Walking through the streets, Hai quickly arrived at a deserted area with decaying building all around.
He glanced at his phone and saw that Stella was a few hundred meters ahead of him.
He picked a cigarette from his pocket and lit it up.
Putting it in his mouth, he vanished from where he was.
*TAP*
Gently landing on the top of a tall building hundreds of meters away from where he was, he scanned his surroundings with his mana sense.
After some seconds, he looked at a place that had what appeared to be several buildings close to each other, almost as if they were trying to form only one building.
He looked at his phone and confirmed that Stella was indeed there.
'Couldn't have chosen a better place?' He thought but vanished right after.
*BANG*
*BANG*
*TATATATATATATATATATATATA*
When Hai was arriving on the place, he started to hear several shooting sounds.
Focusing his senses where he heard the sounds coming from, he quickly found a squadron of people dressed in high-tech armor with plasma guns and shooting towards the windows on the fifth floor of one building.
Using his mana sense, Hai felt Stella inside that building but also felt at least 7 other squadrons going up or down the building or closing the perimeter around the building.
Using magic on himself, Hai made his image blurry, spat his recently lit cigarette and put on two masks.
One being a disguise mask and the one being an anti-security mask.
Then, he jumped down towards the squadron that was firing against the windows.
*PUCHI*
He made an iron spear and while being on the handle's top, the spear fell down and the blade pierced the guy's head.
The other members stopped shooting momentarily but when they turned around, they only saw a polished dark gray color covering their field of view.
Hai made small soundproof metal boxes with spikes in it and trapped all of them inside.
*PUCHI*

*PUCHI*
After some seconds, the boxes vanished and the corpses fell to the ground.
Hai looked at the corpses' armor and found a small green dot glowing near their ears.
Those green dots are a signal that they were alive. It was a way for their headquarters to know who died and where.
Sadly for them, Hai is used to deal with it.
He froze their whole insides seconds before they died.
He basically put them into cryogenic sleep and made them be "alive" in the eyes of their headquarters.
Hai looked away and sprinted towards the building.
*TAP*

*TAP*
*TAP*
Running at a lower speed, Hai arrived near the parking lot's wall and jumped above it while making two iron knives.
He spined horizontally while lowering his head to pull his body and moving his waist forwards in the air and launched the knives.
*PUCHI*
*PUCHI*
Two enemies using the same armor and weapons as the squadron from before, fell to the ground with two knives on the top of their head.
And just like before, the knives pierced their brains and froze their inside when they were just about to die.
*TAP*
Hai landed on the ground and using of his momentum, he passed the energy of the impact when landing to the ground and back to his legs before kicking the ground and further boosting his speed.
Arriving near a broken window on the first floor, Hai made three knives in his left hand and one dagger in his right.
Then, he jumped in a diving motion, with his head going towards the ground and his body following right after.
*SHATTER*
He jumped through the broken window shattering the last shards of glass that it had and entered the building's ground floor.
When he passed through the window, he moved his head towards his chest and moved his waist forwards.
He then threw the knives in his left hand while he landed on the floor rolling forwards.
*PUCHI*
"Huh-"
*PUCHI*
*PUCHI*
His knives pierced the neck of three enemies and they fell to the ground.
While their bodies were falling to the ground, Hai who was rolling, used of his hands jumped towards an enemy in front of him.
While his enemy was starting to react, Hai landed his left leg on the ground, lifted his left leg, kicked the enemy's face and brought his leg down onto the guy's right arm's joint.
He bent his leg and locked it with the guy's joint, then he swung his leg to his left.
The guy lost his balance and was dragged to the right.
Hai moved his right hand and plunged his dagger on his neck, took it out, spun it around, held it in a reverse grip and craved it in his head.
He then released his leg and stepped on the ground with his left leg.
*THUD*
*THUD*
*THUD*
*THUD*
The four enemies in the room fell to the ground at the same time.
The difference was the last one, he had his armor's visor frozen.
Hai then made another dagger in his left hand and sprinted towards the door.
He arrived near the door and willed his mana.
*FUUSH*
The guy on the other side of the door who came to check the sudden noises, suddenly found his vision entirely white.
Then, a katana's blade came through the door, pierced his neck and brought him towards the door.
Hai yanked the guy into the room through the door and pierced his head with his other dagger.
Then, he took his dagger which now had a katana blade out and it went back to being a dagger.
Hai speeded off towards the elevator afterwards.
Arriving at the elevator's doors, Hai kicked the thing open.
He found the elevator there and entered it.
He willed his mana, opened the ceiling and jumped up.
He connected his dagger on the elevator's cable and morphed the blade into something resembling two vertical cogs sandwiching the cable, the cog-like things started spinning and made Hai start to go up.
2nd floor.
3rd floor.
4th floor.
5th floor.
When Hai arrived at the fifth floor, he kicked the wall, spun around in a circle and disconnected his dagger off the elevator's cable.
He flew towards the door and opened with his impact.
Using a small spell to make the door being blasted open inaudible, Hai entered the fifth floor while thrusting his arms forwards.
*PUCHI*
*PUCHI*
*FUUSH*
"Huh?"
Hai killed two enemies who were at the back of a squadron composed of 10 people.
Before their bodies fell to the ground, Hai froze everyone's visor and kicked the ground towards them.
He connected both dagger and made a guan dao.
He spined it in his hands, then grabbed it with his right hand at close to the blade and his left hand right after.
He slightly spined it and made the blade be inclined the blade until it was around 30Âș.
With a burst of strength, he slashed it diagonally upwards towards the right.
*SWOOSH*
He swiftly decapitated one of his enemies just like that.
