Definitely a dream(corrected)

'Phew, fortunately, my magic circuits are mostly healed, otherwise, it would have been impossible to launch an electric javelin.' -Thought Mark, as he saw the minotaur that was about to attack the girl disappear.

He had passed through several corridors when he heard voices, but he never expected it to be Bell with what he assumed were his companions.

'Heavy breathing'

"M-Mark is that you? What are you doing here?" -Bell asked confused but happy to see him.

"Less talk and more action, Goliath is about to be reborn, we need to hurry." -Said Mark quickly.

He had already wasted time catching up with them and in less than five minutes the boss would be reborn.

"Alright Mark, but I need your help. I'm already carrying two of my companions, I don't think I could walk with three. I know I'm asking too much, especially after you helped us, but please help me." -Bell said, bending over.

"If you beg me like this you make me look like a monster, haaaa, forget it. Since I'm already here I'll give you a hand." -Said Mark with a shrug.

Hearing Mark's words, Bell's expression lit up with happiness.

After talking to Bell, Mark quickly approached the girl and after seeing that she didn't have any injuries, he put her on his back so that his movements wouldn't be restricted.

'voice'

"Hmm? Did you say something?... maybe I imagined it." -Mark thought confused.

At first, he thought the girl had asked him something, but she looked completely unconscious. Leaving that doubt aside, he didn't know what to do with the spear that was lying on the ground. He brought his hand closer to the spear to see how heavy it was, but as soon as he touched it, the latter turned into a beam of light and then moved to the girl's wrist, becoming a bracelet.

'What the heck?'-Captured off guard, he wanted to analyze the bracelet but was interrupted by Bell who was ready to leave.

'I wonder why I still get surprised by these things, I'm in a fantasy world, I don't think it's that strange that a spear can turn into a bracelet.' -With that self-deprecating thought, he began to run along with Bell.

During the run, various thoughts swirled in Mark's head, including that strange feeling he had earlier or the reason why Bell was on the 17th floor, after all, only a madman would venture there without proper preparation.

'A fool eh...' -Mark considered that term wrong for Bell.

A person who even if exhausted was willing to carry two unconscious companions, would not be so crazy as to take them to such a dangerous place without a reason. From the size of Bell's aura, he could see that he already possessed adequate strength, so it would have been possible for him to carry on alone, but instead, he decided to take the risk to save his friends, something not everyone would be willing to do.

[Host, one minute before the boss' rebirth.]

"Shit! Bell if you still have strength, use it for the last sprint." -Mark shouted while sorpassing him. Bell could only nod, so as not to lose his breath while talking.

They had not encountered any monsters during their run and had managed to reach the entrance to the area where Goliath was born. The outline of the completed giant could be seen on the wall, while several cracks began to appear on the surface, indicating that the monster was almost born.

Mark managed to reach the other side of the room, as he still had plenty of energy and with the fact that the person he was carrying was light. Unfortunately, Bell was still in the middle of the room. His speed had increased, but carrying two people at once was limiting his mobility a lot.

'Crak!' 'Crak!' 'BAAAANG!'

'AAAAAAAH!'

As soon as time ran out, the cracks on the wall grew in size, causing it to collapse and allowing Goliath to come out and scream at full force. Bell stood slightly away and there was still some distance from the 18th-floor entrance, but he was still doing his best to run.

When Goliath saw intruders, it began to chase them and it didn't take long to catch up with them given its size. When it was close enough, it raised its fist and smashed it toward Bell.

"Bell jump forward!" -Mark shouted at him.

Not hesitating, Bell followed Mark's advice, managing to dodge the monster's giant fist, and thanks to the shock force generated, he was thrown towards the entrance, where he began to roll along with Lili and Welf, reaching the 18th floor.

"Well, it seems to have worked." -Mark said to himself.

After glancing momentarily at Goliath, he too began to make his way down, arriving at the 18th floor, where it seemed that Bell had also lost consciousness, as he was lying on the ground motionless, but the interesting thing was the person standing next to the unconscious trio.

"Aiz? I thought you were still exploring with the others." -Said Mark surprised.

"We just got back, rather, what happened here?" -She asked, as she shifted her gaze to Bell.

"I don't know much either, I just met them on the 17th floor and gave them a hand, but I don't know what the reason was that they were so deep."

"Hmm, let's take them to Riveria to see if they're okay."

They each brought two people and headed for Riveria's tent, who was surprised to see the boy who had single-handedly killed the minotaur again, but soon set to work and began treating them. The only one who needed quick treatment was Welf, because of his broken leg, while the others were almost okay, showing only signs of fatigue and the exhaustion of the Falna, which could be solved after a good rest.

All there was to do was wait for them to wake up, so that they would know what had happened.

The period I hated the most in my day, was when I slept. Each time I would find myself in a completely dark space, walking intermittently in a random direction without even knowing where I was going. According to Al, the reason was that having lost my memories, my brain was trying to find a way to remember, but since I had regained consciousness, nothing had changed, at least until now.

'A door? '

After walking for who knows how long a door appeared before me. With some hesitation, I reached for the handle and turned it and as soon as the door opened, the view around me changed.

I was now standing on what looked like an altar inside a magnificent building, but it wasn't all clear. Some areas were not present, it was like looking at a photo with holes in it. Next to me were two dark silhouettes, one in the middle of the altar, while the other was in front of me.

"######"

"###"

The silhouette on the altar turned to the one in front of me and asked him something, but I couldn't understand the question or how he answered. Then the figure on the altar turned to me and asked me something, but I still couldn't understand what he was saying.

"#####"

"Yes I do." -Those words came out of my mouth, but the voice sounded different.

At that point, the figure in front of me took a ring from the altar and put it on the ring finger of my left hand and my body did the same.

'An altar, exchange of rings, no matter how you look at it, this is a wedding.' -Even though I had understood what was happening, there was nothing I could do and the ceremony proceeded.

"#####"

When what I presumed to be the priest, closed the book in his hand, me and the figure in front of me approached.

'W-wait a minute!' -I began to fidget.

Our faces were so close that I could feel the warmth of the person in front of me and when ours were about to touch...

"I said wait a minute!"

"Eeeek!"

"Huh?" -Looking around still with a throbbing heart, I realized I was inside a tent, but at the moment my head was full of confusion to reason.

"S-sorry if I startled you, I thought you were still sleeping. From the way you were shaking I thought you were sick." -Said the black-haired girl who had screamed out in fright from my abrupt awakening.

'Injuries?... Right! We were exploring when the accident happened.' -Now fully awake, memories of before I fainted flooded my head.

"Are my companions okay?!" -I asked quickly, as my worry rose.

"Don't worry, they're fine. They woke up a while ago too, they are currently in the tent next door, if you want I'll accompany you." -She said smiling at me.

"Haaaa, thank you." -Knowing that they were all fine, calmed my heart.

"No need to thank me, I wasn't the one who treated you, but are you sure you're alright? While you were sleeping you were shaking a lot and your face is red." -She said worriedly.

Realizing what she was referring to, I felt my body heat rising. The memory alone was enough to make me feel embarrassed.

"I-it's nothing don't worry, it was just a strange dream ha-ha-ha." -I told her with a forced laugh.

'Yes it was definitely a dream.' -With that conviction, I followed the girl to regroup me with the others.
