12 M'gann M'orzz

A couple of months flew by. It was already March.

Lamar spent most of his time with Booster Gold and Shazam if they were on watchtower duty.

Martian Manhunter wasn't in the Watchtower; he left a while back on a trip to Mars. Lamar did not know when the Martian would return

Superman learned that Lamar had laser beams from Shazam and was shocked. The hero didn't have much time on his hands.

Nevertheless, when he was in the Watchtower, he would teach Lamar about his powers and how they worked.

Lamar learned many interesting things from Superman.

Such as how he crashed landed on earth as a child, and how he got stronger from absorbing energy from the sun.

Talking to Superman filled some gaps in his head. He remembered how he fought the Green blob and felt like he was getting stronger slowly but surely. He informed Superman of this.

Superman responded, "We are very similar in physiology. So your powers would probably work the same way."

"You're likely right," replied Lamar.

"Aye, maybe you can help me learn how to aim my laser beams? I need some more tips," asked Lamar.

Superman contemplated for a second and answered, "I could spare some time. Also, I call it heat vision."

Hours went by while Superman helped Lamar fire his heat vision.

Both Superman and Lamar quickly turned around hearing something inside the Watchtower.

"What is that?" Asked Lamar.

"Martian Manhunter has returned from mars but it seems he brought someone else along," replied Superman Looking through multiple walls with his x-ray vision.

'Who is with Manhunter?' thought Lamar kind of interested in who it was.

"Let's go greet Him," Superman suggested while he walked out of the gym heading towards the hanger bay.

Lamar followed closely behind.

The hangar doors opened up giving Lamar a good view of the Hightech Martain ship hovering over the ground. the ship morphed into what Lamar can only describe as a ball before gently landing on the ground.

The back of the ship extended out creating a flat surface for whoever was in the ship to come out.

Martain Manhunter walked out of the ship with a rather displeased expression on his face. Floating not far behind him was a red-haired girl with green skin.

'That's the first time I've ever seen him look like that.' thought Lamar.

The Martian Manhunter and Superman walked towards each other shaking hands.

"Glad to have you back J'onn," said Superman while shaking The Martian's

hand.

"Aye, Martian Manhunter," said Lamar waving.

"It feels good to be back replied" Jonn Jonzz in a deep voice.

The two heroes talked with each other for a bit. Superman chose not to ask about the girl until j'onn j'onzz introduced her. The green girl remained behind the Martian Manhunter. Most likely shy.

"who is the girl behind you?" asked Lamar.

"She is my niece. Introduce yourself." j'onn j'onzz answered, encouraging his niece to introduce herself.

"Hello, my name is M'gann M'orzz. You can call me Megan if you want," She said looking at Lamar shy.

"My name is Lamar. It's nice to meet ya," replied Lamar.

"Aye, do you want to tour the base?" asked Lamar.

"Oh, sure I would love that," Megan replied. Floating near Lamar.

"Can I take her around the base?" asked Lamar towards the adults.

"Yes do not cause trouble," Superman replied before talking with Martain Manhunter.

"Follow me," replied Lamar walking out of the hanger with Magan floating closely behind him.

"Where to first?" asked Megan.

"The cafeteria I'm starving," answered Lamar. He knew that since he was an alien. His appetite would be larger than everybody else, but it was starting to get annoying at this point.

They reached the cafe.

"Oh, the Cafeteria how amazing!" voiced Megan excitedly.

"Really? What's so special about it?" replied Lamar grabbing a large plate of food and sitting down.

"I've seen Cafes in Earth TV shows never thought I would be in one!" answered Megan.

She flew around the area touching everything that caught her eye and would ask Lamar what some of the contraptions would do.

After eating his fill he showed her around the Watchtower and started to get to know her more. Megan was very bright and fun to hang around she was also extremely interested in Earth's cultures and would ask a question about it.

Lamar couldn't answer since he doesn't know much about earth himself. Being on the planet for a couple of months and most of that time spent in space.

"I don't know much about earth. I'm an alien too and just got here," answered Lamar.

"Oh really?' asked Megan.

"yea."

"Hello, Megan! I'm sorry for not asking beforehand

I should not assume things." Megan replied

smacking her head lightly.

"No biggie," replied Lamar while watching Megan sincerely apologize.

"Maybe we can learn Earth culture together? if you don't mind," asked Megan with some hope in her voice.

"I don't mind," answered Lamar walking forward.

"Really! We can watch tons of Earth movies!" said Megan doing a couple of tricks in the air.
