Junichi Hexen was just a kid when his hometown got attacked by Meta 4 monsters, failed experiments that chose to run rampant, eliminate all of humanity and make their way to the top of the food chain. During one of the Meta 4 rampages, Junichi got caught in its deadly web, he was surprised when he woke up in a secret organization known as M.D.T and was told he had been unconscious for five years. The story follows Junichi as he helps the Meta 3 battle Meta 4 monsters with his newly founded power, while still trying to keep his humanity and not turn into a full Meta 4.
