Chapter 2 : Demon

"Father!"

Ibuki quickly got up from his futon and ran outside, he then saw a scene that seemed unrealistic to him, the decapitated body of his father falling to the ground as his head rolled on the grass.

Seeing this Ibuki took a deep breath, his heart rate increased, his pupils contracted and finaly he say with a voice trembled.

"Fa.ther!"

"Father!"

He ran towards the corpse Tatsugoro but was suddenly stopped by a creature with long pointed ears, a greenish complexion, bloody red pupils, sharp teeth in a bloody mouth and long sharp claws making him look like a beast.

"Hehe, another human! I'm going to enjoy myself tonight!"

Ibuki, who was trying to calm himself, looked at the creature with an angry look in his eyes said in an angry voice:

"Why are you killing him?!"

But the creature didn't respond and ran towards Ibuki at such speed that he arrived in front of him in the blink of an eye.

But before the monster's claws reached Ibuki, his palms quickly landed on the monster's belly.

Then a kind of shockwave escaped from Ibuki's palms, mercilessly hitting the monster, throwing it against an old tree at such a speed that the back of the monster broke against the tree trunk.

"Agh!" the monster cried out as he spat out a sip of blood.

But under Ibuki's calm eyes the wounded monster slowly got up as it healed at an inordinate speed and in just 3 seconds the monster's body returned to normal.

"Damn kid! I'll tear out your eyes, your guts! I'll eat your bones!"

The monster rushed again towards Ibuki who also ran at full speed towards his house.

"You won't escape me!! Roar!"

The difference in speed was clearly visible but ibuki still had time to go inside and catch the Boken which was put on the ground with his belt.

Grabbing Boken's wrist, he turned and faced the monster running towards him, he took a deep breath and looked at his opponent with his calm eyes, he then put himself in an offensive position before taking a step forward.

"Hoshin : True liberated Mind!"

Ibuki, as if carried away by a calm air flow, arrived in front of the monster in barely a second before overtaking him the next second, appearing behind the monster which had stopped in the meantime.

"Damn...kid...I'll kill you!"

The monster's body was then cut in half at the hip, each part falling to the ground in a stream of blood as Ibuki walked towards his father's lifeless body.

"Father..." Murmured he in a calm but sad voice, he then took the head of the man who had raised him in this life and put it next to his body with a few tears in his eyes, but suddenly he leaned to the right barely escaping the claws of the monster, who was without any sign of injury.

He quickly retreated backwards and looked at the monster in amazement.

"Impossible I cut your body in half, no beasts or man can survive that!"

"Hehe how dare you compare me to a beast or a human, I am a demon, a being chosen by our great lord, hehe, I will cut out your tongue, human, then I will devour you butcher by butcher, hehe!" Hysterically laughed the monster, no, the demon!

This time Ibuki's footsteps seemed slow, his gaze became completely empty, then he disappeared.

The demon seeing this suddenly shivered.

Then followed his left arm and finally his right foot, he was beheaded.

The body of the demon separated into six fell to the ground again under the eyes of Ibuki who reappeared further away holding his Boken.

His breathing rhythm was faster and even a few drops of sweat slipped on his forehead despite the cool night wind, but he didn't notice this, all his attention was focused on the demon without lowering his vigilance, he was ready to attack at any moment.

And he was right, the demon's body was quickly rebuilt, before it rose from the ground.

"Haha I get it, you're not a demon hunter, you don't even have a katana that can kill me Hehe."

But without giving the demon time to attack, he attacked him again.

So all night a fight between a ten-year-old boy and a demon went on, the demon healed again and again and the boy cut him up with a wooden sword relentlessly again and again.

Finally at dawn, the light of the rising sun illuminated the boy and the fighting demon, but the severed body of the demon as if surrounded by flames burned at a frantic pace, under the surprised gaze of the young boy.

"Agh! I don't want to die! Agh! Help! Please!" The demon's screams resonated throughout the estate as Ibuki watched him turn to ash.

Perhaps attracted by the screams, a group of villagers going to the fields, ran towards Ibuki's house, once there, they saw Ibuki, his body covered in blood, holding a boken and the body of his beheaded father further away.

The villagers seeing this could not help but vomit, before looking at Ibuki with a frightened look on their faces.

One of them pointed to him while shaking and said in a frightened voice.

"You monster! You killed your father!"
