(Herobrine x Reader)...'s Sister

Lyla's little sister, (Y/n), is taken from her peaceful life at home by the dreaded immortal: Herobrine. Lyla, having no idea what to do in order to get her sister back, teams up with a man who goes by the name of Steve, a loner when it comes to traveling. The only question is, can they survive the Trudgers and make it to (Y/n), before it is too late? What if Lyla isn't strong enough, isn't good enough, to save her sister in time? Since there are, like, hardly ANY Minecraft book, I figured yall over here on this side of the internet might have no idea what an xHerobrine book even is! So allow me to grace you with one of my own... The one I wrote like a year ago to make fun of the genre... Still fun though! XD

Chapter 2, Run

Lyla was too afraid to stop running. She knew (Y/n) wasn't very far behind her. She would just have to out run her. And she knew she had enough stamina to do so.

"Lyla, wait!. Just slow down at least!" (Y/n) shouted through the forest. She continued shouting as she ran, a waste of breath if you ask me. Lyla just had to keep running. She didn't want to talk to anyone, she didn't want to be near anyone! She just wanted to climb into the branches of a nearby tree and sleep up there the rest of her life; that's what she wanted! "Lyla, stop!"

Within that very moment Lyla heard the sound of an entire tree snapping in two and looked up just in time to see a massive oak tree massacring the air between it, and her face. "!Wa!" Lyla slid into a roll to get past in time. She barely made it. Lyla felt the ground shake as the tree fell just a few pixels behind her.

Lyla just took a few silent moments laying on her back after that roll/slide just breathing the air she was so happy to still be breathing. Then she heard frantic footsteps coming her way.

"Lyla!!!" (Y/n) screamed in a one hundred percent panic attack as she jumped into the leaves in search for her sister.

"Over here." Lyla groaned. She didn't really want to be found, but at the same time didn't want to scare (Y/n).

"Oh my gosh, Lyla! Are you hurt!?" (Y/n) ran into view with a few leaves in her almost perfect hair. Oh how Lyla wished she could keep her hair that tamed all the time.. For some reason (Y/n) kept looking up at the sky and around in the trees as if she saw something earlier and was trying to find it again.

"No. I am fine." Lyla sighed. Then she attempted sitting up. "Ow." Lyla felt a painful tug on her hair. Then she realized that not her entire self, had entirely gotten past that tree. Her long hair was stuck under the thick heavy wood. And with the angle she was in Lyla couldn't try to lift the log herself.

"Oh no, your hair. We might have to cut it. Probably time to anyways." (Y/n) pointed out.

"No. I like it long. Just, try to lift the branch or something." Lyla said.

"What?! That thing weighs like a hundred times both of us combined!" (Y/n), being the smarty pants, had to point out as well.

"Just try." Lyla commanded. (Y/n) then walked over to the stump and tried lifting it up. As hard as she tried, she was right. It was too heavy. (I guess she didn't think to just break it. :> I guess she would need an axe though so her fists don't die.)

"Aww, is the little (Y/n) helpless with her big sissie unable to help her?" An odd masculine voice mocked from behind (Y/n). Lyla tilted herself and let her jaw drop when she saw the myth, the legend himself, Herobrine.

In response to the devilish voice, (Y/n) spun fully around and jumped back at the sight of the glowing eyes Herobrine was so well known for having.

"Who are you?!. Friend, or enemy!?" (Y/n) demanded.

"A little bit of both.." The legend's mouth curved upward into an uncommon smile.

"I said: who are you!?" (Y/n) shouted louder that time. It was clear she was mainly just trying to scare this guy off, or stall. Once Lyla realized this, she began yanking at her hair for it to come out.

"Didn't anyone tell you?. Surely, your own big sister would spare enough time to tell you a few stories, dont'cha think?" He tilted his head with an evil smirk. He already knew the answer. (Y/n) then looked back to Lyla for an answer.

"He's Herobrine.." Lyla stopped to make direct eye contact with her sister. She had indeed never told (Y/n) about the legends. She never wanted to.

"You have known this whole time, and you didn't tell me.. about HIM?!" (Y/n) looked betrayed in a way.

"They were just stories! I didn't know they were actually true! And I just figured you wouldn't care anyways...." Lyla trailed off at the end. Her words didn't exactly make (Y/n) feel any better. And when both girls put their attention back on Herobrine, he was only a block away from (Y/n).

(Y/n) jumped back, almost stepping on her sister by accident, but was caught by Herobrine himself, who grabbed her by the wrist as she was about to fall backwards. The two stayed like that for an awkward second or two as both tried to think about what to do next. If (Y/n) pulled herself back up she would be far too close to Herobrine for comfort, but he didn't seem to have any intentions of letting her go.

"Uhm, c- can you let me--goplease?" (Y/n) tried being polite.

"How cute; of course not." Was his answer. That made (Y/n) and Lyla both frown. (Y/n) readied her hand to quickly smack Herobrine's arm, but before she could, he noticed and pulled her up into a tight hug like squeeze.

"Let go of her, you block-head!" Lyla tried to get back up but almost ripped her head off her own shoulders in the process, so she took a quick fall afterwards.

"Yeah! Let go!" (Y/n) punched Herobrine's back, but that didn't seem to effect him one bit.

"Oh calm down( (Y/n). I am not going to hurt you." He said gently, somehow.

"Well what do you plan on doing then?!" (Y/n) demanded an answer.

"Simple." Then he lifted her chin so she had to look him in those pupilless glowing white eyes. "I want you to be my girl." He smiled. She didn't smile back. And then, HE FREAKIN' KISSED HER! Lyla couldn't stand the sight so she quickly covered her face, but didn't dare completely close her eyes. And she tried tugging her hair out again, but she could only sit up. When Lyla finally looked back she saw Herobrine had started walking away, (Y/n) in his arms trying to push herself away. A Nether portal appeared and Herobrine was about to go through it when (Y/n) jumped away and stumbled several blocks away.

"You'll never take me!" (Y/n) spat. Then Herobrine caught sight of Lyla, and a playful evil grin rose on his face.

"Oh really?" He said slyly. "Well if not, then, I guess I will have no other choice then to-" during that second pause he pulled out a, very sharp looking, diamond sword. "-kill your sister." He said it so simply, it seemed as if killing was just a daily thing for him. Maybe it was.

"You wouldn't dare." (Y/n) growled.

"Oh?. I totally would.. Who needs a pointless waste of oxygen anyways?" Evil smile intensifies. And everyone knew he wasn't lying. (Y/n) looked long and hard at her sister, who desperately mouthed 'no' several times over again, the first tears in years popping into her eyes, but refusing to fall. Then she looked back at Herobrine.

"O.. okay..." She said so quietly it was almost a whisper. But it was enough. Herobrine smiled and took (Y/n)'s unwilling hand.

"I promise you will not regret your decision." He said coldly, but with that same did dun darn evil smile!.

"NoOoOoOoOoO!!!" Lyla screamed, pulling herself so hard that her hair snapped where it had been held, and she fell forwards onto her trembling knees. But it was too late. (Y/n).. was already gone...
