8 Chapter 7 : The Truth

Hiro POV :

I hid myself behind the door and leaned back to listen to Mother Alicia and Father Yaekagi's conversation.

Father Yaekagi: "It's impossible, Hiro doesn't have any mana on him, we already checked it when he was still a baby"

Mother Alicia: "That's what I thought, but he awakened his mana just now, the only speculation I know is his late parents are from a mage family"

I peek inside the room and see both of them sitting on the sofa, Mother Alicia leans back on the sofa and scrunches her face.

Mother Alicia: "This makes it more complicated, The Great King faction and Baels clan still looking for us, I'm afraid Hiro's life is in danger because of us"

Father Yaekagi: "Me too, I have the information from my friend that The church is making a deal with the devil from the Baels clan"

Mother Alicia frowns her brows, her hand shaking in fear, she then looks at Father Yeakagi's eyes in fury.

Mother Yeakagi: "You told me will be safe here, I already helped the church with the information of the "King piece", they promised to hide us from them!!"

Father Yaekagi: "I'm sorry Cleria, I have already done anything I could to help, they said I would get excommunicated from the church if I still keep you here."

Father Yaekagi shook his body, he looked down in shame and desperation, suddenly Mother Alicia hugged him tightly.

Mother Alicia: "I'm not doubting your effort Yaekagi"

Father Yaekagi: "But I failed to convince them Cleria!!, I know the church couldn't be trusted, I'm so pathetic and powerless in this situation"

Father Yeakagi then starts crying helplessly in Mother Alicia's embrace, mother Alicia then tries to calm him down.

Mother Alicia: "It's okay Yaekagi, I should know the church can't be this lenient to house a devil in the church"

She then looks sad too, but she straightens her emotions and releases Yaekagi from her embrace, she wipes Father Yeakagi's tears from his face.

Mother Alicia: "You're still here for us right? even if your faith has been doubted by the church, you are still here and be a man whom god is proud of"

Mother Alicia cringed her face when she said god names, she then continued to talk.

Mother Alicia: "You help a devil that's an enemy of your faith and fighting back against the hypocrisy from the church, please be proud of yourself, you are the strongest man I know and the only man I love"

Father Yaekagi controls his emotions and wipes the remaining tears from his face, he looks straight into Mother Alice's eye with full determination.

Father Yaekagi: "I will never give up on you and Hiro, even if it's losing my title and position in the church"

He takes a deep breath and relaxes his body to calm himself down.

Father Takagi: "Right now we need to focus on Hiro well well-being"

Mother Alicia: "I agree, do we have to tell him about his condition ?"

Mother Alicia: "I know he is still too young to know the supernatural"

Father Yaekagi: "It's not his time to know Cleria, let's hide it until he is mature enough to understand the supernatural, I want him to have a normal childhood like every other normal child has"

She then straightened her clothes and smiled at Father Yaekagi.

Mother Alicia: "Okay, let's just have a nice dinner together alright? I think Hiro is awake now from what I hear screaming upstairs"

After hearing that I slowly backed away from the door and rushed upstairs and got to my room again.

After I got to my room, I closed my door and sat down leaning on the door, after hearing the conversation my thoughts filled with questions.

Why does Mother Alicia know I have mana? who are they? , and why is someone chasing them?

I thought Mother Alicia was just a normal nun and Father Yaekagi was a normal priest, I'm not surprised that Father Yaekagi is an exorcist because I know this is a DxD world but Mother Alicia is the one who shocked me.

From the conversation Father Yaekagi called her Cleria, is that her real name? and she is a devil too?, man this is so confusing for me.

This is not on the original story that I know of, after thinking for a bit I remembered something, before Rias Gremory came here and governed Kuoh territory with so a sona sitri, there was a previous ruler here and her name was Cleria Belial.

The anime never mentions her at all except in the light novel, Diehauser Belial her cousin the former head of the Belial clan in the future.

he joined Rizevim Livan Lucifer and Qlippoth in exchange for them helping him determine what happened to Cleria and who caused her sudden death.

My life is rigged from the start huh? I got adopted by an important character and suddenly I got this power from Gaia.

My hand clenched in anger, I thought now I had a real family that cared about me, even if they were not my real family I cared so much about them.

Now everything got ruined by some f*cking story of a fan service anime, this is not fair for me a normal human to get dragged into this mess.

I grit my teeth and stand up from the door, I walk towards the window and see the moon up in the sky, my red eyes shining from the moonlight reflection, I put my hand in my heart and say something that shakes the world.

Hiro: "Listen to me world, I don't care if you want to f*ck me over and over, but if you touch a single hair from the one I care about, I will crush you down, even if I have to break the destiny of this world, I will come on top and make you my b*tch, so throw anything that you have world!!"

My desire, passion, and determination were responded to by the surrounding nature as if they saw and listened to what I just said, the mana around me cheering me on to watch my journey to the strongest and lastly the world heard me and I felt it smiling at me and give a challenging smile to watch my struggle.

Suddenly I feel something else watching me, I shudder from the sudden cold and pressure on me, but the sudden pressure is instantly gone and the system gives me a notification that kinda of scares me a little.

*ding*

[congratulation you got a new title "DxD Attention"]

Okay, that's weird, well whatever, right now I need to focus on a plan for something for the future, I need to grind my mana first through meditation and learn or make my own spell.

When suddenly my belly started grumbling,

Hiro: "damn I forgot to eat dinner"

I hear Mother Alicia calling me from downstairs to come down to eat and help her prepare the plate.

Hiro: "Okay Mother Alicia I'm coming down for a sec"

I'll do the grinding later, I need some food right now, just wait world I'll be the strongest that you've ever seen... After dinner tho.

3rd POV :

[location Dimensional Gap]

In the dark dimensional gap, a red giant dragon is floating through the dimension unbothered by the chaos surrounding it.

The dragon is floating without care suddenly its eyes open wide, beautiful golden slit eyes looking around full of curiosity, and landed on a hole in the gap.

It's seen a human child talking to the sky as if it's trying to challenge the world itself, but that's not what the dragon is interested in, the human boy shows the strongest desire that surprises the dragon.

The dragon then let out a coarse but feminine laugh that made the dimensional gap shake.

The dragon grinned with full interest and let out a single word with a feminine voice.

??? : "Interesting"
