Half an hour later, everyone was seated in their places. The guests were on one side, while You Weimin, Cole, and the in-laws were on the other. At this time, the stage was set as a host entered and stood at the center.

Even though everything was arranged by Yu Weimin, the in-laws also brought their own people to entertain. The host was one of them.

"So she'll tell you instead?"

Suddenly, Cole's smile vanished without a trace. He stared at Yu Weimin with such an intense expression for a second that the latter felt a chill go down his spine. After that, the man's expression returned to normal as he smiled.

Yu Weimin slightly squinted his eyes at that. The two of them stared at one another for a moment. At this time, the atmosphere had a subtlety that even Yu Weimin couldn't realize. For some reason, he felt his heart thudding slightly after being stared at by Cole with such a gaze.

How did he not notice this person was such a smooth talker? He thought the man only knew how to speak nonsense all day!

As soon as the host stepped down the stage, the curtains fell from the ceiling onto the round stage. When the curtain was lifted, a man dressed in red stood there in a dancing stance. After that, the Omega started moving his limbs gracefully. There was a fan on one of his hands that added to his beauty.

Just then, Yu Weimin heard the scoffing from the side. "Such bullsh*t! I don't find anything lovely about this Omega."

Just when they were sitting leisurely, a servant came running from the back room and bent over to Yu Weimin. His face was pale as he offered a letter to the man.

Yu Weimin opened the letter and saw familiar handwriting.

"Dear brother, I know you care about me, but I don't want to get married to someone I know nothing about. So I'm running away with my boyfriend. I'll get married to him, and once you calm down, I'll return to you. Until then, farewell. I'll be back. Yours only, Raven."

Yu Weimin stared at the letter for a moment before folding it nicely and steadily without any expression on his face.

This must be Cole's work. The villain might have lured the lady into running away with someone else by indicating that her brother would be angry. But he only knew that he was nothing but happy. Didn't it mean that the female lead was finally out of the picture?!

Cole finally did something to destroy the plot by himself!

The dance finally ended as the host took the stage again. He smiled evilly and stared in Yu Weimin's direction.

"Mr. Oliver, we have a pleasant surprise for you. Can you come on stage?"

Yu Weimin raised his brows. Here it starts! This wasn't a simple engagement ceremony anymore.
