Chen Family - Chapter 11
"haaaaah"[Damian breathed out as finished his cultivation system before standing and stretching his sore legs]
"I've already open five major meridians"[said Damian as he clenched his fist]"why am I cultivating so quickly all of a sudden Hope?"[asked Damian because only a week had passed since his conversation with hope]
(that's because you unexpectedly beat your inner demon, your cultivation has become smoother and easier hence why its faster)[explained Hope]
Thinking for a while about what happened, he suddenly felt a bit thankful towards what happened and felt his back covered in cold sweat while imagining the consequences of having an inner demon.
Walking out of the cave to look for Kie-er to see her progress before they finally left. Expecting to find her on the shore practicing her sword man ship, he was confused when he couldn't find her and started searching everywhere for her. Growing more solemn as time passed, Damian sped up as he ran through the forest before he heard laughing and nieghing, before he sped towards the sound.
"hahaha"[laughed Kie-er as she was chased around by the baby Cloud Stepping horse while its mother stood in the distance and watch]
Damian could feel several veins on his head throbbing as he watched this scene before letting out a loud and lengthy sigh alerting everyone to his existence. Deciding it's no longer any use hiding he walked toward the group as Kie-er ran to his side with a smile. Seeing her smile Damian found it hard to scold her, reaching out to pat her head.
"why didn't you tell me that you're leaving, I was worried about you"[said Damian]
"I was practicing when I met cloud and he was on his own so I followed him, I...maybe....forgot to tell you, but don't worry I'm not the same defenseless little girl anymore"[said Kie-er while patting her bulging chest in a reasuring manner causing Damian to smile wryly as she had the same cultivation as him, actually already opening her sixth meridian before he turned to the mother]
"you're still hurt" [said Damian with a frown as she nodded her head as she watched her child seemingly contemplating something]
Damian saw the thoughtful look on her face and didn't say anything
"Kie-er and I are leaving, so we came to say goodbye"[ Damian noticed the reluctant look on Kie-er's face as kissed her on her cheek before giving her a gentle smile]

2 figures could he seen walking towards a a large city, capable of holding several million people. Damian was in awe as he starred at the massive walls surrounding the city as he walked closer and the massive gate that had the words Dawn City wrote on it.
The walls were a hundred meters tall and at least 200 meters thick, they seemed to grow more imposing the closer you got.
Kie-er laughed at Damians reaction causing him to laugh awkwardly before pulling him into the line by the gate so they could enter the city .
Kie-er started at the walls and her eyes started to glaze over as she recalled her life within these walls from the time she could remember and how much her life happened to change in just 5 months. Before she felt a hand grab hers awaking her from her thoughts before she looked at the boy who she decided to devote her life to as she stared at his smile.
When it was finally their turn, the guards at the gate stared at the duo before a glint went through their eyes when they saw Kie-er, when one stepped forward and spoke. Damian assumed he was the captain.
"10 silver per person to enter the city" [said the guard while holding out his hand to the both of them]
Damian raised an eyebrow at the price and started to take out the silver not wanting to cause any unnecessary trouble and draw any attention to themselves before he knew the whole picture of the city.
"wha....what 10 silver? it's 1 silver for the both of us since when did the price raise by so much"[asked Kie-er as he small figure trembled in anger at the situation]
Causing Damian to pause his actions as he stared deeply at the guard waiting for an explanation as his eyes narrowed dangerously.
"the price of 500 bronze is for citizens while 10 silver is for suspicious individuals like yourselves. So after you pay, the boy can go through and you will step to the side so my men and I can thoroughly search you for suspicious items"[replied the guard with a lecherous gaze as his men chuckled and surrounded us]
"pay and leave boy before I break your legs"[said one of the other guards as they totally disregarded Damian]
hahahahahahahaha"[Damian started laughing making everyone look in their direction]
"what're you laughing at brat"[growled the captain as he stepped towards Damian intending to teach him a lesson]
"you said you'll do what to who's woman?"[asked Damian as he continued laughing but killing iintent started leaking from him]
The captain laughed as he reached out at Damian completely disregarding his killing intent as he intended to cripple the boy with his strength which was at Stage 5 body refinement, before having fun with his girl. The guard got hard at the thought of pinning Kie-er beneath him and making her cry out.
just as he was about to reach Damian a light flashed and blood flew before any of the guards or crowd could react the guards head slid off his shoulders, disbelief still clear on his face.
Damian turned his head as stared at the panting Kie-er still holding her sword as her face started to pale as she stared at the guards body before he pulled Kie-er into his embrace before asking softly.
"are you okay?"
"I....i....when I saw him about to attack you I...just lost control and-[said Kie-er as tears threatened to fall out her eyes]
"silly girl they're our enemies, being nice to our enemies is being hard on ourselves. If we didn't have strength it'd be us on the ground so never hesitate to slay your enemy because they won't hesitate to do worse to you, now rest I'll take care of the rest"[said Damian as he stroked her hair before taking her sword as slashing out several times before he held Kie-er and and walked through the gate leaving the dumbstruck crowd. Before several gasps were heard as the guards fell into several pieces in a bloody pile, making couple people look in the direction that Damian walked.

A man could be seen running through a corridor before he knocked on a door and entered a large room before kneeling to the people present.
"you better have a good reason for barging in here when I'm having a meeting"[demanded a deep voice]
"Patriarch Chen the young miss is back.
