2 Chapter 2: Beating up by the Hulk

Surrounded by security guards wearing black suits and black sunglasses, Iron Man cleared a path, keeping the journalists and fans at bay, and opening a way for himself.

Piece by piece, the steel armor on Tony's body automatically disassembled and was propelled upward by the built-in jet system, ascending to the rooftop. Meanwhile, Tony himself approached Sheldon and the security guards.

"Happy, how's Banner doing?"

The security guard named Happy replied, "He's doing well. He's waiting for you downstairs."

"Okay." Tony nodded and then patted the unfamiliar high school student next to him. "Kid, have fun here."

Just as Tony Stark was about to leave, he suddenly heard a warning from JARVIS, his AI butler, through the earpiece:

"Mr. Stark, Dr. Banner's pulse is showing abnormal signs, and there's a 56% chance that the Hulk will awaken."

"How did this happen?" Tony frowned and said to Happy, "Evacuate everyone from here. Banner has encountered some issues."

"I'm continuously updating the probability of the Hulk awakening for you—"

"63%... 73%... 67%... 80%..."

"Hurry, everyone get out! JARVIS, inform Nick Fury that Banner is in trouble!"

As Tony spoke, sets of Iron Man armor flew down from the building, with one of them equipping onto Tony.

The hall immediately descended into chaos. Dozens of floating Iron Man armors sounded alarms. Some directed personnel to evacuate, some helped up fallen individuals, some dragged away the injured, and some pressed against the ground, using jet propulsion to resist something that seemed to be rising from the ground.

In the midst of this chaotic scene, Sheldon did not leave. He hid behind a counter and activated his internal viewing system.

"The system is still clocking in. It will take another 16 minutes..."

He hoped that these Iron Man armors could hold out for 16 minutes.

"Boom!"

The ground erupted, creating a deep crater, and a huge green monster jumped out. The impact wave sent the Iron Man armors flying, crashing into the walls and shattering them.

Hulk is here..

High-pitched screams echoed from the evacuating crowd, catching the attention of the Hulk.

"Crack - Boom!"

Hulk stomped on the ground, leaving two large craters, and his massive body was propelled backward by the recoil.

A red, blue, and white round shield flew out from the crowd, hitting the Hulk in the face, and then bounced back into the hands of its owner.

It was Steve Rogers a.k.a Captain America.

Rubbing his nose and shaking his head, Hulk charged towards Steve Rogers.

Captain America used his shield to block, but the Hulk crashed into him, sending both the shield and Captain flying.

"Captain, where is Agent Romanoff?"

(Black Widow's name is Natasha Romanoff.)

"This big guy doesn't seem interested in you."

"Natasha has been assigned by Nick Fury to a mission in South America. She's on her way here piloting a Quinjet" Steve flexed his sore shoulder.

"Tony, what's going on? How did Banner lose control?"

"Well... there was a little mishap," Tony said. "But we should be able to handle it now."

In the near-Earth orbit outside the atmosphere, the "Anti-Hulk Armor" had already been dispatched and was being assembled onto Iron Man's body, piece by piece.

"Dang! Dang dang! Dang dang dang dang!"

A giant robot, similar in size to the Hulk, gradually took shape, blocking the Hulk's path.

The red and green giants engaged in a fierce battle. The mechanical fists of the Anti-Hulk Armor transformed into high-frequency mechanical hammers, repeatedly striking the Hulk's head with a series of punches.

"Sleep, sleep, sleep..." Tony continuously prayed under his breath.

Enraged by the pain, the Hulk bit off one of the Anti-Hulk Armor's arms, then exerted force to tear off one of its legs. The floating replacement armors flew towards Tony, but the Hulk smashed them with a single punch!

The battered Anti-Hulk Armor was thrown aside as the Hulk charged towards the entrance of the hall.

Outside was the busiest area of New York City. If the Hulk caused destruction here, the consequences would be unimaginable.

Just at that moment, a figure emerged from behind the counter, catching the attention of the Hulk.

"Hey! Why is there a kid here?"

Captain America leaped high towards Sheldon, using his shield as a cushion to perform a rolling maneuver and landed near him, grabbing the young boy's arm.

The suspended Anti-Hulk Armor also extended a mechanical arm, grabbing Sheldon's other hand. Together with Captain America, they tried to pull Sheldon out of the wreckage.

"Hulk, smash!"

The Hulk clapped his hands forcefully in front of him, releasing a shockwave that sent Captain America and the Iron Man armor flying. With a leap, he stood in front of Sheldon.

"No!"

"Hulk!! Don't!!"

Captain America and Iron Man were unable to stop it, and could only watch as the Hulk grabbed the high school student by the head and raised him high above.

Heavily slamming into the ground!

Boom!!

With soil and rocks flying everywhere, the Hulk relentlessly pounded down, throwing over a hundred punches in succession. Each punch was like sonic boom, causing the ground to crack as if it were dried up.

"Tony! Look at what you've done!"

"Jarvis, find this kid's relatives. I will provide him with sufficient compensation..."

"5..."

"4..."

"3..."

"2..."

"1..."

"Ding dong..."

The Hulk's attacking movements came to a halt, and the verbal battle between Captain America and Iron Man ceased. They widened their eyes, staring at the deep crater beneath the Hulk, at the figure that was trembling inside the crater.

That young boy actually stood up?

How is that possible!?

With the intensity of those attacks, even Captain America, who has reached the limits of human capabilities, would be beaten to a pulp.

Even the Thor, the God of Thunder, would suffer severe injuries.

Yet this high school student stood up completely unscathed!

And he casually walked towards the entrance as if nothing had happened!

He even smiled contentedly!!?

The Hulk exerted all his strength and delivered several punches to the back of Sheldon's head. Sheldon only felt as if a gentle breeze was blowing, neither painful nor itchy, and he even had a slightly ticklish and comfortable sensation.

The Hulk relentlessly chased after Sheldon, pummeling him, but Sheldon paid no attention and continued walking towards the entrance, eager to hurry home and do his homework.

This situation was like a player in a game, beating an invincible NPC without receiving any feedback.

Each punch felt empty.

A Quinjet landed in the airspace above Stark Tower, and a red-haired woman slid down the rope.

"Hey, big guy, the sun is about to set."

The Hulk saw Black Widow and halted his attack. His right fist emitted a reddish glow, resembling molten lava, and smoke rose from the intense friction.

Before Black Widow could continue to console him, with a loud thud, Hulk fell backward, transforming back into Bruce Banner, wearing only his pants.

Everyone quickly approached and administered a sedative, carrying Bruce away.

Captain America and Iron Man exchanged glances, but when they went to search for the high school student, he had vanished without a trace.

"I really miss seventy years ago when others saw me as a monster," Captain America shook his head and chuckled. "What's the identity of that kid?"

"Jarvis, retrieve the address of the high school student."

"Performing facial recognition... Accessing New York City surveillance footage... Conducting extensive data comparison..."

"Boss, he lives in Queens," Happy approached and slapped a crumpled intern registration form into Tony's hand.
