15 A Male Venus

However, the man is oblivious to Yuan Ge's gaze and just stares at him with those big, empty, unfocused eyes, while holding on to his hand tightly. Only then did Yuan Ge notice that he has a white silk scarf wrapped around his neck, with bright red strangulation marks underneath, exactly like the way his protagonist, Rong Qing, had died!

What the hell is going on here!

Yuan Ge feels a chill down his spine and his scalp tingling. But as a staunch atheist, Yuan Ge firmly believes that "there is no ghost in the world, but ghosts are born from the heart", so how can this person in front of him, who resembles Rong Qing so much, be real? It must be because he has been so immersed in writing that he begun to hallucinate. Perhaps the most plausible explanation is that this man is a Cosplayer. Judging from the age, he is either a high school or a university student. Perhaps he has heard somewhere that a film is being made in this old mansion, so he tried to get the director's attention by cosplaying in an ancient costume to get himself a part in the film.

Young people nowadays are so determined that they will do anything for a hobby, even unafraid of freezing to death in the middle of the night! How immature!

Yuan Ge thus makes a judgement and came to this conclusion about the unusual scene in front of him.

"Hey kid, are you trying to cosplay Rong Qing from my film? Come on, get up, you're going to freeze to death if you keep lying here. Just let go of my hand and go home, or I can call an ambulance for you if you need it."

However, the boy remains unresponsive to Yuan Ge's questions. His unfocused eyes stare blankly into the darkness, seemingly completely unable to see or hear. He keeps shivering with a hoarse choking sound coming out of his mouth, but he seems to be unable to form a complete sentence, both hands still clinging to Yuan Ge's hand, not letting him go.

Yuan Ge waves his other hand in front of him a few times and notices that the boy is just staring straight ahead as if he is blind.

This is impossible! How can a cosplayer not be able to see? Is he showing off his acting skills or something?

Although his miserable appearance makes Yuan Ge feel sympathetic towards him, it is still annoying to be pestered by such a strange boy in the middle of the night. Yuan Ge stands up and tries to get away from him, but the boy seems determined and refuses to let go, therefore he is pulled up to his feet by Yuan Ge.

"Hey, enough is enough!"

Yuan Ge finally loses his patience and reaches out to push him away on the shoulder. But just as he and the boy are wrestling together, the elegant-looking white silk robe the boy is wearing suddenly crumbles into pieces and falls to the ground, then being swept up by a gust of wind and blown away without a trace. In the moonlight, the boy in front of him is instantly naked, revealing his jade-like body, even his private parts are exposed.

Yuan Ge is completely stunned. He doesn't know where to put his eyes. Even though he doesn't want to look, this boy's naked body is right in front of him and he simply cannot miss it. His well-proportioned body makes Yuan Ge feel that if there is a male version of Venus in this world, it would probably look like this boy right in front of him.

The boy still seems unable to see, yet he too feels his nakedness and hurriedly lets go of one hand, trying to use it to desperately cover his private parts, but the other hand still clings to Yuan Ge firmly. The red hue at the end of his eyes becomes brighter, and large teardrops flow from his eyes, as clear as crystal. He looks like a pear blossom in the rain, sobbing silently, a pained expression mixed with extreme shyness that makes the hearts of all who see him ache.
