4 Chapter 4: Izana's Secret!

"Focus your POD more," Izana heard for the umpteenth time today as he stared at his brother's azure eyes.
Sirzechs found little time to train his brother most of the time and Izana was grateful for that, he was a long way away from mastering the true extent of POD but with his high reserves, Izana had to prioritize over having full control over his POD rather than gaining more- after all, he wouldn't gain anything from wasting his energy.
Izana raised his right index finger and pointed it to Sirzechs, his finger letting loose a brilliant glow as Izana flicked his finger forward, an orb of POD bursting to life and shooting toward Sirzechs at an alarming rate.
Sirzechs merely scoffed and smacked the ball away much to Izana's surprise, The orb of POD collided with the ground and kicked up a lot of dust.
"Your POD has reached a very intense level for your age," Sirzechs said, "Sometimes I still wonder if you're only 5 years old, but I feel there's more room for improvement. After all, you've barely gotten to half of your reserves,"
Izana nodded, while he had a huge ass amount of POD reserves- he could only utilize a quarter from it and in real battles, that would hold him back a lot so Sirzechs wanted him to be able to utilize the full extent of his Power Of Destruction and be able to draw upon it at will.
"Still what's the flick for?" Sirzechs asked.
"It looks cool," Izana replied.
"I guess it does but it sacrifices seconds of preparation time," Sirzechs said.
Izana sighed a bit, the preparation time used in each attack was one of the most important things Sirzechs prioritized in, If your preparation time was delayed, your opponent could find a way to defeat you easily BUT Izana really didn't think a single flick could lead to the end of a battle.
After all, it took him like 5 seconds to-
[You mean 3.5 seconds Babe]
Yeah it took him 3.5 seconds to make a flick, 3.5 seconds couldn't surely kill him now, could it?
'Wait, you were counting?' Izana was genuinely surprised.
"Big brother, it's just 3 seconds of Preparation time- I couldn't end up dead or defeated during that time," Izana said.
Sirzechs sighed.
"In this life, you will meet a lot of devils and even some fallen angels, you might also go to the Human world and make human friends but-" Sirzechs said while flicking Izana's head…

"Preparation and Mastery are the key to every battle," Sirzechs said.
Izana nodded and then pushed away from Sirzechs, jumping about two meters backward and steadying himself.
"I want to try again," Izana said and Sirzechs nodded, Izana pulled his finger back for a flick but not only did he gather POD in his index finger but also his thumb, a thin coating of POD shrouded both fingers as Izana shot forth a ball made out of POD.
It was far stronger than the one he had shot before and a bit larger, Izana felt a little bit happy- This was something he couldn't do in his past life… Getting better at things were really hard for him, adapting to them was harder and Izana guessed that was part of the reason Mai didn't take him seriously but Izana was sure, after his experience with Mai, he was sure he would never be able to give his heart to another woman BUT this was High School DxD, if he couldn't give them his hearts… He could still have a Harem and a Peerage as well. There was no rule in this world saying otherwise.
Izana felt that it was time to start playing his cards, or else he would be getting Grayfia a little too late.
Sirzechs was surprised at the concentration of the POD that was confined within the orb, As he tried to slap it away- he could feel it was a whole lot stronger than the earlier balls that Izana had fired but nevertheless the Maou slapped it away quite easily.
"That was quite an excellent attack if I do say so myself," Sirzechs said and dusted his hands, "You're truly becoming a strong High-ranking devil, Izana,"
"Thank you Big brother," Izana said and leaned closer to his Big brother, his blue eyes flashing, "Brother, do you have any intentions of getting married?"
Sirzechs was already about 170 years old- Izana didn't know how old he was at the start of the manga or anime but surely the man was not supposed to be that old was he?
"No, not yet," Sirzechs said and Izana gave him an understanding nod.
With all of the work that followed being the current Maou, Izana was sure that there was no way for Sirzechs to be thinking of getting married nevertheless having a child and this was the precise moment to go after Grayfia who was his loyal maid.
There were many ways to take Grayfia from Sirzechs and Izana knew he had to work quickly, there was always a chance that budding love could be existing within them.
"Alright Brother," Izana said, "I'm going to my room to freshen up,"
Sirzechs watched his brother leave, the boy had great potential in POD and magic alike and he believed that with time, Izana would reach the level of a Maou.
But he behaved a lot more older than his age, Sirzechs was only able to visit few times but he was quickly made aware that there were no children round the Castle apart from Izana and Rias... and Izana had no other friends to talk to, it would be quite a while before Rias would grow enough to have a conversation with her brother.
'Oh Grayfia should be bringing our tea by now,' Sirzechs thought and leaned against the tree in the backyard.
He was feeling really lazy right now and wanted nothing more than to sleep but he had to wait on Grayfia.

Izana entered the castle and was heading to his living quarters which was very near the Balcony, he honestly would have preferred to fly all the way to the Balcony on his devil wings but he had a reason for walking.
"Ah Master Izana, are you done with training?"
