Chap 15

Drake woke up inside his suitcase with the alarm set for before the first sunny rays. He checked if everybody was asleep, grabbed the time-turner and gave 1 turn. He started to travel back in time until the point where he finished talking with Katie and has entered the room. He waited for or less more 5 minutes outside and went in. His future self was already inside the suitcase. He went to his room grabbed his hat and summoned one of the books about alchemy. He started to read about how to make an invisible ink that only if the reader had a potion and a chant could read it. After reading it, he summoned the old book that he found near the Beaker and started to read it since his former self was studying the beaker... It seems it was a diary with several entrances with different names. He could see the difference between the old ones and new ones.

"I discovered a beaker of a past teacher named Bartholomew, together with the Charm teacher Fortimbas, they started to study the cursed vaults. I asked my teacher of ancient runes to give me a book about them to study and understand it better."

The second entry, unknown date

"Finally, after so long, I manage to decipher the beaker and probably found the location of one of the first cursed vault, according to the professor deductions there are five vaults and the one I found…."

Tenth entry

I finally found it, it's the portrait vault and I talked with some friends from school and we are going to explore it. I decided to let the beaker and this notebook together….if something happens to me this would be my last entry…if whoever finds this…I hope you can rescue me or at least find my corpse.

Note: Don't let anyone know that you are searching for the vaults…there is an unknown group with evil intentions and its taboo subject for the school staff…you could be expelled….

Before he could read the second set of entries, he noticed the time and it was almost time for the past him to use the time-tuner. He checked if everyone was asleep and entered, he still saw his past self disappearing in front of him. He went inside and played with his beasts, by now they were already used to see their owner disappearing and appeared in another place. Drake transformed all four of them and went out of his suitcase, everyone was still sleeping, he went through the exit that leads to the black forest and Hagrid hut. He saw him already preparing for the forest.

"You are up earlier youn', Drake" greeted Hagrid first.

"Good morning uncle Hagrid. Yeah, I have come to let these four into the black forest, they can hunt, play and find rare ingredients for me too, so I decided to let them out in the morning and come at dawn to retrieve them. Of course, if they don't behave…they will be punished in a very severe away. These four cuties have been warned but if you could keep an eye on them would be even better."

"But of course, fluffy will also like it and I'm the best for that job."

"Thanks, uncle! I will be going now, see you later!" said Drake as he left in a hurry.

"No problem!" shouted Hagrid to Drake which he waved at him.

The first class of the day would be transfiguration class by Professor McGonagall, Drake didn't want to get tale to it because she was still probably very pissed with him. Drake went to the dorms first and to wash, changed and then eat something. After that, he went the calls 1B on the first floor. When he arrived there, most of the Ravenclaws students were there already. He greeted Cho and talked with her a little before the start of the class.

"Hey, Cho! How are you doing?"

"Fine and you? Are you better today?" asked Cho to Drake.

"Of course, I was always good…so, are you ready for today? I hear that this would be a very intensive class."

"Yeah, I already read some books about it in our tower."

While they were talking Katie arrived and went to meet them.

"Hey, guys! How are you doing?"

"Fine and you?" replied Drake and Cho.

"Well, me too…one more day of classes hehehe!"

They kept talking until it was time to enter in a class.

Transfiguration class teaches the art of changing the form and appearance of an object or a person. This type of magic is commonly referred to as "Transfiguration" and is considered both complex and dangerous.

Professor McGonagall arrived at the class and after greeting everyone she started the class, first it was very intensive learning of theoretical work about transfiguration like learning the alphabet and the exact ways of transfiguration. She also transformed the Desk into a pig and vice-versa, after the intensive theoretical work she gave a match to the students and try if they could transform it into a needle. Only Drake did it at first try and in the first class, after all, he is an Animagus already. Professor McGonagall gave 10 points because of it but she only said that's and nothing more. She ignored Drake during all the class which let down Drake a little.

After the ending of the class and receiving a lot of homework, they went to herbology, here Drake also had good scores on the first day since he has a plant field in his suitcase. He went to lunch with Cho, Katie, and Scarlett. In the afternoon it was a flying lesson which everyone, in general, could call and mount their broomsticks. For the final and last class, it was DADA. The other person who could transform the match into a needle in the first class was Scarlett.

This day happened without any incident since Drake now was at least letting down the things before he started to do some pranks. The only thing the happened was that one of the head boys of Slytherin had a crisis of farts by mistake which won the fury of bloody baron. Let's say almost no one had rest later at night since peeves kept running from bloody baron. Drake gave the thumbs up to Peeves since the potion was intended to Mr. Fish but instead one of the head boys decided to take it from him and drink. Bloody Baron also paid a visit to Drake and gave a warning to him about his objects. He also talked a bit with twins and gave them some ideas.

After the dinner, Drake and company went to Hagrid hut and talked with him before retrieving his creatures. One more time Scarlett and Jade stayed at odd with each other, when they arrived the school, he and Katie said goodbye to Scarlett and Cho. Then he said goodbye to Katie and went to his suitcase to study a little more and make some experiments.

And with this schedule, Drake passed his days in school. In the free afternoons or on the weekends, he would stay all day in his suitcase or study and talking with the three girls. Drake didn't want to talk about his discoveries with them in the first days but after the first weeks, he started to speak about what he had discovered. He had a lot of things to do and no time at for all of them.

He asked them for help to try and discover more about the cursed vaults and the person mentioned in the book. Katie was very social with the other students, Cho had privet library in her house common room and Scarlett had a lot of knowledge about runes and ancient things since she was a lot older than he. Also, her mother was probably one of the most knowledgeable beings in the world.

Sometimes he would also prank Cormac or Mr. Fish, the relation with Snape also stayed equal. Snape would try to do everything to undermine Drake under a certain limit, but Drake almost every time would escape from it.

Drake asked Dumbledore if he could permit the duels again in DADA since he has read them from one of the books in the library, which Dumbledore said he would think about it. He eventually gave a word to teacher Karpov about it. So, in the last class of DADA, each week, there would be a duel with random students from different houses were picked to duel each other. This was one of the most well receive measures among the students. The objective was to disarm the opponent and the winner could win between 5 to 15 points according to the spell used, Sometimes the loser could also win some points if the duel was a close call, the judge would be Professor Karpov.
