Hm.... It seems like yesterday Zekel saw Lilly on his way home together with Rin so he stopped and told Lilly that the tea party ended rather quickly so she should pick me up huh....
Well Zekel has good manners so he might have done it out of good will but is there any reason why would he do that...?
Oh well never mind, I just thank him if I saw him again... But to be honest I don't want to see him again...
Sigh~ this potatoes sure is hard to pluck.
Yuzu grabbed the potatoes so hard that when it came out she stumbled.

I never thought farming would be this hard.
I used to think so little of the farmers but it seems like I was a poor judge of people....
Farmers are the mightiest, they can do this kind of job every day.
But who would have thought that behind my mansion there would be a farm.
When Lilly saw me watering the potatoes she almost collapsed... Haha...
It was a lot of effort convincing her to let me do the farm work.
After I'm done with this I will cook Lilly some sweet potato-

When Yuzu was busy tending the potatoes she heard an unfamiliar voice called her, she stopped and glanced to her right to see who was calling her.

This guy... Black short hair, black pure eyes, and that logo on his chest from his uniform... And that sword around his waist, that's not like any ordinary sword.. There is only one person with that kind of sword in the novel...
Don't tell me.... He is Grey...?! Why would the emperor's personal knight come in here?! Don't tell me the emperor sent him?!
Crap Lilly's not in here either!!
Isn't it too soon for me to die?!
"Why... Is a princess doing farm work...? "
Grey asked with a worried and confused face as he approached Yuzu and stopped beside her.
Why is he getting close?!
Crap! I forgot I was doing some farm work, I'm sure he hasn't seen a princess doing something like this! Crap what should I do?!

"O-oh, this is my new e-xercise.. Haha.. "
Darn! Why did I stutter so embarrassing!

Grey asked with his head tilted (Means confused)
"Y-yeah..! I gained weight recently so this is my new exercise... My daily exercise didn't had that much effect so I changed it... And this exercise don't only help me it also help the nature... Don't you think so...? Haha.... "
Why.... Am I... An idiot?!
Of course no one would believe an excuse like this!
Well it be a different case is he's an idiot, but he's the emperor personal knight you know!!
There's no way he would believe such excuse!!
I'm dead!! Lilly save me!!
"I see! Princess Yuzu isn't just doing some exercise you're also doing something for the nature! As expected of the emperor's daughter!"
Eh...? He believed it?!! How dunce can he be?!!
O-oh well this is better for me.
"Y-yeah, even though I'm a princess I need to help the nature right...? "
"Then can I also join the princess?"
Grey asked bluntly, since he's the pure and innocent type.

What?! He want to join?! No you're not allowed to join! It be bad to get involved with you!
"What's wrong princess...? Am.. I.. Not allowed to..?"
Grey asked with dejected eyes as he lower down his head to show that he's afraid to be rejected.
"Eh...?! O-of course you're allowed to! The more the merrier right!! Now, now why won't you help me pick the potatoes? "
Crap... I said something I shouldn't have... He looked so dejected when he asked me so I reflexively said yes...
Oh well... It wouldn't hurt hanging out with him for once right...?
Yuzu and Grey planted and harvested the ripe potatoes.
It didn't took long for them to have the awkward silence disappear.
As they interacted with each other, they felt the warmth of one person, Grey was a skilled sword man he lived in war and his sword is his life.
The cold feeling of blood that lingers around him as he coldy slay his enemies dispersed as Yuzu warmth company replaced those cold feelings.
To Grey it was a new feeling that he didn't want to let it go.
Having someone company for the first time was the most wonderful feeling he could have...
"If time would just stop for a second and let me treasure this moment... It would be the most wonderful gift.. "
Grey mumbled as he looked intently at Yuzu face full of dirt but all he could see was Yuzu's smile that's full of happiness as she planted the potatoes.
"I can't believe a person would be this happy just from planting plants... "
Grey mumbled again not knowing that Yuzu might have heard him.
"Well... That's because I'm not just planting, as I plant each potatoes, I think of a person smile as they harvest the potatoes I planted, just from hours of works I can make someone happy of my plant... And that just wonderful... Isn't it?"
"Eh...? You heard me princess?!! "
Grey shouted as he covered his face that's red as an apple.
"Hehe~ it's okay, since I'm the only one who heard you. "
Yuzu replied as she took Grey arms away from his face, to see his face and as she expected it was red.
"And even though time can't be stop, it's not like you cant see me anymore right? "
Yuzu said camly as she touched his face with her hands full of mud thus resulted for Grey face to be covered in mud.
"Eh...? Then does that mean I can continue hanging out with you princess..? "
Grey asked with a shy tone as he also touched Yuzu's hand that was touching his face.
He didn't even noticed that it was full of mud, to him the hand that was touching him felt like a hand of a mother it has a motherly warmth, enough to make him hold unto it.
How can I decline if you just said that you wanted to treasure this moment...
Yuzu smiled and said...
"Of course"
Those words echoed on Grey heart and mind.
As tears flowed down his cheeks to the ground.
Drop, drop, drop tears kept dropping but he just sat there staring at Yuzu's crimson eyes, To the maid that saw it (The maid from chapter 3) it represented the color of blood and "End" but to Grey it represented the color of a new dawn to him it feels as if it's telling him "A new beginning" is about to start.
It was the first time someone decided to befriend Grey without any motive.
People whether befriend Grey because they wanted his affection or people wanted something else from him.
Because of that Grey categorize people, the one who wanted affection and the one who wanted him to do something for them.
Grey thought that, that was the only type of people he didn't know he only met those kind of type...
But for the first time Grey.. Met someone that doesn't fit in those categories and that made him emotional.
And.. Yuzu only sat there as she watched Grey tears flowed... Without missing a second.
It was as if she's telling him,
"It's okay now, I'm here I heard your cries and plea, you are not a monster slaying person, you are Grey, and my friend.. Those feeling you had kept for years yearning for one company, share them with me grey... "
"Thank you... My Lady... "
"Yeah.... "

"Are you done crying? "
"I- I didn't cry princess! "
