~Baby Steps

The next day, Heiyoung got up early in the morning to get ready, though she didn't have access to a proper shower she tried her best to clean herself with water from the sinks of public bathrooms and wearing her cleanest clothes.

It might sound horrible and disgusting but she had no choice than to deal with it, she had anxiety on meeting new people, especially people that weren't...'uses to the poor life'. What would they think of her and her clothes? will they look down on her in pity? Those were the questions that clogged up her mind every second of the day!

After a long morning of getting ready, Heiyoung finally pulled herself to the big doors of the building which was previously mentioned to her by Jin, just staring at the entrance gave her cold chills, it looked so professional! Clenching her jaws, she took a step forward then a step back, back and forth she went, doubting herself then gaining a tiny bit of confident. Soon after Heiyoung realised that the nearby pedestrians were starting to stare at her, blushing and telling herself she could do this, she took a deep breath and finally walked in to the building.

Lifting her head, Heiyoung's eyes landed on a big sign which read "Big Hits Entertainment. Co", the interior design of the building was one of the coolest and most modern places Heiyoung had ever seen. Her jaw was dropped and she was completely spellbound, did she really just hit the jackpot, it was way more clean and pretty than the pubs and bars she had worked at.

Nearby, in the corner of her eye, Heiyoung saw a huge poster of a group of boys, when she took a closer look, she discovered that it was the group of boys she met yesterday.

Suddenly a deep male voice broke her from her trance, "Excuse me Miss, may I help you with something!" said a tall middle-aged man.

" Oh sorry, um... I'm looking for those boys!" said Heiyoung while pointing at the big poster,

"Ah, another fangirl I see!" said the man sighing and shaking his head, " Miss, please may you leave, the boys are busy and this isn't a fan meet..." but suddenly a much youthful and kinder voice interrupted their conservation.

"Sorry uncle Joon, she is with us!" said the unexpected voice, both Heiyoung and the man turned around in wonder, it was Jungkook, he smiled and quickly took Heiyoung's hand, " Thank you uncle but we will first take our leave, have a good day!"

Before the man said anything else, Jungkook gently pulled her away, " Oh thanks for saving me, you are Jimin right? and where are we going?" asked Heiyoung excitingly while they kept on walking.

"I'm not Jimin, I'm Jungkook and we are going to meet the other up stairs" said Jungkook. Heiyoung noticed he had gone a bit red in the cheeks while talking, maybe he felt a little sick thought Heiyoung to herself.

"Okay, but why did they send you to come fetch me!" asked Heiyoung

"I'm the maknae, i do what my elders say." answered Jungkook with a smile.

THEY ARE TREATED AND CONSIDERED AS THE BABY OF THE GROUP(in a good

way...sometimes)!!!

They took the elevator which Jungkook was surprised and confused to see that Heiyoung was super excited to go on,"What was so exciting about an elevator" he thought deeply to himself. Secretly she was a little sad when she didn't get to push the buttons since this was her first time riding an elevator. Soon they had reached their floor, the 5th floor to be exact, there was a stillness in the air when Heiyoung stepped out of the elevator, quiet but peaceful.

Jungkook swiftly lend her to a big birch door, she hesitated for a moment and it took her some time to convince her brain to not have another annoying anxiety attack, Heiyoung suddenly noticed Jungkook's eyes were locked on hers, waiting patiently for her. "SHIT! this is embarrassing!" was what was raced through her mind while on the other hand, a tiny chuckle of laughter came out Jungkook's mouth as he gave her his most calming smile.

To avoid anymore embarrassment, Heiyoung broke the formidable silence by suddenly pulling Jungkook who was not prepared at all for the unforeseen actions and nearly tripping in the haste.

Taking the lead, she barged straight into the room, not giving a second thought on who could potentially be waiting for her!

She stopped! It was the boys BUT with a man...

Heiyoung looked back at the door, hoping to find a way out but instead, she saw a clearly noticeable sign that somehow she didn't notice, written on it in big black letters was 'CEO's office'.

Now she regretted ever stepping into the build, nobody told her she was going to meet the CEO of this impressive company that she STILL didn't know what it is that they did! Not even counting the fact that this guy could be a wealthy, sly and judgemental man who would look down at Heiyoung as a low-life peasant!

Heiyoung literally wanted to turn around and run away but she suddenly felt the warm comforting shoulder of Jungkook, nudging her back to reality. Was it really that easy to tell that she was nervous thought Heiyoung embarrassingly, while sighing and readying herself to meet this CEO guy!
