Bad News [1]

Nuel kept dying in his frustration and anger when one of his men came and stood before him.

"Sir the....there are bad news.." The man said lowering his head.

"What could be worse than the fact that i can't find Ariene" Nuel muttered to himself in frustration, "Fine! what is it? tell me fast."

"Sir! the depot at the east side was burnt down along side with the chief in charge and his men"

"Okay...as long as the goods aren't in there,it's no big deal" Nuel said sighing in relief,but the next news he heard made him jump up.

"Sir the depot got burnt together with the goods insi..."

"What???!!!" Nuel shouted and grabbed the man's collar, "what rubbish are you saying exactly?" he asked the man in disbelief.

"Sir *cough* the information *cough* it.....it's th....the truth that came to me this morning *cough,cough* "

"Then why did it have to take you long to tell me?" Nuel asked in range as he gripped the man's neck.

"Si...sir i tri.....tri...tried cal..calling yo...y..your li....li..line b....but it w....was swit....switched off" The man said as he chocked on his words. Nuel remembered that his line was truly switched off,but that didn't stop him from gripping the man's neck even more,until another man came holding the cell phone in his hand.

"Sir! Mr Qin is on the line,he requests you to speak with him" the man said and Nuel collected the cell phone releasing the man he was holding who mentally sighed and backed away.

"Father!." Nuel said as he placed the phone on his ears.

"Nuel,what is it am hearing?" Mr Qin asked from the phone,his voice evident of anger.

"Father...the news just got to me, i do n....."

"You have to find out the cause of that fire! i left it in your hands and see what i get! do you know how much money I've lost already?" Mr Qin said angrily.

"Father you should not blame me for what happened,i am lost and angry as you are so i do not see the reason why you should raise your voice at me,besides it's under you.." Nuel said while been upset.

"Uhmmm! fair enough! i won't say much on this,but if you don't give me a detailed information on what caused the fire..i will be forced to freeze all your accounts" *tu tu tu* the call was ended and Nuel angrily smashed the cell phone on the nearby wall.

"Father! don't you dare try that to me or else....." Nuel said and walked out of the courtyard.

"What are you doing here?."Mr Qin asked the moment he saw Nuel coming inside the house," I told you to find the cause of the fire and you are here?.

"What am i doing here?." Nuel asked and sat on a chair facing his father " I do not understand what you said over the phone,the depot is under you,i have no business with it! so why are you been angry on me?"

"Yes the depot is mine! but i handed it over to you because i was away,and coming back this morning i got the news....why are you been so incompetent and ignorant? all you know is waste your life and spend reckless money,can't you be like me in this aspect?" Mr Qin complained bitterly,he wanted his son to be like him in every aspect but the only thing he got from his father is his looks and brain when it comes to women.

"Father with due respect,i don't like the way you talking to me now! do not insult me please" Nuel said glaring at his father.

"Where are your manners?." Mr Qin asked as he dropped what he was holding "you actually think i won't do a thing to you because you are my child? well that will be in your dreams....please leave here now"

"Father!!! please stop all these...Just stop! we should be focusing On how to solve the issue not you throwing insults at me, can we just tal...."

"We have nothing to talk about" Mr Qin said cutting through his words, "leave here! now!! he said with anger and Nuel having no choice, stormed out of the house.

Outside the house,Nuel took out his phone from his pocket and dialed a number.

"Where are you Miguel?" he asked immediately the call was picked.

"*Yawns* i'm at home...is there a problem?.." Miguel said through the phone.

"Yes! I'll come see you later then....but for now I'm busy as i have an important matter to attend to"

"Oh!! it's fine! See you later then bye.." Miguel said and cut the call,Nuel sighed and entered his car.

After driving for two hours straight,he finally reached his own airport,he came down from his car and walked to where his private jet was packed and climbed into it.

"Take me to the east depot!.." he said to the pilot who nodded and climbed into the jet...without wasting time the pilot started the engine and began to fly away. It didn't take long and they got to the destination which was the depot, when he came down from his jet,a man came to him upon seeing the jet land and bowed his head.

"Welcome sir! " the man greeted Nuel.

"Did you find anything?" Nuel asked without bothering to reply to his greetings,he began to walk forward while the man followed behind.

"I didn't see anything sir! i checked the CCTV and i couldn't find anything at all.." the man said biting on his own lips.

"What does that mean? you can't find anything! not even a trace!.." Nuel said in annoyance.

"I'm sorry sir! but it's the truth that I'm saying...i and my boys checked the whole area,and yet not a trace of anything" the man panicked as he spoke,Nuel could loose his temper at any time and he didn't want to be his punching bag.

"You are still saying trash! i need the cause of the fire today. Don't give me excuses i hate them" Nuel said and left the place,while the man sighed and hopelessly went back to the burnt area.
