"Honey I'm so proud of you!" My mother chirp on the other side of the phone "keep up the good work!! Your father will be happy if he hears this"

"Yeah, thanks mom, I gotta go, take care" I said then hung up

I just got the greatest news of my senior life

I'll be a candidate to be a valedictorian for my graduation and that will happen if I get another straight A's next semester

Though it's not the time to celebrate yet because final exams are just around the corner

Studying is my favorite thing to do

Well there's actually nothing else that I'm good at except to STUDY

I'm glad too that I'm not struggling to put all those equations and stories inside my head for the exams unlike other students do

Cramming is not my thing too, I really hate people who procrastinate

We're well off though it's not my own money because my parents earned it themselves while staying far, far away from me

I'm staying at our house alone well, not entirely alone 'cause I'm with the maids who takes "care" of me

I'm used to.....

Eat alone

Study alone

Work alone

And do everything alone as much as possible

But that's not how life works because as they say 'no man is an island'

I always feel like I'm already satisfied with me being all by myself and I'm not going to lie

There's something inside of me that needs attention and love

I just don't know how and where to find it
