Professor Beau Edison lives to be on top of the social tier at the University of Vancouver. Not only is it satisfying, it is the only thing going for him. He hates his life as a meaningless English professor, and questions his motives of trying to fit in when it means nothing to him. His train of thought is distorted when a new semester begins, and student Victoria Montoya captivates him not with just her attractiveness, but her writing as well. He begins to find a new purpose, fantasizing about making love to her on the classroom desk, but knows his dreams will never come to fruition. That is, until one day she comes to his office and he makes the biggest leap of his life, one that could tarnish his reputation and threaten his career. Even more of a surprise, her feelings of lust are mutual. The two begin dating in secret, but the heist of their affair begins to wear on Beau when it continuously threatens his social status. More so, Victoria has a secret of her own, one that she knows her pretentious professor would never accept her for.
When the two find themselves with their truths exposed and have to answer to each other, can the two put their own reasons aside to make things work? On top of all their lies, neither of them are aware that a disgruntled professor has been watching their every move, and just waiting to use their affair to blackmail them.
