Bite Her Neck

'I would rather die quickly than getting bitten by him.'

Agnes knew she had to choose the pain for herself and that's why she decided wisely to hug the quick death.

As soon as Cyrus Saikaro took one more step towards her in order to say something, she subconsciously shot up and without hesitating jumped off the balcony!

The scenario felt like a slow motion film to Cyrus as the air fluttered her dress and she spread her arms after jumping. The night embraced the woman dressed in crimson coloured clothes as the sacrifice.

But perhaps it was not the day when she was supposed to die and definitely not in front of his eyes.

'You can't die that easily Agnes, I'm supposed to choose the death time for you!'

Cyrus Saikaro gritted and jumped behind her immediately in the attempt to catch the woman.

A huge pair of black wings emerged from his back having reddened edges, he dived straight within close composure to speed up.

'No, what is he doing?'

Agnes opened her eyes to see a shadowy figure approaching her  as she began to fall deeper into the hollow valley.

'Is he...will he save me?'

The woman thought to herself in disbelief after all why would the king save her. Why would be attempt to risk his life to save a measly bar worker?

On the top of everything she was the woman who was caught red handed with the count.

'No! I don't want to die according to his wishes.'

She thought that Cyrus Saikaro wanted to bite her neck by digging his fangs and to syck her dry. No doubt it was the painful death ever nad she did not want to accept that torture.

Agnes turned around and saw an endless void beneath her falling silhouette, she brought her legs and arms closer to accelerate.

'What is she doing?'

Cyrus was stunned after witnessing that perhaps she didn't want to be saved at all.

'Tsk, no. You can't die without my permission!'

His wings pierced the air as Cyrus approached the lady with a stern expression.

Agnes closed her eyes hoping to hit some rock or anything down in a moment. But to her shock two arms wrapped around her waist and pulled her upwards.

Although she knew who it was but perhaps the woman did not want to believe or rather it was unbelievable.

"Do you want to die that badly?"

He questioned her in a cold tone making Agnes gulp her fears, though she didn't turn to face him but the lady could feel her body turning cold.

Cyrus flew back towards the balcony holding Agnes in front of her as his cold body touched hers. Despite she had been wearing a warm velvet dress it couldn't insulate her body from his vampiric coldness.

A tear crawled down on her cheek which daringly fell on his hand and the spot began to itch and burn.

Agnes assumed that it was against the king's ego that she chose her death all by herself. Thus, he saved her life to behead her later.

Undoubtedly Cyrus was rumoured to be a ruthless and egotistical man, he had killed numerous humans without a flinch.

Not even vampires were safe from his clutches like count Hawthorne. Cyrus was well aware of his superiority and authority, moreover the man knew how to take advantage of it.

They both landed in the balcony and as soon as Cyrus put her down on the chilled marbled floor, Agnes immediately created a visible distance between both of them.

She blankly stared at him clutching the neckline of her dress and waited for a sharp pain to end her misery.

But Cyrus Saikaro was in his own thoughts the man yelled at her without considering his image.

"Do I disgust you that much? That you couldn't bear any sight and jumped from there?"

He pointed out towards the stone edged railing and shouted while his handsome face showed some expressions.

Agnes forgot to mind her words dye to shick and bluntly spoke to answer his question.

"N- no. You...you were going to kill me."

She felt her limbs failing and now within one second Agnes realized what blunder she just committed.

'Oh no!'

Cyrus wanted to laugh wholeheartedly that she actually knew the truth but that was Agnes' assumption.

He composed himself and shook his head when his huge black wings vanished into the air like smoke. His long sleek hair blew a little in the process as he walked towards her.

"I was going to kill you, yes. You are correct."

Within the blink of an eye Cyrus paced up and was in front of Agnes, who didn't get a chance to retreat.

Cyrus lifted her chin up while Agnes' body stiffened under his cold touch and penetrating gaze, the king smiled exposing his one sharp fang making Agnes visibly gulp her fear.

"But somehow you have caught my attention, dear miss Agnes!"

The king gave a lopsided grin as Agnes stitched a gaze with him and saw Cyrus' orbs turning red.

The woman got scared and immediately shut her eyes because the horrible sight was not pleasant to any human.

The last image which flashed in her brain was the face of Margaret and Agnes wished a good life for her. It was the moment when she suspected her death.

Cyrus leaned in and sniffed her exposed neck like a tasty snack, Agnes could feel his cold breath on her skin and every single cell of her body trembled.

Something touched her neck precisely the throbbing vein and she felt her heart stopping, Agnes snapped and opened her eyes immediately realizing something.

'Is...is he kissing me?'

Of course, Cyrus kissed her neck by taking skin in between his cold lips and then licked the same spot which glared red by now.

That was the last thing one could expect from the mighty noble vampire Lord and that's why Agnes felt herself in an utter disbelief.
