16 Chapter 11: Changes [2]

In a luxurious mansion bigger than 5 soccer fields, with big corridors, expensive vases and paintings that a normal citizen could never hope to buy, a beautiful woman was seating on a luxurious chair inside one of the rooms of this mansion.

This would have been a picturesque scene, had it not been for the room being painted red with blood, corpses at the corner of the room, and even some guts scattered on the floor.

The woman had a bored look on her face and her beautiful eyes looked uninterestedly at the couple lying below her feet and prostrating themselves in a futile attempt to win her mercy.

The man groveling on the ground was no one than Jin Chang, the head of the Jin family and Hai's biological father.

The woman besides him is Jin Nuo, Jin Chang's wife and Hai's biological mother.

Both of them could be seen prostrating themselves on the ground but they were continuously trembling and the amount of sweating that was leaving their bodies had wet the carpet enough for it to become visibly damp.

The woman sitting on the luxurious chair raised her long slender leg wearing expensive black high heels, and stepped on the man's head.

Jin Chang, one of the wealthiest men in the whole China Federation, a proud and arrogant man who stands on top of social pyramid and look below with disdain for the masses, this same man who would kill anyone just for glancing at him for more than an instant was simply prostrating himself. When he felt the smooth leg with a high heel pressing his head against the ground, he didn't even dare to have any thoughts, but instead he further bended as if wanting to become one with the ground.

His wife who was an arrogant woman that would speak ill of anyone slightly more beautiful than her and would spend millions monthly, didn't comment on her husband's pathetic state as she was the same.

The woman who had her high heel pressing against the man's head, finally opened her mouth and a melodic voice filled the room tainted with blood.

"You know that after all you have done and put my young master through, even if you kneel before me and pray, I won't spare you, don't you?

The woman was no other than Elena.

Right now, she was at the Jin's mansion on a mission her young master had tasked with.

The mission was rather simple: infiltrate the mansion, pick certain documents and leave.

That was all.

But when she was on her way back and saw Jin Chang and Jin Nuo…

She knows that they had no part in the novel after her young master was disowned so she thought why not solve some unfinished business.

Elena's expression right now was a stark contrast to her usual one.

Her beautiful purple eyes that would make one loses themselves were frosty, they could freeze any man's soul. If someone looked at her body and then at her eyes, all their sexual desire would die out and they would only feel fear.

Her perfect face which could be said to be chiseled by the gods was now dark to the point that one would question themselves if she is one with the shadows.

Her maid dress was tainted with blood, her blood-covered gloves showed that she doesn't run from the dirty job, and her beautiful seductive lips forming a thin line showed that she was beyond pissed.

She expressionlessly kept looking at the man beneath her feet.

"I-I-I… so..r-"

*BAM*

*CRACK*

Jin Chang kissed the ground more passionately than a husband and wife kissing in their wedding.

His head smashed against the ground and formed cobweb-like cracks.

Elena who was previously expressionlessly looking at him, now had rage filling her eyes.

"Sorry!?!?!?" Her seductive and sweet voice started to grow in several octaves and distorting, as if she was an entirely different person from the one Hai knows.

"I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR PATHETIC EXCUSES, NOR YOUR PATHETIC LIFE AND MUCH LESS IF YOU ARE SORRY OR NOT!!!! YOU HAVE HURT MY LIFE, MY REASON OF EXISTANCE, MY BELOVED, MY YOUNG MASTER!!! YOU HAVE PUT HIM THROUGH SOMETHING NO FAMILY SHOULD PUT A CHILD UNDER! YOU ARE SORRY?! I DON'T GIVE A SINGLE FLYING F*CK ABOUT YOUR REGRET!!!"

Elena's eyes started to become darker and darker and she got up from her chair and started to repeatedly stomp on Jin Chang's head.

*BAM*

Elena repeatedly stomped her high heels on his head without using much force as to not kill him. He isn't worth of death.

After some minutes, she stopped as she saw that the bug was unconscious.

She lifted her feet off his head and looked at Jin Nuo.

"HIeek!!!" Jin Nuo shrieked seeing the demon looking at her and ended pissing her pants for the umpteenth time since she was brought to this room.

Elena looked at her and her previous furious gaze morphed to one containing unmeasurable disdain and disregard.

She waved her hand and suddenly a bright purple miasma covered Jin Nuo from head to toe and entered her body.

Jin Nuo's eyes suddenly snapped open and she opened her mouth.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! PLEASE MAKE IT STOP!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!! I- I BEG YOU!!!! I WILL DO- AAAAAAHHH!!!! THING!!!!" She started to convulse and spasm violently while her legs and arms went out of control and started to swing in any possible direction without any clear goal.

