10 I'm dropping.

(A-note: Just kidding. I didn't have a title for this chapter.)

( A few minutes earlier)

"AIZAWA YOU LIAR!

A tall, buff, All Might said once Aizawa turned the corner and disappeared from the sights of the students.

"Oh, it's All Might. So you were watching, I take it? You must be free, then."

Aizawa replied dryly.

"A "LOGICAL RUSE"? APRIL FOOL'S WAS A WEEK AGO! YOU EXPELLED AN ENTIRE NEW CLASS OF FIRST-GRADERS LAST YEAR!

You kick kids out without a moment's hesitation if you judge them as having "Zero Chances."

All Might stopped for a moment for dramatic purposes before he goes akimbo.

"This is a total 180 from what you used to always say! Could it be because...

You felt it too, right?"

All Might pointed at Aizawa with a finger gun.

"Midoriya's raw potential!!"

"..... "You too," huh. So you have his back, right? Normally that'd be against your teaching style..."

Aizawa started walking away.

"His chances are above the "Zero Mark". That's all. I can kick out anyone whose chances drop below that mark anytime. It's not a cruel thing to end the half-assed of chasing a dream." All Might looked at Aizawa's back as he walked away.

"Just as I thought... we'll never get along."

All Might muttered under his breath.

"Come on, Torino-kun! Just tell us already!"

Mina grumbled at Haru who was munching on some berries. They were allowed to get to know each other after the trials by Aizawa who slept in his sleeping bag.

"I already told you, Ashido-san. It's Magic."

Haru replied in-between snacks. The others were talking to themselves but were secretly eavesdropping on their conversation. Especially Bakugo, Todoroki, and Midoriya.

Those three were bewildered as Haru showed a multitude of abilities different from each other. Midoriya tried to theorize about it but he couldn't get to anything substantial.

"That doesn't explain anything!"

Mina said with a puff of her cheeks.

"Haaah~ Alright, fine."

Everyone's ears perked up when they heard Haru. Some even looked directly at him.

"Magic... the power of influencing the course of events by using mysterious or supernatural forces."

He explained with a serious tone. They looked confused while Momo facepalmed.

"That's just the definition of Magic, Haru-kun."

Momo said, her voice sounding muffled.

Haru's serious facade broke as winked at her.

"Hmmm... It's a bit hard to explain. I could do a bunch of REAL magic tricks using my quirk. Like vanishing in front of people, making things float, taking a coin out of someone's ear, stuff like that."

"Wait, don't tell me the name of your quirk is [Magic]?"

Mina asked with a confused face.

"Yes! I've been telling you for the past hour, my athletic alien friend!"

Mina giggled at his way of calling her.

"Hmmm... HOLD ON!"

Denki, who was a few seats away, was thinking of something when he shouted.

"You said magic, right? Then could you use magic spells?! Like those in video games!?"

Everyone started wondering the same thing.

"I wished but no."

Haru replied, deflating Denki's hopes of getting a real-life summoned succubus.

"T-Then, you mean that what you did earlier, the wind, the slippery floor, those shadowy hands, even the eagle! Those were tricks?"

Ochako asked from her seat. She hasn't thanked him yet for saving her so she was a bit embarrassed.

"Who knows?~ Don't worry. You guys will see some of my expertise tomorrow!"

Then the ringing sound of the bell echoed, signaling the end of the first day. Everyone started to go out and head home, Haru was the same. He was about to walk out the door when a wild Ochako appeared.

"A-Ano... Thank you for saving me!"

She exclaimed as she did a 90° bow to Haru.

Haru feigned a surprised and confused expression before "remembering".

"Wait, was that you?"

"Mhmm! It's also because of me that you got stuck in that rubble..."

She showed a sad smile and was about to ask for forgiveness when she felt a hand on top of her head, giving her pats.

"Don't worry about it. It's natural to try and help others. That's what being a hero stands for. See ya tomorrow, Uraraka-san."

Haru walked out of the room leaving behind a blushing Ochako who had her hands on where Haru patted her.

Momo, who was waiting for Haru outside of the classroom, heard what he said.

"Natural, huh? Doesn't that sound cringey to you, Haru-kun?"

Momo said as they walked together through the hallway.

"Of course, I know. It sounded cringey as hell but it's in the job description of being a Hero. Saying cringey stuff and helping people."

Haru answered and Momo hummed, lost in thought.

They soon reached the gates and saw a car waiting for Momo.

"Need a ride to the station?"

Momo asked Haru who responded with a shake of his head.

"It's fine. I'm going to wait for Kinoko-chan."

Haru saw Momo's eyes squint a bit but she eventually nodded and said goodbye.

Haru didn't have to wait for long as Kinoko ran towards him, leaving her friends and classmates behind.

"Haru! It was amazing! We had to do a Quirk Apprehension Test! A lot of my classmates had amazing quirks! Let me introduce you to them... Wait, where are they?"

She said with a single breath as she looked around and saw her classmates looking at her with teasing smiles in the distance. They were waving goodbye as they didn't want to intrude on the puppy-like behavior of the mushroom girl together with her owner-like hunk.

Her head turned red with steam coming out of it in embarrassment.

The two of them walked to the train station while talking about their tests. There were a few U.A students with them from different classes and departments, walking along. When they got to the station though, it was full of people. Once the train arrived, everyone started to push each other forward. Luckily, Kinoko managed to take a seat, but Haru didn't. He was swept by the crowd and was a few meters away from Kinoko. The train was so full that the sardines in a can looked comfortable.

Haru was standing by the doors, facing outward. As he was quite tall and couldn't see that someone was getting squished by him.

"Eughhh..."

Haru heard a pained noise from his chest area and saw a girl from Class 1-B. He immediately stood his ground so the girl wouldn't get squished anymore and put both of his hands on the door, above the girl's head. He smiled apologetically while she looked at him with a poker face.

