Chapter 1: The beginning of the haunting
She wakes up to a very weird dream. Some devilish body saying "give me your nails". She couldn't understand a thing.
When she got out of the nightmare, the Alarm clock went out.
It was seven in the morning. she got up, got freshed up and got going to school.
*in the classroom*
Teacher: Yuumi Fujita, have you completed the project about the Egyptian history?
Yuumi: No teacher, I apologize... Would you please give me another chance?
Teacher: This is actually ridiculous! I've been asking you since literally 3 days! If you're gonna keep this up I'll have to give the project to another student.
Yuumi: I'm really sorry miss Koyo(the teacher)
Koyo: Now, Who'd like to take the responsibility of the project?
Kiyomi: Miss! Please can I?
Koyo: Sure, But if you're not responsible and don't submit it to me in time, You'll have strict punishment.
Yuumi: what about me!?
Koyo: You didn't follow your duty, Now that the project has been handed over to another student, there's nothing you can do.
Kiyomi: Thank you, Teacher
Yuumi *sighs*
*The bell rings*
Koyo: Class dismissed!
Kiyomi: *walks over to Yuumi's seat* Hey! Meet me after school by the park, Yuumi.
Yuumi: I don't know if I can come... I'll see if I can
Kiyomi: Sure! Have a great day.
*After school*
Yuumi: (In mind) Oh, I remember... She called me to tell park didn't she? Man, I really don't wanna go.... But I also really don't wanna offend her! Ok nevermind, I'll visit her.
*sprinting to the park*
*at the park*
Kiyomi: Hey there!!!
Kiyomi: Girl! I have been waiting for you since forever!
Yuumi: Oh, I'm sorry!
*Kiyomi pats on the seat beside her*
Kiyomi: Come on, sit
Yuumi: yeah... so what did you want to talk about huh?
Kiyomi: Oh yes! I'm so sorry for today...
Yuumi: Sorry about what though?
Kiyomi: About me taking the project's responsibility from you....?
Yuumi: you're actually apologizing? *bursts out laughing*
I'm supposed to thank you for saving my life from that! Even I were interested in doing it, I really wouldn't have minded! You're my bestie after all...!
Kiyomi: So does that mean you forgive me?
Yuumi: Duh!!?
Kiyomi: what a relief! By the way, Wanna hangout today at the movies?
Yuumi: The movies?
Kiyomi: Yeah! Something wrong?
Yuumi: No I'm alright! But sorry I can't come... I have to help out my mother with some house chores.
Kiyomi: No problem! Maybe some other day.
Yuumi: Yeah, I'll get going now. See ya tomorrow!
Kiyomi: Be careful and goodbye!!!
Yuumi: Bye-bye!
Yuumi reaches home, gets refreshed and locks herself in her room.
Yuumi: My, my! I can't believe I lied to her like that! Hmm... but I can't really help it. I don't wanna go out, just no.
Her mother knocks on her door
Yuumi's mother: Dear! Get your dinner!
Yuumi: I'll eat later, mom!
Mother: yeah sure!
Her mother goes downstairs
Yuumi: About that dream... it was so weird and scary! I'll talk to mom about it later.
After taking some rest, She heads over to the dinning table and takes a seat. Her mother serves her food and sits alongside her.
Yuumi: Thanks for the meal
Mother: thanks for the meal
They both start eating together.
Yuumi: Hey, mom?
Mother: Yes dear?
Yuumi: I had this very weird dream the other day...
Yuumi: it was some figure saying "Give me your nails, Yuumi". I'm not sure if it was a human
Mother: hmph... that's why I tell you to not watch horror stories or movies! It's just you're imagination I'm sure.
Yuumi: huh? It's no like that mom! It was really creepy and I've never experienced it ever before!
Mother: No, shut up and quietly eat your food. Stop over- acting.
Yuumi: Welp, ok!
Yuumi is done with her food and gets up.
Mother: you don't need seconds?
Yuumi: No, mom. You know I'm not a fan of curry.
Mother: okay...
Yuumi: I'll get going to my room. Don't disturb me please.
Mother: alright dear.