Elena looked at it with her still disdain-filled gaze for some seconds before shifting her attention towards the window.

She took off her blood-covered gloves and brought her delicate hand up and bit her thumb.

Her gaze of disdain changed to one filled with endless craziness.

"It's not enough. They have hurt young master so much; I have to find new ways of hurting them. I can't kill them because it would be too much mercy and they don't deserve to occupy any space in the afterlife. I can't spend too much time here or young master will start to worry. Elena entered a state that she would scare the shit out of anyone and gazed with an empty and increasingly darker gaze outside the window.

*DING*

- Hey bitch! Are you done with your task yet? Our beloved is waiting for you to finish your task, your whore.

A voice suddenly came from Elena's breasts.

Elena who heard the voice snapped out of her daze, put her hand between her breasts and took out a phone.

She looked at the alarm screen she had previously set up and turned the alarm off.

*SIGH*

Sighing, Elena stopped and stood still for a minute to recompose herself. She was going to call her beloved young master and she doesn't want to call him in such a state.

*INHALE*

*EXHALE*

After a little more than a minute, she picked her phone and was ready to call him.

When suddenly,

<Now, I think it's time for me to start to have everything ready. Hong Li-Wei is already done with her job. She is really dependable. I hope she resolves herself so we can have something more than friendship and a business relationship. Elena, my honey should also be done with what I asked her.>

Elena suddenly stopped and quickly snapped her head and started to look around the room.

Her eyes narrowed and she looked at every single detail in the room.

She even used magic that let her see through the walls and scanned through the whole mansion.

After a couple of seconds, she concluded that her young master wasn't in the vicinity nor was her phone already in call with his.

She looked back at her phone and waited.

<However… Elena is taking longer than usual to call me. Did something happen?>

She once again heard her young master's voice inside her head but this time she also felt a tinge of worry with it.

Elena's brain started to process everything that happened in this short minute at full speed.

First thing first, she is somehow hearing her young master without him being near her or being in call with her. The possible answers are:

1- She is crazy (not the craziness she already had);

2- She got something, an ability, magic or anything, that let her hear her young master unrelated to the distance they are from each other;

3- Someone is using her young master's voice;

4- Another option which she didn't think yet.

The third option is impossible since there is no one close enough to her in this mansion for her to hear them.

The last one is improbable since the first three covers most if not all plausible and most likely scenarios.

This leaves the other two.

She knows that she is crazy, very much so. But she also knows that her craziness is only for her young master and not for her mentality in general, this means that she isn't crazy enough to hear voices inside her head.

Then this would make the second one the most probable.

However, how come?

She suddenly gained something that allowed her to hear her young master without using any external means or doing anything?

Where was this ability in the previous years she spent with her young master?

Couldn't it have arrived sooner?

Elena shook her head.

Although this is a possibility since this is a novel's world and hence, she is yet to see or hear something she deems as too absurd, she still needs more proofs before drawing a conclusion.

Elena suddenly felt the phone in her hand vibrating.

She looked at the caller's ID and saw it written "Young Master".

Elena didn't even had time to think before she picked the call.

"Young master, I deeply apologize for making you have to call me. I have finished your task."

While Elena said this, her mind was working at full speed after she heard the voice inside her head and her young master called her right after.

It was too much of a coincidence and timing to her liking.

The second option is looking more and more plausible by the moment. However, it's still early to take it as the truth.

"Hon, forget my task, are you okay?" She heard her young master worried tone and instantly she felt sweet inside.

She raised her leg and kicked Jin Nuo into the wall right when she woke up after fainting and was going to scream again.

*BAM*

"Yes, young master. I'm absolutely fine. Not even a scratch on my body." She replied with a small smile on her face.

"…" Her young master said nothing for a few seconds.

Elena who heard this voice inside her head suddenly stiffened.

"That's good. Now, come back soon. I want to spend some quality time with my waifu~"

'It was the second option.'

Elena thought while feeling a mix of embarrassment and shock.

So, what do you guys think about this chapter? Was it too hasty to make Elena realize about the "eavesdrop" or not? I particularly did this because I was owning you guys this since some chapters ago (bar, the start of the novel), so I thought it was enough of setting things up and decided to start with this part not wasting much time on the heroines realizing that they can hear MC's voice inside their heads.

Of course, they will come to this conclusion due to some motives and most will be more on the logical side.

Personally, I liked her more like this instead of just a pure and cute woman as she had shown herself most of the time until now.
