1 Alone and Lonesome — Part 1

The day was dark, clouds engulfed all over the clear blue sky. Everything was covered in white. It was a snow storm, flowing everywhere, moving towards the west direction.

There flew a white bird in the stormy dark day, fluttering its long white wings with the wind in sync.

"Only possesses one wing".

A beautiful, huge white, snow-capped mistletoe tree standing alone in the deserted place. A girl was walking bare- foot on the snow, covered in a old, torn-off coat, with a hood, covering her whole body. She took slow steps. Her red feet sinked deeper in the snow with each step she took and there was a steel band on her left ankle.

"Unless a male and female pair lean on each other and act as one".

"They're incapable of flight".

The girl, covered in a long coat. She stopped in her path and took a long breath, which lead to her breath showing as fog come out of her mouth, her head lowered down and her red sharp horns peeked out of the hooded cloth. Pure and red as she looked at her red hand, stretching her finger out and looking at it. Blood, Blood was gushing out of the deep cuts on her fingers that was blue in color unlike the blood of humans which was red. Her fingers were completely scratched like someone had pricked on her skin. Her nails were dirty and long and if one would look at this person who had every inhuman traits would find her awful, and disgrace to one's eye.

"They're imperfect, incomplete creatures".

She felt the fluttering of the bird's wings, as the bird stretched it's long white wings making a beautiful sound. The girl looked back with her big eyes, her eye was red, and the pupil was doubled, the bigger one was a green one and the inner was a small red dot, shining brightly with it's red rays all over. As she looked back, a strong wave of the storm hit her and the ragged hood fell down, giving out the full view of her beautiful and sharp Red Horns and her pinkish hairs which floated in the air and some strands which were on her shoulders were pushed back with the heavy wind her just like a bird's wing's which were released from a cage.

As she looked back, what came in her sight, were big machines, which were dark. Colored black with blue lining all over them. It was a horde of Kalaxours which the girl stared at for a long time. The girl's hair floated in the air as she stared at those enormous machines. Suddenly there was a big blow of the cold breeze, taking all the snow with it as the girl vanished from sight.

The bird was flying, freely.

As the wind vanished, a beautiful place came in sight, with a number of white trees of cherry blossom, half covered with snow. And in that beautiful straight path between the cherry blossoms trees there walked a pair. A boy and a girl.

The boy was dressed in a blue, from the back, with dark blue hairs, and a girl, wearing red cloths, with a grey belt on her waist which ended just between her stomach, not connecting. The flowers were falling, in the pinkish way, and sky as the girl circled herself, smiling pleasantly at the boy besides her. She opened her eyes, the downer lid was highlited with a green liner as her hairs fell across her face and than down, She was wearing a cap.

"Struck me as profoundly beautiful".

"It was beautiful,

She smiled with all her might, filling her whole joy in it, as she closed her eyes again.

The land had fallen into ruin, and children represented the last hope for humanity. As the plantation was working slow, coming into vain and humanity there was near to extinction.

The sky was blue, clear and a plane was flying on the clear blue sky. It was huge, with white wide wings and a red tip at the start. It was surrounded by other small planes like it, as it moved through the sky, piercing through the white clouds.

From the window of the huge plane, a girl could be seen sitting quietly, looking outside with her eyes, green and red pupil, she was having and her face was surrounded by her long pinkish hairs.

"I wanna take a bath", She said as she looked outside through the large window beside her. In front of her, was sitting Doctor FranXX, he was a half-human and half-robot. His half ace was made of steel while other was flesh with a little amount of hair with the same coat as hers.

"Not again, Show some self-control", He denied her without looking at her. She was bending towards the window, and hearing him she sat straight on her chair and smelt her hands, which were covered in white gloves. She moved the gloves from her wrist with her nose and licked it.

Than she took out her lollipop, which she was chewing and looked at the side, asking," Hey, How do I smell?", She asked. Besides her was sitting a man, Code 081. In the plantation, each Children was represented by their code number. He was not young, wearing an oxygen mask, he was in a peaceful sleep which the girl was trying to disturb. She moved a little more closer when she heard Nana say," Let him rest", And she looked in her direction.

She walked past her and sat on the front seat next to the doctor and said," He's drained after the last battle", she was actually referring to the battle which was held to defeat gigantic machines called 'Klaxosaurs' as the girl's Partner. She was basically called the 'Partner Killer', no one was able to flight with her more than thrice and it was his second.

The doctor sighed at her attitude and said still taking a long breath and looking at his walking stick," Sheesh, What a high-maintenance girl".

They were heading towards Plantation 13. It was a dried place, like a dessert, with various labs and the main plantation's Cerasus. It was the main setting and location of the place known as Plantation 13, fixed in the ground.

"Does Plantation 13 have an ocean?", The girl asked.

"An ocean?", Nana asked.

"I wanna swin in some clear ocean water", The girl ignored her words and said. Nana sighed and replied," I'm sorry to say there's no ocean there".

"Won't a shower do?", She asked the girl.

"I'm in the mood for a swin", The girl denied her offer and told her thoughts out loud. Nana than looked at the computer screen in fron of her. It was a computer controller and said," We'll be descending shortly".

"Please sit down and buckle your seatbelts", She then instructed. Nana looked back at the girl and smiled," Let's continue this later", she said smiling. She was refering to the talk they were having just now.

The girl licked the back of her palm again and than her upper lip and than she looked outside the window saying," I hate how I taste".
