Chapter Fourteen: “The Perfect Dress”

It's been a month since the accident happened and lost my friends and I officially moved to Boston. Chris and I started looking for a house to live in for after we got married in two weeks. Veronica and I have been this entire month planning the wedding, I was so excited. We had already sent out all the invitations a week ago. Chris and I haven't seen each other in two days because he's so overwhelmed at work. The wedding was almost here and I knew I had to make it perfect, nothing could ruin it now. Veronica and I where finally going to go dress shopping, with all the wedding details I haven't had any time for the dress. Chris already had his suit, I haven't seen it but I know he's going to look handsome in it. My cousins are coming to the wedding too, I haven't seen them in a long time and I knew this was going to be a good opportunity to see them again, after all these years.

Veronica and I left her house and went to the best wedding store in Boston, there where beauties and a lot of white. I tied dress after dress and I couldn't find the one, I didn't think it was that complicated to find the perfect dress these days. Veronica called every dress stores there was in Boston and we went to each one for testing.

Hours have passed and I still couldn't find the perfect dress. This was all frustrating and I was getting a little worried I wouldn't find the perfect dress for my wedding. We where walking around the mall to get some iced tea and I was hoping for a miracle to happened. We where leaving and suddenly, I see something white and big, something I knew it was what I've been waiting for, my dress! The one. I grabbed Veronica by the arm and took her towards a dress store that was closing in an hour, it was a miracle, more like luck.

-"this is the one Veronica, this is the one!" I said to her almost crying with so much happiness.

I went in to put it on, it was beautiful, we still needed to make some changes to the measures but it was perfect. It was white as the snow, strapless and perfect. I already bought the shoes and they looked beautiful next to the dress. I started crying and Veronica hold me tight, I knew Chris was going to love this dress. I bought the dress and we ent back home, I was so excited, I had to leave the dress at the store for the arrangements I had made to it but I was going to pick two days before my wedding.

As I was getting out of Veronicas car I thanked her and gave her huge hug.

-"Veronica, I know I haven't asked you this before, but..."

As she interrupted me she yelled and said, "YES! Oh my god, yes! Of course I want to be your made of honor!"

She started to cry and I hugged her, she was so excited and I was happy I had her as my friend.
