Battle God Ascension
In a future timeline, Earth fell under the rule of the Demirs after several years of resistance ended in futility.
Those that fought were slaughtered and their cultivation practices were destroyed, leaving future generations without a means to fight back.
With the loss of their protectors, humanity had no choice but to be subservient to their overlords with some being forced to undergo the "Awakening project"
This project made it possible for humans to gain powers but at the price of never being able to harm a Demir.
Those who passed the project could at least live well under the Demirs rule, unfortunately, same couldn't be said for those that failed as they would become slaves.
Felix Anderson was one of those unfortunate souls that failed to awaken.
Despite losing his father and sister to the Demirs, it seemed like he would be losing his life as well.
But when he suddenly awakened at the brink of death, that would mark a turn in his rather bleak existence.
Thus begins the rise of a human, overcoming the odds to exert revenge on the race that took everything from him.
This is the chronicle of his journey to godhood!
