12 Chapter 11: The start of a tragic journey

Kuoh Elementary School is the only elementary school in this town where I studying in, inside the class I am seated in the back corner of the classroom like your typical anime protagonist, I know it's too cliche for me but the advantage of having this seat that you rarely get caught sleeping in a class by the teacher and pretty much slack off for the rest of the class hour.

Yeah, you heard me right, I'm a lazy son of a b*tch and don't want to relearn basic math again, so I just ignore the teacher and train my magic to pass the time.

inside the class, I notice some of the students possess a small sign of mana inside their bodies but the rest of them don't have any at all, so not all humans can possess mana in their bodies and some don't have any talent to harness their mana even if they have mana inside their body.

'I guess I'm that lucky huh?, but knowing this world filled with the supernatural, I need this power to survive', I go back to meditating with a sleeping posture at the table to avoid getting seen as a weirdo, but before I got a chance to meditate a hush voice of my desk mate make me lost concentration.

"Hey, Takeda-Kun wakes up, the teacher will be mad if you are caught sleeping", I open my eyes and look beside me, I see a small girl who has brown hair with twin tails and hazel color eyes looking at me with full concern.

I give her the laziest look ever and continue meditating, oh yeah I forgot to introduce my desk mate, her name is Muramaya Katase, The future knight of sona sitri and the one that will beat the living sh*t out to Issei just because he always peeping at the kendo girls, I still don't know what the point of peeping naked girls, maybe they have that weird fetish or something.

After a while, she kept pestering me to wake up but finally, she gave up and went back to studying with a sulking face, I don't remember interacting with her at all and she always tried to open a conversation with me, mostly I ignored her advances because when I know what world I'm living here, the more I'm closer to the plot and meeting that pervert protagonist.

After the school bell rings, I open my eyes and see my training progress in front of me.

'I still have way much to go huh?', not discouraged with the small gain, I pack up my things and ready to go home, as I walk on the road I see the sunset with a perfect view of the Kuoh town, and still don't know this is the last and long time I will saw this beautiful sight again.

As I got close to the church, a sudden jolt washed over my body, the surroundings changed to a different dimension look, the sky turned purple and the eerie feeling got stronger as came closer to the church.

'what the f*ck was that?', before I come to my senses an explosion comes from inside the church, with fear gripping my heart the thought of Father Yaekagi and Mother Alicia's well-being, I force myself to run toward the church entrance door to look at the situation, after I arrived at the door and open the church door, the sight of carnage make my stomach turn upside down, the dead bodies is human but they have a black bat wing behind their back.

'A Devil?!?!' with the revelation of what happening, I remembered the conversation between Mother Alicia and Father Yeakagi,

'stop thinking Hiro, you need to focus on finding Them first', with a heavy breath sound coming from the altar, I come closer and see Father Yaekagi is injured Heavily, Father Yaekagi then notices me and coughs violently.

"*Cough* *Cough*, Hiro Is that you?" he tried to get up but the pain made him go down again, I rushed to him and helped him to lean at the altar, with fear and anxiety holding me to talk, Father yeakagi hold my hand and look straight to my eyes with a serious look.

"Hiro Listen to me *Cough* I don't have time to explain, you must get to Mother Alicia quickly and run away fast"

"H-How about yo-", my speech got cut off by the sudden head pat from Father Yeakagi that trying to calm me down, I didn't notice that in panicking right now, didn't know what to do in this situation.

"Hiro, please promise me.....promise that you stay safe okay?*Cough*, I will stay back and hold them off", I tried to object to him saying we should go find Mother Alicia together, but he gave me a stern look and did not want any objection from me, with a heavy heart I only can nod to him, he gave me a warm smile that will sit in my memory forever.

He then presses a hidden button underneath the altar and reveals a hidden door going down to the hidden room.

"Go find Mother Alicia and escape, I'll stay and hold them off", he mustered his remaining strength to get up and I heard a dozen footsteps coming toward the church entrance, Father Yeakagi turned towards the door and signaled me to go back.

I go into the hidden room and look back at Father Yaekagi with a concerned look, he looks back at me and smiles brightly as if nothing has happened to him, I know he is trying to ease my fear but the feeling of fear and sadness still lingers in my heart.

"Don't worry son, I'll come back for you two, so go, don't look back okay?", he then pressed the hidden button again, closing the door slowly, he turned back from me and saw a dozen devils running towards him.

"ALRIGHT YOU SON OF B*TCHES, COME AND TASTE THE POWER OF GOD YOU DEVIL SCUM!!!!", a scream and explosion of magic come from behind the door, I begin to run towards the hallway of the basement, after 5 minutes of running I see the end of the hallway and see a door, I open the door and see Mother Alicia on the floor drawing an unknown magic circle at the middle of the room, the sound of the opening door alerted her and look back to see me, when she saw me she relaxes her posture.

"Hiro, come over here, we need to go now!", with a voice of urgency Mother Alicia grabbed me and stood with her in the middle of the magic circle, but before she could do anything an explosion came through the door and knock us back from the magic circle.

