Chapter 1

I highkey respect those who says the first day of school is the best day.

I had like the worst first day at school ever. I'm a new student at SOPA, I changed to this school along with my bestfriend from kindergarten until high school, Han Jisung. We also have the same family name lmao. I'm Han Ji Yoo, a 00'liner. I live with my grandma, while my parents work overseas. I live near Jisung's house too, so we would go to school together, and hang out too.

Okay so... my first day at school WAS REALLY bad. Lemme tell you.

-REWIND-

"Yah Jisung ah! Do you think we'll make many friends?" I asked Jisung.

"Don't worry Yoo Ah, it takes time too" He said and put his hand over my shoulder. While walking all girls were whispering and fangirling because Jisung is really good looking and cute too, so I'm not surprised. Anyways we walked into the office for information of our classroom, then the principal called out a female student and a male student who are so-called old students who are familiar with the school the most.

So...the guy who led me was quite good looking but he's a jerk. He was supposed to hand out my schedule and guide me about the school instead he just walked and walked and walked for hours, without explaining anything to me until I asked.

"Excuse me, I really don't know were we are or what this place is because you're not saying anything, can you bring me to class now? I think we're late" I said politely.

"Are you guiding me or am I guiding you?" He asked rudely.

"If you're going to be this rude I'll just find the class myself." I said angrily and snatched the schedule paper from him. I was turning back suddenly he pulled my hand and hugged me. I couldn't help but blush a little because I was facing his chest. Yes, I'm short.

Then when he pushed me away slowly and said, " Watch were you're going next time"

"What do you mean, why did you hug me?!" I shouted back. Then he pointed at the puddle of milk on the floor. "What? Who did that? What did I even do? Is it you who tried to hurt me?" I asked him. "At least say, 'Hyunjin, thank you for helping me' don't be so ungrateful" He said. "I don't thank jerks" I said and walked away.

-NOW-

I walked back home with Jisung and was still kind of shy about what happened today and also mad.

"Yah! What's wrong with you?"

" I-I don't know"

"What do you mean you don't know?" He stopped walking and pinched my cheeks.

"Gosh something happened at school today, I even got scolded for being late to class, so I was punished to copy some extra lessons, and something even more terrible happened" I said and looked at him with puppy eyes.

"Spill the beans" He said.

I told him everything and then he just bursted out loud, "WHAT??? YOU ALREADY HAVE A BOYFRIEND ON YOUR FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL?!"

I slapped his arm and ran away to go home.
