CLAIRE/(EMERY)
I rushed into his office after making sure no one saw me, I went to his table rummaging through the piles of documents hoping to see something.
" come on there must be something incriminating here" I muttered, I was so busy that I didn't notice when the door flew open.
"Who are you?" A deep husky voice echoed through the room, I stood still backing the intruder, actually, I was the intruder, backing the owner of the office I was searching. My mouth went dry, and my palms sweaty fully aware of who I was dealing with.
" turn around!" The voice ordered, I slowly did as he said giving the most genuine smile I could muster.
" Emery?" He asked, his eyes softened as he came closer
"Uncle!" I echoed a little too excitedly
" what brings you here?." he said staring intensely at me before taking notice of the paper in my hands, he snatched it and dropped it on the table raising his brows, I guess it's my turn to speak
" What a lovely, surprise what are you doing here? " I asked still holding my smile
" I should be asking you that, this is my office," he said in the most lowest and dangerous tone I have ever heard
" come on can't I pay my uncle a visit anymore?" I said on my tip toes placing my arms over his shoulders
"Uncle?" He asked removing my arms from his shoulder and holding it tightly as I winced struggling,
" well...isn't that what I call you..." I stuttered, did I make a mistake I mean that was what I saw in Emery's dairy she calls this idiot her uncle.
"Who are you?" He asked his eyes dark in anger, I swallowed as my heart increased in pace, and I began to contemplate on how to stop this man from suspecting me, one thing was for sure, I couldn't be caught else I would be dead meat. And I certainly do not want to die in the hands of the most dangerous mafia boss in Italy.