Then, not losing momentum, he spined his body rightwards doing a 270Âș maneuver.
He spined the guan dao in his hand while moving his hands towards the left side. Then, he grabbed the guan dao back and slashed diagonally downwards to the right.
*SWOOSH*
*THUD*
*THUD*
The first two bodies from when he entered the floor finally hit the ground.
His enemies seemed to be starting to get a hang of the situation.
Hai sliced the guy from his neck to his armpit and rotate his body along with the guan dao.
He redirected the momentum of the weapon and by grazing the blade to the ground, he did a 360Âș spin while slashing towards another's neck in a horizontal manner.
*SWOOSH*
Another one was swiftly decapitated.
He did another 360Âș spin and spun his weapon in a vertically manner.
He then turned his guan dao into a spear and thrusted it forwards and slight to the left right after he finished his spin.
*PUCHI*
He precisely pierced another guy's head while sending him backwards due to the strength behind his attack.
Hai then moved his left leg in a half-circle manner and did a 180Âș spin while he released his right hand from the spear.
He released his left hand off the spear and the spear's handle turned into liquid metal which flew to his left hand and transformed into a dagger.
He turned the dagger upside down and held it in a reverse grip manner.
He then put the centrifugal force behind his spin in the arm holding the dagger and swung his arm while aiming the dagger at the enemy's head.
*PUCHI*
*THUD*
Another body from before fell to the ground.
Hai released the dagger and made two claws, one for each and kicked the ground.
He passed by two members of the squadron who were side by side and moved his arms upwards.
*PUCHI*
*PUCHI*
He pierced right below their chin with his claws, killing them on the spot.
Then, he made the claws disconnect from his hands.
Without losing speed, he put his left leg forwards and slid sidewards towards the last guy and captain of this squad while his left hand moved upwards.
His left foot hit the guy's right one and Hai grabbed his head with his left hand.
*FUUSH*
Hai froze the guy from inside out, killing him in one go.
*THUD*
*THUD*
*THUD*
*THUD*
*THUD*
*THUD*
All the other bodies fell to the ground right when Hai killed the last one.
*THUD*
He released the captain and his body fell to the ground just like others.
He used his mana sense and walked towards the end of the corridor.
*TAP*
*TAP*
*TAP*
He stopped before a slightly ajar door.
"Stella, you b*tch, come out." He said not mincing his words.
*BANG*
A bullet came from behind the door aiming at his head.
Hai materialized metal at the back of his right hand and swung his hand up.
*CLANG*
*PYU*
He hit the bullet with the metal part of his hand by making a swatting motion and sent the bullet upwards.
The bullet pierced the ceiling and came out of the 6th floor's ground, killing another enemy who was coming out of a room by landing on his head.
*THUD*
A small thud was heard from the floor above.
"I won't ask twice." Hai said while putting his hand down.
*CREAK*
The door opened right after Hai said this and he saw a disheveled Stella.
Torn clothes, messy hair, blood in some parts of her body.
A wild and miserable Stella appeared.
"Hai?" She asked while putting her weapon away and looking at him dumbfounded.
"No, the Santa." He stated and grabbed her by her hair.
"Ouch! Slow-"
Hai hit her neck with a chop motion and Stella fell unconscious.
He threw her up his shoulder like a sack of potatoes and turned to look at the where he came from.
'It's one after the otherâŠ' He thought while annoyed.
*TAP*
Another squadron arrived at the floor by descending the stairs and pointed their weapons at Hai.
The leader of this squadron came forwards.
And this one was different to say the least.
The guy looked like a gorilla.
A bulky muscular body, thick arms and legs, all of it covered by dark gray armor.
"State your name and why you are with this woman. Depending on your motives, we may let you go after wiping your memories." He said in a calm voice, not drawing his own weapon.
Hai looked at him as if looking at an idiot.
"My name is Ligma. This woman owes me a lot of things and she wasn't paying it up, hence I came to take her and make her work in a brothel." He admitted.
"âŠ"
"âŠ"
The leader stayed silent, then he started talking again after some seconds.
"You know that nobody is going to believe that, right?" He asked while grabbing a spear from his back and pointing at Hai.
Hai shrugged his shoulders.
"It's easier to believe in this than in your words about letting me off by just wiping my memories. Anyway, have a good sleep." Hai turned around.
The whole squadron aimed at him and pulled the trigger.
But nothing happened.
*FUUSH*
They were all frozen.
Even their leader.
While Hai was having the talk with the captain, he was spreading his mana and concentrating enough so their defenses wouldn't be able to save them.
His bullshit bought enough time for him to easily deal with some annoying opponents.
*SWOOSH*
Hai appeared on top of one building a few hundred meters away from where he was.
He looked back at the building.
Then, he smiled arrogantly.
His whole aura exuded a cocky nature in it.
He took his anti-security mask and revealed his face.
"Easy." He remarked and jumped away from the building.
A few kilometers above where Hai was, there was a small drone whose camera was focusing on Hai before he jumped away.
This drone was connected to the Krakler Firm's headquarters.
The members in the headquarters who were seeing this scene, all of them smirked and then rewound the video to where Hai took his mask off.
They all smiled upon seeing his face.
One of the members started to search up in their data bank who that face belonged to and after a few brief seconds, he found it.
He turned to his superior and yelled.
"Chief! That guy's name is Ye Chen."
The chief smiled and looked back at Hai's image on the screen.
He was wearing his disguise mask coupled with magic, he had red hair and blue eyes.
His arrogant aura and cocky words, all of it aligned with the individual known as Ye Chen.
"Get me this Ye Chen for yesterday!" The chief shouted at the staff on standby.
