Chapter 5: Mystic

After 3 hours of searching, I managed to find 3 novels I found interesting.

"Chaos Supremacy, Chronomancer, Planetary Destroyer"

In terms of power, these 3 alone have the most badass MC specially Planetary Destroyer since the mc literally ate an entire planet just to level up. Planetary Destroyer is a no-go, I don't want to be the next Thanos.

Chronomancer is a bit tempting I mean who wouldn't want to control time? But its weakness is obvious it lacks firepower there's no way I'm gonna go with this after watching the suffering from re:zero

Chaos Supremacy is a good choice not only is it versatile I can even build my own army to conquer the universe. Becoming a god won't just be a dream if I managed to get even half the power from the novel.

Oh right almost forgot for every novel I extract a flaw will be made into me. I just hope it won't turn me into some gruesome creature.

Book rank is based on how much the story developed the characters and the protagonist. An example would be is scifi is always one rank higher even if the mc is weak as the civilization is advanced there's a chance to absorb the knowledge of an entire civilization by just extracting in those genres. But the chances of that happening is almost impossible so it's better to just go with the most badass MCs to get the most out of it.

"Yes" Immediately after I said those, pain suddenly course through my entire body I can hear my bones breaking and my blood getting replaced.

For an hour I felt the most excruciating pain I've ever felt in my entire two life combined

Nora POV

When Noel fainted mom and dad canceled the banquet.

Dad said his fine and just need some rest. But I felt uneasy and decided to keep watch of Noel till he woke up.

I fall asleep not long after.

Midnight

I was awakened by the sudden light, I looked toward where Noel was sleeping, and what I saw terrified me.

Creak,crak,crak

His hair is turning purple his face is also changing, what's worst of all was that i can hear his bones getting broken.

I,I don't know what to do, I just stood there watching my brother "changing", A bit later i saw blood flowing out of his eyes.

I couldn't take it anymore and ran out of the room, crying, and told mom and dad what happen.

A moment later

Wyman and Lia dash out of the room and head toward's Noel.

When they arrived they were astonished, shocked, disbelief, and a bit cautious. Although there is a demon here in this world this is the Androgan continent dominated by humans finding demons here is like looking at a needle in a haystack as the demon lord currently has no interest in other species except for monster and forbid any demon from leaving the continent.

Right now they were looking at Noel who change entirely but that's not what they were surprised about, is that cause Noel who wasn't supposed to have any mana and was just a normal human was brimming with mana they also felt another energy but they don't what it is. One thing for sure though was that they felt immense dread just by sensing it similar to demonic energy but different at the same time.

"Let's wait for Noel to wake up maybe he knows what happen," Wyman said solemnly

"I'll go take care of Nora" Lia nodded then walk back to their room.

Wyman stayed in Noel's room in case something happen again.

Morning

I woke up feeling shit, I can't seem to remember anything last night.

'Did I get a hangover?'

I scrap that idea the moment it cross my mind as there was no way they would give alcohol to a 6-year-old.

A voice woke me out of my thoughts

"Son, you alright?" Wyman said

"Yeah, why?" I said as I tilted my head did something happen?

"Where is Nora's birthmark?" He said seriously

"Left armpit" I answered reflexively

'Oh crap, my mouth just moved on its own, dad must think that I have a thing for my sister shittt'

"Phew good, it's still you" He sighs with relief and then asks " What happen to you?"

"Did something happen to me?" I tilt my head confused.

"Look at the mirror"

I look at the mirror and saw the reflection of myself dumbfounded then it all came to me the fragmented memories from last night were slowly being pieced together.

I have violet radiant eyes that emit a hint of danger and amethyst-like hair a huge contrast to my former self. If before I look like a pretty boy now I look more like the antagonist of some novel.

" I'm still me nothing happen I just awaken some sort of power" I gave an excuse to my father.

" Could it be your a mystic?" Wyman said.

A mystic is a rare type of mage since most Mage here follows the rules of the elements which are (Fire, earth, water, wind, etc..) A mystic, on the other hand, is abnormal there's no such thing, as a rule, their power is also random in the history of Ethea there's one Mystic User known as Dimension Traveller which is said to be just like its name can travel from different dimensions.

Their awakening is random there's no such thing as a natural-born mystic.

So when Wyman said this he was overjoyed cause ever since the founding of the Levastein family there has been no Mystic User in the family which means the first was his son.

I nod 'I won't be able to hide my powers anyway might as well just say I'm a mystic which is not completely wrong'
