" Stupid, utterly stupid "

Standing on the shoreline of the [ River of Time ], she spoke with an angry expression, gritting her teeth in frustration, her hands were clenched into a fist.

Floating in front of her were two Blobs of light, connected to each other looking like the symbol of Infinity. She was feeling extreme rage building up inside of her, anytime she looks at that one particular soul.

If the life of both souls had not been connected together, then she would have already tortured and extinguished that soul thousands of time by now.

Alas, all she could do was to swallow up her rage and think of a solution for the problem she was facing in front of her.

She had warned that stupid girl so many times, stil, 'still why did she ruin it ?,' it was the only question lingering in her mind with no answer in sight.

Alina blackstorm. The Head of the Noble House of Blackstorm. A cold-hearted women, A lady of Iron will and ruthless heart. People call her by different names and titles.

She was a stern looking Middle-aged lady, with golden blonde hair and green eyes, she was standing at the door of a huge Mansion, looking at her two Children.

Athan Blackstorm, a boy around 18 years of age with Black hair and green eyes, a sharp jawline and handsome face. A 6 feet tall, compact body shape that inclined more on the agility side rather than brute force, perfectly showing the hardwork he put in it. He was standing beside his sister looking at their mother.

Ella Blackstorm, a girl around 15 years old, a younger carbon copy of her mother, was holding the boy's hand and was looking quite excited. She was a sweet and meek little girl in front of her mother and brother, but in front of outsiders, she was as cold as her mother on the battlefield.

" Mother, I am ready to go and you shouldn't worry. I will take care of Ella in your absence." Athan reassured his mother while patting Ella on the head, who seemed to enjoy his big warm hands on her head.

" If you say so." Alina nodded her head at him and continued.

" I would be out for at least a month this time. When you return from the academy, i would have already left with your aunt, so don't worry about me. The delegations from Crostia Union Council are coming at the Peace treaty this time and it is necessary for every Noble Houses' head to be present. Its the direct orders from her Majesty."

She grumbled a bit, then shrugged it off, there was nothing she could do about it.

If it was in her hands, she definitely wouldn't go, but the situation was dire this time and she has to go no matter how much she wanted to stay back with her children.

" You should take care of yourself mother and if there's any dangerous situation, prioritize your safety first." Athan said in a serious tone. It was different from his usually cheerful one.

No one know what might happen when going to a place where most of the important figures of humanity will gather together. It was a matter to be serious about. One mistake and you will not know how you died. Your friends, your enemies, you never know who might stab you in the back.

' Some people aren't satisfied until they sabotage someone else's happiness. Be careful of who you trust , not everyone who smiles at you is your friend .A great saying indeed.' He thought.

" Don't be so serious now and take care of yourself too at the Magic academy and study hard. You have a great talent in magic, teach your sister too in the free time. You will also be meeting your fiancée there, try to get a good relationship with her. She's a good girl." Saying so, she tried to pinch his cheek but he quicky dodged her hand, seeing her attempt fail she retracted her hands, dissatisfied a little in her heart.

Saying his part, Athan said goodbyes to his mother and sister. He stood some distance away from them, closed his eyes and made a grabbing motion in the air as a golden black colour card appeared in his hand. This was his academy ID card, and without it no one can enter the academy grounds. Of course, the higher ups were exceptions, but for any normal person it was an absolute necessity.

Athan urged his mana into the card and activated the teleportation magic inscribed on it. A blue flash of light engulfed him and he vanished from the spot he was standing, leaving only the mother and daughter duo.

Watching her son gone for the academy. Alina turned her head and focused her gaze on to the young lady who was now standing beside her.

Felling her mother's gaze Ella tilted her head and asked " Mother, something's wrong ?"

" Ouuch! Ouuch ouuch!... mother, it hurts " She squeaked as Alina pulled and twisted her ears.

" Ella, you should control yourself, and in my absence, don't cause trouble for your brother. No, breaking bones of others and i don't want you to sneak into your brother's bedroom, when he sleeps." Ella got shocked as she heard her mother speaking about her biggest secrets.

She had always tried to be very careful and always return to her bedroom before anybody could wake up, she thought she had already removed any evidence, so how could her mother know.

" M-mother i-i was just ... having bad dream so i slept in brother's room." She panicked a little bit and tried to quickly make an excuse. She was usually a very smart and confident girl, but in front of her mother, she would always become like a deflated balloon.

" I already know about it dear, i am just saying that you are now growing up and your decisions and behaviour matters very much. Your brother has already stated his wish to be a Wizard and I know you had always wanted to become the family's head. So you should behave well during my absence and study hard, okay...?" She calmly expained to her daughter. She wanted her daughter to mature a bit if she wants to properly become the new head of the family. Although smart girl but her childish behaviour sometimes makes her do foolish things.

"Yes, mother." She seriously nodded her head. It was her dream and she would try her best to become a worthy head of the family.

' The Magic Academy ', a simple name, but no one in the entire world would dare to belittle the academy. It was a Kingdom of Magicians, situated in a hidden space. No one knowing its real location except for the real strong powers that stand at the peak of the world. The location was mystery in itself for normal People.

Its been more than 2 millennia since 'The Magic Academy' was established. More than 70% of the greatest magicians the world has ever seen, were graduated from the magic academy. Anybody graduated from here was destined to be a successful person in life.

It was also the place Athan would start his real journey from and the place that would turn out to be the greatest turning point in his life.

His only goal was to become the strongest and find her. Protect her and his family, and live the remaining life peacefully. He wanted nothing fancy. Living his second life he knew the importance of strength, without strength this cruel world will never let them be happy.

Athan came in front of the massive entrance of the academy where people who came through teleportation like him were going in and out.

There were many students just like him in their Academy uniform, walking towards the main buildings. Gathering his thoughts, he started walking with firm steps. He was neither happy nor sad, he was just thinking about the academy and his future plans.

He has a fiancée to see, but he didn't want to meet her. He only loved one girl. The one who died in front of his eyes as they were both burned alive. Remembering the past made his expression grew extremely cold. If his family members were to see him now they might not believe that he was the same cheerful boy they always knew him for.

He quickly reigned his thoughts, his expression became normal.

He was reborn in this world, he remembered every single detail of his previous life, those feelings, love, pain, joy, sadness, everything. He remembered that girl, her beautiful and cheerful smile, how she called him ' dumbo '.

He had searched for her everywhere he can in this world but still didn't find her.

She was here in this world and he was sure of it. Someone had said this to him. This was the only part of his memories that were blurry, but even in those blurry memories a line was deeply etched in his mind. " I can only send you to the world where her soul will re-born. But the time and place are still unknown even to me. You may die of old age in that world and she may not even be born yet."

That female voice said this to him and the next second he was here in this world, reborn as a baby. Although he didn't know if she was even alive or not, he will still search for her. Becoming the strongest and no matter what the price, he will definitely meet her again.

A ruthless expression appeared for a second on his face that was again quickly replaced by the sushine, peacefull smile of his.
