Cain calmly shielded Panchy and Tights in his embrace not knowing about the affect his beauty along with his actions had on the duo inside his embrace as his muscular arms and warm embrace was a impressionable visual as they watched his white hair blow in the wind while he was internally confused as to why his Ki was red

[ from your memories there seem to be no distinct reason why different people have different colored Ki and throughout the story someone's Ki was seen to be changed. Yours might change as well and by my observation yours seems to be getting darker ] pondered Xavia before she gave her ideas to Cain

Nodding his head at her words he turned his attention to the duo in his arms and spoke in as gentle a tone as he could manage

" are you okay? " asked Cain when he noticed they were staring at his face in a daze which caused him to chuckle finally bringing the duo from their reverie making them blush in embarrassment when they noticed their actions and left his embrace reluctantly to which Cain noticed

" we-we're fine " coughed Panchy as she started to regain her calm while trying her hardest not to stare into his eyes but the same couldn't be said for Tights as she practically had stars in her eyes as she swung his hands

" wow!!!! that was so cool!!! how did you do that? do you have powers? do you work for the government? " Tights peppered him with questions to which Cain calmly answered with a slight smile on his face which confused Xavia who's never seen him make an expression like that, she was wondering if he knew he was making it. She calmly watched their interaction while lost in her thoughts

" I could teach you how to do it if you'd like as an apology for my previous mistake " said Cain as he 'genuinely' replied startling Panchy. When he saw her reaction he calmly made a Ki sphere which caused Panchy to pale slightly when she saw it's color and couldn't help but grab tights as she stepped back in fear

Cain calmly watched her actions with the same smile on his face as he slowly walked towards the duo which further scared Panchy as she pulled tights behind her as if knowing she couldn't escape even if she ran. When he stood before them he slowly raised his arm and reached out towards Panchy, when she saw his actions she closed her eyes and waited for the impact only to suddenly feel a large warm hand on her face which startled her

She looked at him confused and noticed the same smile on his face and she noticed that the look in his eyes changed as she looked at him complicatedly. Noticing her expression Cain started sending a small amount of Ki into her brain calming her agitated emotions

" no one can hurt you when I'm here " said Cain softly but you could hear the pride that laced his voice as he stared into her eyes which caused Panchy to blush and try to look away only to fail as he held her face

Tights watched their interaction and a glint flashed in her eyes as she walked forward and grabbed his free hand to which no one noticed but Xavia who was intrigued and was curious about her thoughts. Panchy suddenly saw his expression change and become impassive as he looked in a certain direction, completely different to the beautiful smile he just had making her annoyed at whoever caused him to change and looked in the same direction

To which she saw her husband covered in dust and soot as he made his way toward them as fast as he could which made the duo blush in shame when they finally remembered him they only woke from their thoughts when that comfortable warmth disappeared and they noticed that Cain stepped back and had his hands in his pockets as he watched them expressionlessly which further annoyed the duo as they looked at their Husband/father in irritation as he embraced them as asked if they were injured

Making Cain internally wonder if they were actually related or not. Cain looked at Dr. Brief in disdain when he noticed that his pants was on wrong as his belt was hitched up and he couldn't help but wonder if the sex bot survived his Ki blast as it destroyed a large portion of the compound as he looked around his was brought out of his thoughts when he felt someone grab him which made him look around which made him confused before she looked down and saw Dr. Brief shaking his hand and thanking him

Deciding to humor the man since he might need him to build a ship for him to leave only for his expression to suddenly turn cold and the atmosphere to become tense when he felt something slimy on the hand that was holding his own which instantly brought his mind back to scene that he heard making him start to lose it

[ don't kill him, you need him ] shouted Xavia in his mind when she felt his Ki flare up which made Cain pause and take his arms and put them behind his back after shaking his hand before he release a breath before he spoke

" there's no need to thank me Dr, I'd protect them even if it cost me my life " replied Cain calmly but if you looked closely you'd noticed a noticeable tremble in his hands as and a red aura flashed on his hands from time to time

Turning towards Panchy and Tights his smiled slightly at them before he spoke once more

" I have something to do right now, I'll stop by tomorrow to visit you " returning to his normal expressionless face he nodded to Brief before he disappeared from the spot shooting through the clouds as he used his KI on his arms causing steam to rise from them, thinking it not to be enough he mentally decided to skin his palms when he entered his inner world

[ why did you suddenly become so gentle towards them? ] asked Xavia when she could no longer resist the urge to ask

' she reminded me of someone ' replied Cain after a while

[ so that's why you didn't kill them when she started to back up from you ] murmured Xavia when she remembered his killing intent when Panchy showed fear towards him

' don't misunderstand, she would have died if she didn't protect Tights like she did changing my impression of her ' replied Cain as visions of people abandoning each other in an emergency before a certain scene flashed in his mind causing him to involuntarily smile making Xavia smile as she didn't know his past since he didn't let her see it

' one day I'll learn everything about you Cain ' thought Xavia
