Chapter-2.

Ye Park, who was struggling with trying to make sense of his newly disorganized recollections and transmigration shit, was startled to see a translucent window hovering in front of his eyes.

'Huh! Isn't that the system I used in my most recent showbiz novel?' Ye Park reflected as he remembered how the system had wrecked his novel in its final moments.

Ouch.

Ye Park, feeling a sting in his head, dismisses the idea of checking out the system for a moment because he still didn't know why he'd been suddenly beaten up and why, a while back, those two sitting near him were talking as if he was a mental case.

Relaxing his mind for a moment, Ye Park goes over all the new memories he had erratically obtained in order to ensure he feels completely ready before coming into contact with the things around him.

One hour later...

"This Alex Chu was a real mental case." Ye park muttered under his breath, smacking the back of his head.

Ow…

Ye Park finally realized why that rogue bull named Michael had attacked him and beat him to half death.

This Alex chu guy was a gullible piece of work, and as a result, he was constantly being taken advantage of; however, to think some women too were physically taking advantage of him, and quite coincidentally, one of those women turned out to be the wife of that Michael, the village's one and only instructor and quite strong at that too.

Even then, things were going smoothly because they were only coercing him into doing foolish things in the name of physical training, but one day when Eva tried to kiss him in an attempt of showing him something important, Michael unexpectedly caught them both.

And since that day that unleashed bull Michael has been thrashing Alex Chu at every opportunity on one thing or the other.

"Sigh, was this Alex really ignorant, or just a womaniser?" Ye park thought as in those memories, even after getting beaten up, this punk was playing how to feign ignorance to everything while gaining the attention of some pretty women of the village .

Though this trick could really work if the trickster is an all-mighty hunk or a charming youngster that needs the protection of a fierce beauty.

"But am I either of them?" Ye park asked himself.

Ye Park used to be merely an introverted man of average appearance whose only ambition in life was to amass wealth and travel the globe while living a peaceful life.

Although Ye Park the Frog in well attempted to write a novel after observing another author earning so much money that Ye Park believed his dream would materialise in just one or two years, reality was quite dissimilar from his lofty goals.

However, Ye Park didn't have to wait two years to understand his dreams were an empty shell as just within a month, he realised how difficult it was to continue what he'd begun.

Once he started drafting, many more ideas began to flood his mind, each better than the one before it, chucking his concentration into turmoil, and since he wasn't much of a calm thinker, he became swayed by his emotions, which started his path towards becoming a failed writer.

"Haiz, I don't want to think about it any more." He shivered in fright as he thought about how frightening those deadlines still were.

Ye Park continued to get acquainted with this newly acquired body and its memories while tucking his nightmares from previous lives away, and after a few hours, he was conscious of every thing that these recollections might have been trying to show him.

The village he was residing in was known as The Maple Leaf Village, however after moving away, there was nobody who would want to come back here since there was nothing intriguing to see other than the lakes and dense forests that enclosed it on all three sides.

The village had a population of two or three thousand people; it had a tavern, a school, a martial arts school, and many other amenities; and, from recollections, the village seemed quite progressive for some odd reason, but it still topped in serenely only since it was something in the village foundations.

'Fuck those foundations, what kind of serenity includes beating someone?' Ye Park cursed in his heart given that these recollections represented the image of the village quite positively.

Getting frustrated and cursing in his heart began to give Ye Park a migraine, so he calmly laid back down on the bamboo bed and shut his eyes to take in the effects of the village's so-called tranquility.

After a few minutes.

To be honest, it was really peaceful as there was no loud noise or people quarreling for literally no reason, but only the sound of cool breeze blowing and birds chirping which was quite soothing to the ears.

The soothing playlist called embrace of nature was about to lull ye park to sleep when the locked gate abruptly opened.

Ye Park, who had his eyes closed and was about to fall asleep, didn't dare to open them because he didn't want to take any chances at the moment.

Tap.

Tap.

The tapping sound of intense steps emerged in the small room, seeming to be getting nearer to the bamboo bed.

"That Michael jerk, how dare he try to ruin my precious angel's face!"

Ye Park shuddered as he heard the cold feminine voice.
