Rosemary Fairwell, the main character to my favorite book, was betrayed by those she held closest, that ending always gets me.
What happens when I find myself as her second chance? Continuing where her story left off?

In my final moments I look at everyone, watching me walk to the place I will be beheaded. I loved and cherished them and yet they happily watched me be delivered to the place of my death.
We arrived at the place I will be beheaded. The executioner pushed me down, hard, and put my head in the slot.
'That hurt,' I thought, 'well I'm going to die soon, so I guess it doesn't matter anyway'
That was when the audacity of the situation hit me hard.
I cared, loved, and cherished them, and yet they betrayed me. And it's all because of HER, I held her above all else, and she betrayed me. As I look up to see her with fake tears in her eyes, but, when no one was looking, a cruel smile on her face.
I had so many emotions all at once; regret, remorse, sadness, but most of all, unbelievable rage.
'If only I had one more chance...' I think,' I would do everything right'
Once I was in and the executioner grabbed his ax ready to cut the rope, the king looked to me and said
"any last words?"
I stared at the ground quiet. The king gave the signal and the executioner swung his ax at the rope. Under my breath I said,
"You betrayed me but don't worry....
