Chapter 13: The Shadow Crow

Lucas stood in the forest, observing his new form as a Shadow Crow. He was astounded by the noticeable increase in his stats and was eager to traverse the world and uncover all the new abilities that came with his transformation. As he looked around, he observed that the other creatures in the forest appeared to be intimidated by him. He wondered why they were so frightened and decided to peruse the journal he had acquired to gain more insight into his new race.

The journal depicted the Shadow Crow as a rare but not exclusive breed of creatures known for their shadow control ability. They were depicted as silent hunters, able to effortlessly move through the shadows to launch their attacks. Their cunning and quick, deadly strikes were what set them apart.

Lucas was in awe of the power and agility of his new form, but at the same time, felt a sense of discomfort. The journal portrayed the Shadow Crow as a creature of the night, only emerging from the shadows to hunt their prey, which made Lucas question if he too was now a monster to be feared. As he continued to roam the forest, Lucas noticed that he could now move even more quietly than before, and the other creatures seemed to be even more intimidated by him.

He soon realized that he had a new passive ability, stealth, which allowed him to blend into the shadows, making it easier for him to move unnoticed and take his enemies by surprise. Although Lucas was thrilled with his new abilities, he was also fearful. He felt as though he was becoming more like the Shadow Crow described in the journal, a creature of the night feared by all. But at the same time, he was proud of his new race and the power that came with it. He knew he had to use his abilities for good and protect those who were weaker than him. In the end, Lucas realized that his race was not meant to be feared, but respected.

The Shadow Crow was a powerful race, one that was meant to defend and protect, and as he continued to explore the world, he was honored to be a Shadow Crow and use his abilities to help those in need.
