Edmund just looked at him, showing no sign of any kind of emotion.

The silence was broken by Elisha's comment, which made Cecil swipe his attention to her. "You!"

Although she had teased him before and clearly had the upper hand in this situation, a strange and unfamiliar fear rose in her heart as she saw Daniel approaching her step by step.

"Ha ha," She tried to turn off this unnecessary feeling and regain control. "Vice president, why don't you treat our dear guest with your usual hospitality?"

The alarmed president threw a fireball at him at top speed without worrying about them being inside a closed compound. To his astonishment, Daniel turned it off with a wave of his hand.

Everything could end here as long as Elisha would give up, they could go back to the village and live a great life away from everyone.

At any other time, Cecil would have taken revenge on Edmund's behalf immediately for such humiliating words, but now she revealed to him information she was not supposed to reveal.
