5 Chapter 5

Tatsuya already had a plan in mind.

With the gift he received from the system in the beginning, he had a perfect target in mind to f*ck.

The Space Isolation Barrier would basically erect an invisible barrier around him. No one would notice anything within the barrier.

It would essentially make the area inside the dome invisible.

As Tatsuya was lost in his thoughts, Hasabe continued to tease Kei, who would sometimes reply proudly or stutter in embarrassment.

Hirata smiled, observing their interaction, and then turned to Tatsuya, asking, "What about you, Tatsuya-kun? Is there anyone in class whom you have a crush on?"

Tatsuya, upon hearing the question, fell silent. Kei and Hasabe were both extremely interested in the topic.

Tatsuya was someone whom practically every girl in class was drooling over.

He had a charming appearance and a muscular build that was clearly visible even under his uniform.

His hair was silky smooth, and his skin was fair.

He was kind, gentle, and always ready to help. He was also enjoyable to talk to and skilled in combat.

(Drop some images, I'll choose the best one for his appearance.)

Not to mention, he was undoubtedly one of the top scorers in exams, demonstrating his high intelligence. It was as if he were a perfect person.

Hasabe thought that if she were to use a manga term to describe him, it would be a 'Gary Sue.'

Most of the boys trying to approach her always ended up lusting after her without really caring about her as a person, leading her to ignore most of them.

Tatsuya was different; he showed genuine interest in her personality instead of just lusting after her.

As Hasabe was lost in thought, she noticed Tatsuya glancing at her and was stunned.

'Could it be?' Her heart rate increased, and wild thoughts filled her mind. However, Tatsuya quickly shifted his gaze away from her.

"Well, this is awkward. I guess I still haven't thought about it, but I'm not really opposed to a relationship." Tatsuya gave a suggestive glance to Kei and Hirata. "After all, that's a part of school life. Wouldn't it be boring to spend it alone?"

Hasabe calmed herself down and replied, "Yeah, looking at you two, I get jealous. I wonder when I'll find a boyfriend."

Kei, aggravated by Hasabe's teasing, took the opportunity to get back at her, saying, "Hah, why do you have to find one? Isn't Tatsuya-kun here? Or are you saying you don't like Tatsuya-kun?"

Hasabe stumbled for words, "Huh? W-Wait, w-what. Of course, I like Tatsuya-kun! W-Wait, I don't mean it like tha- ah." She felt like burying her head in embarrassment.

Hirata couldn't control his laughter, and Kei had a smug expression that essentially said, 'Take that, b*tch!'

Tatsuya waved his hands, "Come on, let's not make her uncomfortable. Ignore Karuizawa, Hasabe-chan; she just wants to tease you."

"Thank you."

'So considerate,' Hasabe thought, feeling her heart pounding gently as she gazed at his soft smile and gentle eyes.

But was Kei going to let it rest like that?

"Hehe, Tatsuya-kun, could it be you don't have any interest in Hasabe-chan, and that's why you're stopping me?"

"Huh?" Hasabe let out a surprised gasp and snapped her head towards Tatsuya. Hirata's lips twitched as Tatsuya looked at him with an expression that said, 'Control your girl.'

"Hey, hey, let it rest, Kei-chan. You're stirring up trouble."

"Huh? You're not even going to take the side of your girlfriend?" Karuizawa said in anger and puffed her cheeks as she walked away in anger.

Hasabe couldn't understand what was going on; she felt dizzy from the pace of the conversation.

Hirata gave Tatsuya and Hasabe an apologetic look, "I'm sorry, I'll go get her. Let's do karaoke on another day!" He ran after her.

Tatsuya wasn't stunned like Hasabe. How could he miss the subtle glances Karuizawa was giving Hirata?

They both left to give him and Hasabe space. He knew they were 'wing-manning' him; he had already expected this, which is why he specifically only invited these two to come with him and Hasabe.

"Ah, they left," he muttered before turning to Hasabe. "Looks like we won't be able to do karaoke today..."

"Oh," Hasabe agreed and nodded with some disappointment. She felt a bit nervous and didn't know what to say; she hoped that he didn't find her awkward silence weird.

"How about we go to the cafe instead? It's my treat since I'm the one who arranged the plan, and we might as well do something. It would be a pity to leave like this, don't you think so, Hasabe-chan?"

She didn't know if it was an illusion or a trick of her mind, but she could most definitely hear a sweet undertone in his voice when he called her name.

It sent a shiver down her spine, and she hurriedly smiled, "Yes, of course! Let's go."

With that, Tatsuya constantly engaged in small talk with Hasabe to ensure she didn't feel anxious or nervous. Soon, they were laughing and chuckling with each other.

But just then, from the back of the building, two pairs of eyes peeked out. It was Karuizawa and Hirata.

"Hehehe, it worked, Hirata-kun," Kei chuckled with glee, and Hirata joined her in her laughter.

"Tatsuya's just too good of a speaker. When he talks, it makes people comfortable around him."

"True, true!"

She nodded excitedly.

...

Pallet Cafe was the most popular cafe in the school.

But there was a single problem: it was usually filled with girls, and most boys hesitated to enter it.

When Tatsuya and Hasabe entered the cafe, they were greeted by an odd sight.

"Ah, isn't that Ayanokouji-kun, Kushida-chan, and the arrogant girl?" When she said 'arrogant girl,' there was a hint of distaste in her voice.

Tatsuya didn't find it surprising.

Horikita was pretty arrogant and refused to communicate with others; as such, she wasn't well-liked by most of the girls in the class.

Hasabe felt that it was a pretty unfortunate coincidence.

But Tatsuya didn't care; he had deliberately created this situation after all.
