In the heart of the forest and the untamed wilderness, Layla stood alone against a formidable green-scaled dragon, its massive body coiling and uncoiling with a fluid grace that belied its immense power.
The dragon's scales shimmered with a menacing light, a vivid contrast against the dark underbrush of the forest. Its eyes, deep and piercing, locked onto Layla with a predatory gaze, promising a battle of life and death.
As Layla looked at the monster, she saw the green scale dragon staring down at her, looking hungry as it drooled at her; it dripped down onto the ground, its teeth showing to her.
" Fuck" she said as she saw the dragon getting ready to attack as its gold eyes glared down at her.

Layla regretted that her Appraisal wasn't high enough to get her more detail of the monster, as her eyes caught sight of a blur coming down at her as she dodged quickly. As the ground broke in its place, it was the dragon's tail, her face pale at the impact.
" I'm going to die again if it attacks again... I don't have a chance but to fight." Layla grabs a stick on the ground, using it as a staff.
Layla, with only a basic grasp of her magical abilities, felt a surge of adrenaline course through her veins. Her heart pounded in her chest, a mix of fear and determination fueling her resolve. She knew facing a dragon, incredibly one as powerful as the creature before her, was beyond reckless. Yet, the circumstances had left her with no choice.
' I'm going to survive no matter what.'
The dragon roared, a sound that shook the ground and sent birds fleeing into the sky. Flames licked the corners of its mouth, casting eerie shadows across Layla's determined face. She clutched a sturdy stick, the only weapon she could find, her green eyes blazing with a courage that matched the inferno before her.
As the sound of her heart bumping and slightly sweating...
Then, the battle began...
The dragon takes the initiative fast, as its tail whips towards Layla with the speed of a striking snake. Layla dove to the side, the rough bark of the forest floor scraping against her skin. Even though it hurts, she manages to dodge.
Layla rolled to her feet, only to see the dragon's massive head swooping down, jaws agape. She ducked quickly, feeling the rush of air as the dragon's teeth snapped shut inches above her. Sweat dripping down from her, and maybe blood, too.
' Fuck, that almost got me!'
Layla realized that brute force would not win this fight. Thinking deeply, trying to remember anything before the fight starts, she remembers her stats...
' That right!!'
She must use her agility; her only advantage would have to suffice because it seems like dragon sizes would be a disadvantage in speed. Her eyes scan the area, seeing what to do as the dragon watches her. Then the mystery blue screen appeared as it said

Layla bit her lower lip, thinking the system was making fun of her, but looking up, she saw a sparking red dot near the dragon's right eye.
' that might be its weakness... I think I got an idea,' she thought intensely, thinking she got an idea of what to do, moving a bit back as she used her mana to increase the speed of her feet as she began to dart between the trees, using the dense foliage as cover, trying to find an opening, any weakness in the dragon's defense—the dragon, growing increasingly frustrated, as it roar as it opens its mouth as it begins to unleash jets of green flame from its mouth toward her.
" Shit!? I forgot it can breathe fire!" she yelled as the flames set the forest alight with its magical fire that didn't consume the ancient trees but scorched the earth beneath and brushed.
Layla's body got slightly burned, and the dragon managed to stretch her as she fell backward and groaned in pain. She hissed in pain as the smell of blood and burnt flesh was in the air.
" damn it," Layla said as she painfully got up as she held her stick tightly in her hand, looking up at the dragon; it was smirking at her liking the way she was now... Weak and beaten.
' You fucking damn dragon!!!' feeling the rage burning in her.
Layla moves again; she wants to kill this dragon no matter what. Her eyes and speed try to find a way again in a daring maneuver; Layla chooses to do something dangerous as she waits for it to open its mouth again to breathe flames.
As she tried to dodge as quickly as possible, moving like a blur, she waited with sharp eyes until the dragon's head was close. The Forest Dragon began to fast as it stepped closer, seeing it in view.
She took the chance now as she jumped forward to get the dragon as its head almost hit Layla.
" Now!!! " Layla dodges the attacks; she is careful while moving fast, grabs onto its head, and lifts the stick.
" Take this!!!"
Then, with all her might, she thrust the stick forward to the face. Layla, feeling all the rage and determination to kill the dragon,
Then a spark happened; the stick in her hand began to glow, and so did her eyes. They shine brightly, imbued with the last remnants of her mana, and glowed briefly with a radiant light.
" Die, you shitty Dragon!!" she yelled as It struck the dragon's eye, the only vulnerable spot in its scale-armored visage. It roars and screams out loud as it tries to shake me off. I
The beast reared back with an agonized roar, thrashing wildly as it tried to dislodge the makeshift weapon. She holds onto the hirn as blood sprays out from its eyes and digs deeper into its eye; Layla holds on, the panting and groaning in pain, holds this moment.
She channeled her fledgling magic, focusing on the stick, feeling the pain in her body as it drained to the stick, urging it to do the impossible.
" I won't give up!" she yelled as the dragon tried to get her off while blood dripped down from her and her hand hurting, but she wouldn't give up so easily.
Layla pushed the stick deeper into its eyes, and more blood poured out is now looking like a blood bath; spraying onto her and everywhere, Layla's eyes glowed brighter, she were growing stronger trying to survive
The glow intensified on the stick, making it more profound as it transformed by Layla's desperate magic and pierced deeper. The blood poured out onto her and the ground as the stick found its way into the dragon's brain; with a final earth-shattering bellow, the dragon collapsed.
The stick final reach to impaled into the brain. Layla jumps off as the dragon's body as it move weird and then drop and begins to convulse before it falls to the ground.
" Did I kill it?" She mumbles Layla spits blood out of her mouth, and she watches until it dead, it stops moving. Layla started to get excited that she survived through this as she jumped.
" I did it!!" she yelled, but her body was exhausted from the intense battle, and her leg started to get worn out as she fell to the ground.
Layla was exhausted from the battle and her minor burns and cuts, as her body was covered in dragon blood and some of her as well.
" agh... My body..." she groan but smile
Layla faced a green dragon, a creature of immense strength and ferocity, and emerged alive; her spirit forged anew in the crucible of battle. Layla thought she was going to die or lose a body part.
" That was not what I expected." she laughed a little but cringed in pain as the system scene appeared in front of her again. Her eyes widen, seeing how she significantly improves from fighting that dragon.

With the points she had earned, she knew she had to make strategic choices that would aid her in her future endeavors. The allure of the higher-ranked items, spells, and skills was strong.
" They look tempting, but I need useful things," Layla mumbled
Still, she also recognized the value in acquiring a balance of abilities and tools to prepare for the vast array of challenges in this new world that would undoubtedly throw her way.
