The King’s Unwilling Bride
Every girl dreams of what it would be like to be married to a king, right? The balls, the gowns, never having to work a day in your life to get money or food, everything a girl could want, right? What if you were to be given a once in a lifetime chance, to marry the king? Would you accept?
Or, would you run? What if you have no need for the glamor and glitz of palace life, and you certainly have no desire for a husband, let alone a king for one? Celeste for sure had no need for a husband, and she definitely didn't want one.
Celeste's life was simple and that's how she preferred it to be. So when she runs into the newly crowned king, unaware of who he is, she didn't expect for him to take her away from everything she knows and throw her into a world that she, and others, don't believe she belongs in.