"I'm very sorry. I couldn't see you there. I'm Torino Haru. It's nice to meet you."

A young girl with shoulder-length, bob-shaped hair, side-swept to her right with some shorter strands hanging above her eyes. She has fair skin, an athletic build, and cerulean eyes. She had a neutral expression on her face when he introduced himself.

"Kodai Yui. Nice to meet you too."

After that, there was a long, long, staredown between the two of them. It only stopped as it was already Haru and Kinoko's stop.

"Well, see you tomorrow, Kodai-san."

She nodded and said "Goodbye" in a quiet voice. Haru had to squeeze his way out and met up with Kinoko who was waiting for him.

"I met a classmate of yours, Kinoko."

Haru said as they walked home.

"Really? Who was it?"

"Kodai-san. She was very silent though."

'Well, more like we didn't talk and just stared at each other's eyes.'

"Ohh?! Her? Her quirk is amazing, Haru! She could make things smaller and bigger!"

Haru nodded his head and switched the topic.

"What are you going to eat today, Kinoko? I'm thinking of eating some spicy seafood flavored cup noodles!"

"There you go again with your cup noodles! I told you that they're unhealthy! I'm going to cook some Carbonara, and I'm going to give you some so don't eat your noodles!"

The two chatted until they reached their apartments where they said "see you later" to each other.

After eating the dinner Kinoko cooked, Haru decided to do something. He cast [Invisibility] on himself and while doing so, remembers the spell [See Invisibility]. He facepalmed and decided to test it out tomorrow if he could see Toru with it. Haru then cast [Pass Without Trace]. After that, he looked out of the window of his room and used [Misty Step].

Once out, he used [Levitate] on himself, once in the air, he leaned forward and cast a lot of [Gust of Wind] on his back.

Haru flew like this, though only 20 feet or so in the air. He went to the highest building in Musutafu and used [Spider Climb] on himself with [Enhanced Ability - Cat's Grace]. He ran upwards, towards the rooftop. Once he was there, he looked at the city around him. Bustling with activity even though it's night.

"Orion..."

Haru muttered as a celestial owl appears on his shoulder, perched.

"Let's send some of your friends around, shall we?"

Haru said to Orion as he gave it some small pats on the head.

He spread his arms, like Tony Stark when he showcased JERICHO. Haru spam cast

[Find Familiar]. Celestial, Fey, and Fiend owls started appearing out of thin air. Not only owls but there were also bats, hawks, and ravens of different types. When he was training in Momo's estate, he found out that when he casts [Find Familiar], he could summon not only Orion but an unlimited amount of familiars. It gets even crazier as every summon of his is connected, meaning they could send messages to each other or even send telepathic images. Haru telepathically ordered them to spread out over all of Japan and find a bunch of people. He continued doing this until morning and it was time for him to start his routine. Haru spent 9 hours spamming [Find Familiar].

(A-note: He could only talk to them telepathically like this because they are 100ft or 30 meters from him. If they get farther, then he won't be able to.)

After that, he jumped off the building and used [Feather Fall], then immediately a bunch of [Gust of Wind] on his back. He flew, to be more accurate, glided, back to his apartment.

Haru was a bit tired so he cast [Cure Wounds], [Healing Word], [Lesser Restoration], [Healing Spirit], moved it around with him, and even did a 10-minute [Prayer of Healing]. After that, his fatigue was gone. Haru did his routine, not forgetting to cast [Unseen Servant] to cook him breakfast. After exercising, he took a shower and then ate breakfast. He wore his uniform before deciding to cast some spells.

Haru started casting a multitude of spells. [Bless], [Enhanced Ability - Bear's Endurance / Bull's Strength / Cat's Grace / Eagle's Splendor / Fox's Cunning / Owl's Wisdom], [False Life], [Heroism], [Mage Armor], [Resistance], [Sanctuary], and lastly, [Shield of Fate]. Some of these spells only last shortly so he decided to train while going to class and cast them over and over again.

Haru together with Kinoko boarded a train toward their school. Kinoko explained some ideas she had on the usage of her quirk. There was a mushroom called stinkhorn, and it had a sticky end that would attract flies. She made one on the train and it stank. Haru had to do some magic of his to remove the smell. Then, she made another type of stinkhorn that looked weird. It had a bunch of holes in it and it was bouncy. She said she could probably make a ton of it close to each other to act as a spring or cage as they looked like one. Once they reached U.A, they said goodbye to each other and went to their respective classrooms.

When Haru reached Class 1-A, there were people in it already. Iida was there, Momo, Todoroki, Mezo, and surprisingly Bakugo. Momo, Iida, and Mezo were chatting while the other two were on their own. When Haru entered, Bakugo glared at him which he returned with a smile that infuriated the guy.

Todoroki glanced at him with narrowed eyes.

"Good morning, Momo-san, Iida-kun, Shoji-kun, Todoroki-san, and what was it again?"

Haru said and wondered. Bakugo was pissed and was about to say something when

"Ahh! I remember now. K.A.C.C.H.A.N~"

Haru said with a teasing smile.

"YOU FUCKING BASTARD!"

Kacchan- I mean, Bakugo cursed and stood up. He ran towards Haru who was starting to vanish. He sent a small explosion to Haru but he wasn't there. It was an Illusion. Bakugo and the others didn't know that though.

"STOP HIDING YOU, COWARD!"

"Pardon? I'm not hiding. I'm right here!"

They heard from the ceiling. They looked up and saw. There he was, seated on a chair with a table in front of him, sipping tea. Bakugo's whole head turned red, not from embarrassment, but anger.

"'I. WILL. KILL. YOU!!!!!!"

"Hehehe~"
