Tatsuya felt that he hadn't performed too poorly. He didn't want to interact with her too much in the beginning.
As long as she held some curiosity towards him, it was fine.
As Tatsuya headed out, he bumped into someone.
It was Ayanokouji.
Ayanokouji paused, seeing him, and an awkward silence ensued. Tatsuya laughed, breaking the atmosphere. "Haha, what a coincidence. Are you going to buy groceries as well?"
"Yeah," Ayanokouji nodded. "You already finished purchasing your stuff?"
Tatsuya nodded and walked past Ayanokouji while patting his shoulder. "Since I consider you a friend, let me give you some advice. Keep the use of your points minimal."
Ayanokouji turned back and gazed at Tatsuya's receding back with a face devoid of expression, his thoughts unknown.
He walked into the convenience store and was a bit surprised to see Horikita standing in front of the cosmetics section with a frown.
Horikita noticed him, "What an unpleasant coincidence..."
"You don't have to be that cautious. We should get along since we sit next to each other. Can you tell me your name?"
"Would it bother you if I refused to both?" Horikita took a few bottles of cheap shampoo and handwash, stuffing them in her basket.
"Not really... Though it'll feel odd not knowing my deskmate's name." He looked towards her basket and paused before asking, "Did Tatsuya-kun tell you to save points?"
Horikita, who was picking a soap bar, paused and turned towards Ayanokouji. "Is 'Tatsuya-kun' the boy who was talking to you earlier in class?"
Ayanokouji nodded and took note of how Horikita's frown subtly turned deeper.
"No, he didn't."
"Then why are you buying cheap things?" He picked up a fancy-looking face wash, "This one seems bett-"
"I do not wish to."
Horikita turned to leave but stopped, "My name is Horikita Suzune, but do not misunderstand. I do not wish to be friends with you or anyone for that matter. I'm only telling you my name out of pity."
She spoke without turning her head, and Ayanokouji felt depressed, but in that exact moment, he heard a loud voice.
"What the f*ck did you say to me?" The voice was aggressive, and Ayanokouji instantly recognized it. It was the red-headed delinquent-looking guy who refused to introduce himself.
Ayanokouji hurried outside just to hear a certain set of words.
"Class D? No wonder, hahaha."
Just as he walked outside, he noticed three guys walking off and the angry redhead balling his fists in anger, as if he would attack them.
"Hmph!" He kicked the trash can in anger. Ayanokouji wanted to talk to him but he left.
Horikita walked out and noticed him.
"It's better to not concern yourself with such people."
???
She left, and Ayanokouji looked at her before staring at the camera at the corner of the wall.
He picked the trash can up, his thoughts unknown.

Days passed by.
Initially, the students were serious in class, but when they noticed the teachers were extremely lenient, they turned unruly.
Some talked, while some played games. There were even some like Sudo who directly slept in class, ignoring the teachers.
Horikita couldn't believe her eyes.
Was this the best school in Japan?
Preposterous!
She looked towards Tatsuya, who was seriously listening in class and then looked towards Ayanokouji.
Ayanokouji's expression was dull, but she could sense the disdain present in the eyes of Tatsuya as he glanced at the unruly students.
It was lunchtime, and Horikita took out a sandwich and started eating it. Tatsuya left the class with the girls and Hirata.
Ayanokouji, who wanted to invite Tatsuya, was a bit sad. Horikita looked at him with disdain.
Ayanokouji, who thought of inviting her, retracted that idea and left the classroom.
Just as he left the classroom, he was stopped by a certain individual.
She had a BIG rack.
It was Kushida Kikiyou.
Tatsuya saw this interaction from the window of the class and narrowed his eyes.
He called Hirata over.

Time went by, and class ended, students started leaving one by one. Hirata and Tatsuya were surrounded as usual.
Ayanokouji let out a sigh, seeing Tatsuya being surrounded.
"How pathetic."
Ayanokouji looked over to Horikita, "Can you please stop hurting me."
Horikita ignored his words, "This school is really indulgent, huh? Students nap, play around, and don't focus in class. Even the teachers don't say anything. Is this really an advanced high school nurtured by the government?"
Her voice was solemn, and Ayanokouji, who was getting up, paused, "Hey, since class ended, can you come somewhere with me?"
Horikita looked at him with an odd expression.
"Where?"
"It's the popular cafe by the mall. I think it's called Pallet. But since the cafe lets out a 'boys aren't allowed' vibe, I feel scared going alone."
"You really don't have anyone else to invite?" She paused and looked towards Tatsuya, who had yet to leave.
Ayanokouji shook his head and said with a somewhat sad tone, "He's going Karaoke with Hirata, Karuizawa, and Hasabe."
Horikita also saw this, "I guess not." She sneered, "Looks like your only friend doesn't consider you a friend... Very well."
...
Tatsuya, Hirata, Karuizawa, and Hasabe happily chatted with each other on the way to Karaoke.
The plan was brought up by Tatsuya.
Tatsuya and Hasabe were on the edge, while Kei and Hirata were in the middle of the group.
Tatsuya nudged Hirata's shoulder, "You work fast, huh."
Hearing his words, Kei blushed slightly, and Hirata rubbed the back of his head, "It just happened, I guess."
Hasabe curled her lips up as her blue hair brushed against the wind, "Hehe, Kei-chan works fast as well. Who proposed first?"
"Ah, it was Hirata-kun," she said with a proud smile, and Hasabe laughed.
Tatsuya also smiled while subtly glancing at Hirata, who had a helpless look.
What a pair of fake lovers.
