursed ritual or something similar. Or perhaps, to his misfortune, the universe of Chainsaw Man had been modified in some way due to his reincarnation in this world.

Toji didn't hesitate to avoid these covert attacks from his enemies, deciding to keep moving even though it might be draining his stamina.

Moving through the forest, he endured multiple attacks of the same type, but they weren't 100% accurate. At this moment, he had an advantage over the enemy attacks, which were one or two seconds behind. However, Toji noticed several more things, like the fact that the bandaged guy was bleeding more as he seemed to put in more effort to detect him.

**Spit**

**Cough**

The moment he heard the sound of someone coughing, he noticed the bandaged guy violently spewing a mouthful of blood, causing his comrades to look at him.

Right at that moment, Toji took advantage of the situation and started moving even faster, heading for the second entrance that led to the temple located just behind his enemies. Without hesitation, he launched his attack, propelling himself and shooting off like a bullet and drawing his Inverted Celestial Halberd.

But just as he was about to stab the bandaged guy in the eyes, he heard the same guy speak.

"Now," is what he said, forming an arrogant smile.

Right after that, the fan-wielding girl turned abruptly in his direction and at a speed that only allowed Toji to widen his eyes in surprise before she smiled at him with a savage grin.

Moving her open fan in an arcing motion as if creating a large wave, a sudden and powerful airwave sent Toji, who was a few meters away from them, flying back to the palace with a loud crash that created a cloud of dust.

The three assassins rose from their positions and gazed at the spot where Toji had been sent flying.

"Do you think he's dead?" the girl said after a moment of surveying the area.

With a sigh, the bandaged guy spoke.

"No, in fact, he's still alive." After those words, he placed his hands in a prayer position once again, focusing on sensing Toji's presence.

However, he was surprised not to be able to sense it. He tried to concentrate harder, but no matter how much effort he put in, he couldn't feel it.

Panic began to take hold of him as he started to stutter.

"I-i-impossible, I c-can't sense him," he stammered, with sweat starting to appear on his body.

The others turned to look at him with surprise on their faces.

"Really?" his two comrades said, both of them surprised and on high alert. They knew that there was no one capable of eluding their companion's abilities, and if someone did, they had to be incredibly strong or at least know a way to escape his senses.

"W-what is this again?" the bandaged guy said, once more feeling Toji's presence all around as if he were everywhere at the same time.

"He's everywhere," the guy said, his panic increasing. This man seemed to be toying with his senses at will.

A playful laugh echoed through the forest as the sound of heavy footsteps and movement grew present.

"This is boring. Are you guys really here to kill me?" Toji's calm and resonant voice spoke, heard from all around with a hint of mockery.

"I'll show you how to be an assassin," he said, and suddenly, his footsteps and movements that had resonated throughout the forest ceased, plunging the forest into a profound silence.

The bandaged guy began to tremble as Toji's presence, which had seemed to be everywhere, suddenly disappeared as if it had never existed.

Right before his eyes, Toji appeared, grinning wildly as he plunged a knife into his companion with the fishing hat's neck. The fishing hat guy did nothing but stare in surprise and spit out a mouthful of blood.
