Kazuma is carrying the Slimey Megumin on his back, while Aqua is following just crying about the traumatizing and embarrassing failure she has shown for the second time already.

Kazuma is sick of Aqua crying everyday, she's literally a baby who cries everyday if she doesn't get her bottled milk.

Kazuma wants to punch Aqua, but he already knows that it's going to make her cry more.

So he stops and looks at Aqua.

Megumin wonders what Kazuma stopped for.

"Oi, Aqua."

Kazuma calls out to Aqua who stopped walking because she saw Kazuma stop.

Aqua rubs her tears as she waits for Kazuma to say what he is going to say.

He's probably going to scream out how useless I am… He's going to be mad again…

He's going to-

Kazuma puts a hand on Aqua's head, while Kazuma can already carry Megumin with one hand.

Kazuma:

"Look, Aqua. Can you.. Stop crying? I don't like you crying because, you already know I don't like it but it makes me feel bad."

Kazuma is obviously lying, he just wants Aqua to shut up for now.

"You did alright today, and that's what matters. Uh, I don't care if you are useless, I'm uh glad that you're here."

Kazuma isn't really good at situations like this, he's not known for comforting people but looking at Aqua, she seems convinced by Kazuma's ass words.

Aqua nods as she smiles.

"T-thank you, Kazuma… I thought you would scream at me again…"

K.I.M: "I was planning to. But I don't want a screaming Aqua right now, that's the last thing I wanna hear today."

Kazuma rubs his head as he also smiles back to Aqua.

"Don't sweat it Aqua. We're now a team right? We help each other, even at the hardest and toughest times, we will still be a team no matter what."

Aqua is starting to see Kazuma as a different person than he is when they were in the afterlife.

But deep inside that Aqua doesnt know, he is still the same asshole.

"Oh by the way, Megumin."

He now turns to Megumin.

"It's nice that you are very powerful and have proven that but there's a bit of a problem.

You can only cast one explosion at a time right? Would it be kind of you to not use it not unless it's for emergencies? I mean there's a lot of cool spells you can learn and also-

Megumin grabs Kazuma's shoulders tightly.

She looks at him.

"I refuse."

Kazuma looks at Megumin.

"Huh?? What do you mean you refuse??"

He asks Megumin who seems to be serious about what she said.

Megumin explains to Kazuma why she can't use any other spells, as a figure saw the three but it decides to step back for now.