"Arghh", we both see a Devil in front of us trying to look at the surrounding room, he wanders his eyes and locks on Mother Alicia's eyes, the devil then smiles maliciously.

"Ah, there you are Cleria, try to escape again huh?", Mother Alicia then tried to move but the devil held her in midair with his magic.

"Tsk, tsk don't try to fight back Cleria, it's pointless", she grits her teeth in anger and tries to get out of the hold.

"you tried to betray us to give the information of the king piece to the church and have a human lover? Disgusting".

"You bael scum, you don't care about the king piece in formation falling through the hand of the church, you only want to hide the truth of the King piece from the devil kind, you only care about your clan status in the underworld", Mother Alicia still struggling in mid-air and spit towards the face of the Devil, the devil wipes the spit from his face.

"No, it's for the greater good of devil kind, as the Devil from the house of Bael I herby you guilty of treason and punish you with execution", Mother Alicia looked helplessly at the situation, the only she thought about was the safety of her son Hiro.

While that's happening, I'm still stuck beneath the rubble, looking helplessly and powerless at Mother Alicia, before coming to this world I was just an orphan, I didn't have any family or relatives, so the feeling of having a family never came to my minds, but after dying to that damn truck it's given me a second chance to live, a second chance to have a family, the warmth and the feeling of coming home to see someone waiting for you to come home and eat dinner together, the feeling that having a mom and dad make me grateful for my circumstances.

'But Fate trying to f*ck me over, Trying to take everything from me, Everything I have, my life, my dignity and MY F*CKING FAMILY TOO!?!?', the emotion of helplessness and Sadnnes, change into Anger, anger to this fate of the world, anger of for the people trying to take my family away and anger towards my uselessness.

My heart beat faster, the mana inside scrambling towards my whole body, I grit my teeth in anger, trying to do something, but a notification comes to my view.

[The title '??????????' Ready to be revealed ]

"Yes", only one word came to my mouth that changed the world, all of the supernatural worlds felt it.

the leader of Fallen Angel that trying to flirt with a woman suddenly paused and shivered in fear with the sudden changes.

The leader of the Devil Race, still in the office writing the reports drops his pen, suddenly feels uneasy, and looks out the window warily.

The Leader of Heaven, managing the heaven system suddenly has a headache, the feeling that he long has forgotten, the feeling that he feels the first time he is born.

A gothic lolita watching the sky, suddenly changes the direction of her face towards the sudden changes, with an emotionless face changing into a hope of reclaiming her lost home.

The gods who reside in their pantheon were busy with their doing and stopped to feel the change to their ley lines beneath their land as if waiting for their true owner.

And lastly, a red-haired woman inside the dimensional gap, laughing in delight when she sees her future mate getting stronger and stronger each time she sees him, only time for her to grab him and mark him as hers.

A sudden force of magic pushed the devil away and dropped Mother Alicia to the ground before she tried to comprehend what was happening, I slammed my hand toward the magic circle and activated it.

"wha- Hiro!!, sto-", before she said anything, she teleported away from the room, leaving me and the devil alone.

"*Cough* *Cough* what the f*ck was that!?!"

, the devil tries to get up and only feels a dreaded pressure in front of him, a human child that makes his whole being shaken, his first instinct is to move away from that monster but his legs are stuck on the ground because the heavy fear coming from the human child.

"Wha- what are y-you", the devil can only mutter a few words before the child, releases a magic formula on his hand.

[Mater manipulation magic: Compressed]

The devil then screamed in pain at getting his body compressed, slowly the surrounding place followed to be compressed with the devil, making the place shake violently almost like a mini earthquake.

Before the devil went into nothingness, the only sight that he saw was the literal Planet's presence hugging that cursed child.

*Fwissshhh* *boom*

After the devil died the magic around him exploded, making the building crashing down, and burying Hiro again, hiro only closed his eyes in exhaustion and fell unconscious inside the church's underground room.

(Change perspective)

3rd Pov :

After the explosion, the devil outside the church began to retreat and left the place, 10 minutes passed by a dozen groups of people came towards the church.

They are from the Vatican, trying to assess the situation, they get in and see the carnage of the devil's body scattering everywhere inside the church.

After finding no survivor and the body of Yaekagi the traitor, they begin to leave the church, but suddenly one of the exorcists finds something.

"Hey, I found a survivor here", they began to remove the rubble from the child and picked him up, after checking his pulse, they concluded that the boy was still alive, the exorcist then looked at their superiors.

"what do we do about this boy Archbishop?, I detect a large mana fluctuation inside his body".

"bring him back to Italy, we can use the boy for our plan", the Archbishop then smiled manically, with this boy his dream of using Excalibur will come true sooner than ever.

After that, the archbishop and the exorcist left the church and brought the boy with them, in the future that archbishop would be known as Valper Galilei the Genocide Archbishop.

The future is changing and the fate of the world is in the hands of one boy, can he go through the struggles and challenges in the future? No one knew because his story had just begun, and we can only watch him from afar, hoping for a Legend of humanity to rise from the ashes and show the world that the human race is not weak and should be not underestimated.
