[P.O.V changed to Emile]
"I invite you to join our Loki familia"
I felt my whole world freeze when I heard Riveria say that.
The last week was the most beautiful time of my life, Our familia managed to get rid of all of our dirty businesses, We didn't had to do dirty jobs just to earn a handful of valis.
There was no more pain.
No more sadness.
For the first time in my life I actually saw smiles on the faces of my familia members Which would usually be covered with depression and self loathing.
What was the reason for all of this?
It wasn't because all of us turned to a new leaf or that the bad people of the familia had a change of heart.
It was none of those.
Instead all of it was because of this one man sitting calmly on his chair.
It is his presence alone which made all of the bad people of the familia think twice before continuing their shady businessess.
He got rid of those who didn't obeyed his orders.
He ruled the familia with an iron fist.
But he never once took advantage of us.
Instead he even used his own money to treat the ones suffering in the cellars.
But now.
What if he accepted Riveria's proposal?
I'm a selfish person.
I know that someone like him will definitely shine brighter than before if he were to change his familia to one of the two most powerful ones.
In fact what do we have to offer to someone as good as him.
Nothing.
Absolutely nothing.
*Thud*
As soon as my train of thoughts reached this point I dropped backward right out of the room's entrance.
I quickly moved my head and looked up to see his figure.
"!!!"
But my attention is drawned by the one standing right beside the wall who has been silently listening all this time.
God Soma.
He stood there silently with his hands clenched into fists, He saw me looking at him and gestured with his eyes for me to keep quiet about him being there.
I listen to his demand and then turn my head and look at boss awaiting his response.
My heart almost reached my throat when I saw him open his mouth.
"I refuse"
As always he replied in his monotonous tone, not showing any feeling of either sadness or joy as he rejected Riveria's proposal.
I released a sigh of relief as I heard his reply.
It was then that I remembered about God Soma as I quickly looked at him standing by the door.
He still stood there like he did before but I can clearly see his clenched fists relax.
"Can I know the reason?"
Riveria, perhaps not believing that she has been rejected asked in a surprised tone.
I peeked at God Soma and saw his ears perked up when he heard Riveria's question.
"Let me ask you instead.."
William continued
"Why do you think that I would join the Loki familia?"
Asked William as he looked as Riveria.
Riveria seemed shocked by her question being answered with another question as she stops for a while and then say.
"Isn't it obvious"
"Oh and what's so obvious about it?"
"How can you even compare our Loki familia with the Soma familia."
My shoulders dropped when I heard Riveria say that in a tone filled with absolute confidence like it's the most natural thing.
"I really don't understand what someone like you sees in a familia like the Soma familia"
"It is filled with idiotic people"
"All they care about is the divine wine and nothing more"
"They would only ruin a gem such as yourself"

God Soma's head kept dropping lower and lower as he heard Riveria say her criticism, it was almost reaching his chest
"And let us not even mention that Go----"
"Riveria Ljos Alf..."
A monotonous voice stopped Riveria from continuing her sentence.
*Clank*
Ais Wallenstein quickly gets up from her seat and takes out desperate from its sheath as she puts up a tense facial expression.
You can't blame her.
As there's an intense bloodlust coming out of William right now.
"Forget not where you stand"
William said in a calm manner but his words and the atmosphere was anything but calm.
"This is not your Loki familia, but my Soma familia."
"Yet knowing this you dare...."
William slowly gets up from his seat as he continues.
"You dare disrespect my people"
William lifts up his sword leaning against his table.
"You dare disrespect my familia"
William places his hand on the swords ice cold handle.
"But most of all you dare disrespect my God"
*Clank*
William pulls out his sword from its sheath and points it straight at Riveria.
"I might not be a match for you a lvl6 but that does not give you the right to spout such blasphemy."
"..."
Momentary silence enveloped the room.
Just as William's bloodlust was getting even stronger.
"I apologize for what I said"
Riveria stands up and gives a bow towards William while apologizing.
"It was my mistake, I hope that you would forget what I just said."
As soon as she finishes her words.
The bloodlust coming out of William disappears like it was never there to begin with.
*Clank*
William placed his sword back into its sheath as he once again sat down on his seat.
*Thumb*Thumb*
The two Adventurer's responsible for carrying the crates quickly drops on their buts as cold sweats covered their foreheads.
"I hope it will not happen again"
William said in a calm voice.
*nod*
Riveria gives a nod as she gestures towards Ais to put away her rapier.
The room once again retains its calm as they started discussing some other stuff.
Emile who is still sitting on the floor doesn't pay any attention to William and Riveria's further conversation.
Her attention right now is fixed on one person.
God Soma.
He is just silently standing there not saying anything about what Riveria said.
But then.
Perhaps it was my imagination but I saw a light of determination start burning in his eye.
Just when I was wondering if I should say something.
He turned around and left just like he came not making a single sound.

[P.O.V changed to William]
I might have gone a little overboard just now.
These thoughts were going through William's mind as he saw the two Adventurer's drop on the ground.
'I should control my bloodlust more...'
It actually isn't so hard to use bloodlust.
All you need to do is think about killing the person whom you want to use it on
And perhaps it's because of [Cold blooded] which makes my thoughts way more focused than anyone elses that my bloodlust shows such amazing results.
As for anger.
That was me acting and nothing else
Why would I feel anger about things which are a absolutely true.
You might ask why did I put up the act then?.
Well let me explain it to you with an example.
Now I think you yourself know better then anyone else about how shit your school actually is.
You and your friends from the same school can critsise your school as much as you want.
After all it's your school and you have the right to do so.
But
Let's suppose a student from another school came to your school and started to heavily criticise your school and said how much better his school is when compared to yours.
Now regardless of how much of an ass you are and agree with him on the inside.
On the outside you will only show one thing.
If war is what you want then war is what you'll get B*tch.
We can say whatever we want about our school but you cannot.
It's as simple as that.
