Chapter 37

Anubis got up abruptly staring at a particular space when suddenly Yama emerged from it with a smirk evident in his lips.

"Don't tell me that you don't welcome me,your uncle...." Yama smirked and said while emerging from the shadows

"What do you mean uncle? i forbid you to be my uncle" Anubis spat and said.

"Hahaha,indeed you've grown wings right? you wouldn't want me as an uncle?..sorry but unfortunately there's nothing that can be done about it" Yama said nonchalantly as he walked around her in circles

"What do you mean" Anubis asked aggressively as she turned in circles as well.

"Ohoh.....brother didn't tell you why he gave you a second chance? this he didn't tell me but knowing the kind of person he is,i guess it's the only answer to it,you were only given a chance because of his own purposes....yes!! his own purposes and he taking you as one of his children...you should know the answer to that as well,or...should i tell you too?" Yama said grinning,Anubis glared at him confusingly as she didn't understand what Yama was saying.

"I do not understand,what purposes exactly" she asked

"To use you as a tool of destruction of course....i guess you must have been told about the forth coming war,because of how powerful you are becoming he will use you to fight us,but let me tell you something...this war is in our favor,we have so many other powerful aids that you nor him knows about...you should consider leaving him now that it is still early or you might choose to stay and die for him" Yama said with confidence seeing the wavering look on her face,he thought for certain that she would join him.

"What makes you think that i would join you? I've sold my soul to him and i belong to him,he gave me life again,he gave me hope and power as well,what in this world do you think will make me betray him?? i hate betrayers the most and i can't bring myself to betray the one who gave me a new hope....its best you stop trying to turn me to your side,it won't work!! and as for the war....i will fight with him even to the last drop of my blood,get lost...you disgust me"

Yama could not help but burn in rage,he clenched his fist as he gritted his teeth, "I'm giving you one last chance! submit yourself to me or you'll die!"

"I belong to my master Zeus...nothing will change me not even you!....try killing me if you want!" Anubis said with a firm resolution, she wasn't going to betray her master.

"Fine then" Yama said and closed his eyes next he opened it and it had already turned black,"since you do not want to join me and live,i wouldn't mind killing you now!" he said with a thunderous voice....he waved his hands and thick fogs began to form around Anubis surrounding her.

"What the hell is this" she said as she tried to move out of it but her face suddenly twitched " i can't move??! dammit!" she screamed and began to concentrate her wind spells to the fog,she tried dispersing them with her wind spells but it seemed useless as she hadn't learnt how to use her air ability.

Yama grinned widely as he watched Anubis struggle with the thick fog that was already climbing her legs,she screamed in pain as the fogs suddenly grew nails and were digging on her flesh....."Hahahaha!!! it will keep digging on your flesh until there's none left,your powers are useless against my fog,so stop wasting your powers..... You still have a chance to come to me!! what do you say?"

"Never!!! i rather die!" Anubis screamed, she closed her eyes and when she opened it,it was already dyed red as blood,she focused her mind on the back of Yama,and muttered some words then suddenly she materialized at the back of Yama.

"Heh!! i got you now!!" she said to the dismay of Yama.
