Chapter 12

<A few weeks later>

{POV: Kai Carter/Yellow Flash}

This time, actually not a lot has happened.

I trained a bit, which you can see at my 17% Synchronisation and also used my Shadow Clone's to keep the city safe.

Crime rate has dropped a lot and I'm being seen as a hero. I mean currently, that does mean something but later, every second person is going to be called one, so I'm a little flattered, being called one now.

In Iron Man 2 he was kind of used as a war-deterrent and the same thing is currently happening to me.

I mean in WW2 the supersoldiers were supposed to help win the war, so having one person who can make 1000 clones that are even above supersoldier level is pretty usefull.

I also have a meeting soon, with the president.

There are talks, that I will get a medal awarded but honestly I don't think so because currently, the only thing I've done was, help Hulk a little and stop small time criminals.

I don't really care for a medal but I mean it would still be cool to be recognized for the work I've done.

Actually I haven't done that much, except summoning clones...

Ah but that will change in a couple months or about a year, when Ivan Vanko creates his drones.

Ahem...anyway I also had a couple more meetings with Fury and also told him to keep my limitations a secret to only him and Coulson. Even though it was pretty obvious, that he wouldn't tell it to anyone, giving a warning doesn't hurt.

I also strictly told him not to try using chakra. I said that, when you have a strong enough soul, you would feel it and also learn abilities like me.

So, since I absolutely lied with that stronger soul thing, he will never find someone who "has a strong enough soul" and eventually give up.

I also met Clint Barton/Hawkeye but just briefly. We didn't talk much and what we talked about was mostly work-related.

Hmmm, that was actually a lot more then I expected so I guess a lot DID happen, huh?

Today I wanted a little excercise, so I personally went out, to clean the city today.

On my patrol, I stopped small crimes like pursue theft or drunk drivers but nothing too special.

I mean it's kind of clear, with hundreds of me's, what kind of idiot would dare to commit crimes here?

*RINNNGG RINNNGG RINNNGG*

Just as I thought that, a bank alarm goes off.

Huh, I guess there is such an idiot.

Arriving infront of the bank, I first want to scout out the sitiuation but suddenly the front doors open and a man with a money bag runs outside and gets in a car before driving off.

I quickly mark the car before going into the bank. Having made sure, that everyone is alright, I quickly teleport to the car.

When I teleport there, I see that the car is already empty and parked infront of an abandoned warehouse.

Sneakily making my way inside, I finally spot the man again.

Before I couldn't get a good look at him, since I was more concerned about the people in the bank but now that I see him again, he kind of looks familiar.

Still, I can't seem to remeber who it really is. Maybe someone from the movies? Hmm...actually maybe someone from the comics, since the System said, this isn't just the MCU.

Looking at him, I see a average aged man, with a bright and dark green striped shirt and brown pants. He seems to be kind of dumb though, judging from him robbing a bank under my protection.

Ah who cares who he is? I'll just put him in jail and that's it.

Having decided that, I finally make myself known to him.

"Sorry but I don't think that money belongs to you." I say, as I appear behind him and chop his neck, to knock him out.

To my suprise, my hand just goes through his neck, while sand appears there.

Ah, now I remember again. It's Flint Marko/Sandman, one of the most popular super villains but not really powerful.

How did I not recognize him? Well, I mean, I didn't watch anything marvel related for over 20 years, since coming to this world. It should be alright to forget a little now and then.

Anyway, back to the fight.

Just as my hand passes through his neck, Sandman finally reacts, by turning around and swinging at me with a hammer made of sand.

I quickly duck under it and take a little distance. When he finally sees who I am, his eyes widen in shock.

"What are you doing here?!" He asks me.

"What do you think? Just relaxing in an abandoned warehouse, while trying to build a sandcastle and you?" I joke with him.

Ah yes, that's also something I picked up on. Everytime I get in a fight I start to joke around.

It's kind of become a habit and it actually is fun but it could lead to mistakes, in important fights.

Ahhh, I'll care about it, when the time comes.

Sandman looks a little angry at my joke, so he lunges forward with his body stretching with sand. "Ahhhhh!!" He screams while trying to attack me with his mace-like hand.

Obviously, I evade all his attacks effortlessly.

"Wake me up, when you're actually trying to hit me." I say, while still evading all his attacks, with my eyes closes.

"SHUT UP!!!" He screams, while punching towards me with a giant sand fist.

I dodge the fist, but it hits the wall behind me and destroys it. I decide to take it seriously, to stop him from damaging anymore.

I suddenly appear behind him and hit him with a [Rasengan] on the shoulder. Obviously normal attacks wouldn't work on him but the pressure generated from the [Rasengan] turns his shoulder into sandstone.

Sandman looks at this scene shocked. He probably wasn't injured, since he has become part sand.

He tries to retreat but I quickly move toward him and again hit him with a [Rasengan], on his abdomen.

To finish him, I use my newly learned jutsu.

[Water Release: Water Wall]

"Aghhhhh." Sandman screams while turning into mud.

Finally having him defeated, I teleport to SHIELD, let them know about Sandman and teleport back, to keep an eye on him.

After about half an hour, SHIELD finally arrived and took him away.

Being done for today, I make my way home. It was a pretty interesting encounter but I hope he doesn't bother coming back like every other villain.

I got more important things to deal with. Like preparing for Thanos.

Okay maybe I'm a little too fixated on him but come on who wouldn't be? He wants to wipe out half the universe after all.

Yeah I should probably just relax tomorrow and spend some time with Izzy.

{POV: Isabelle "Izzy" Carter}

Today my brother asked me, to go to an amusement park with him. I obviously said yes, since I want to spend time with him but he's alway busy.

When I ask what he's busy with, he just says "company things".

I know he isn't doing company things but I don't know what else he could be doing.

He always comes home late and sometimes even injured. He also lies from where he got his injuries from.

I mean come on, who would belive such an arm injury to be caused by a motorbike accident?

I am really worried about him. Ever since my birth I only had him. Our parents died when I was just born, so I didn't know them and thus couldn't grief for them, however it hit my brother hard.

I know he doesn't want me to see him sad, so he just keeps his happy attitude infront of me but sometimes I see him being very sad.

When he notices, that I saw him sad, he quickly regains his happy attitude and just makes a lame excuse for his sadness like company problems.

I can see how much he cares for me but I can't express myself well. So when I am trying to say, that he should be more careful, I in reality am just scolding him.

I really wish, I could tell him how much I love him in better ways.

He was always there for me and my only friend until I met Doreen(Doreen Green/Squirrel Girl). Yes she can be a little weird sometimes but honestly, she's still a great friend.

I can always talk to her about my problems and worries without being annoying to her.

Anyway...currently me and Kai are taking a break from riding rollercoasters and eating ice cream.

"So, are you enjoying yourself?" Kai asks me.

"Yeah but I wish Doreen could've been here, it would've been more fun with more people right? Unfortunately she had something to do today." I awnser him.

He doesn't seem to like Doreen that much I think. I mean he's probably just a little weirded out from her but I'm sure they'll be great friends one day.

"Hmm alright, it's already late so let's go home for today." He says.

"Let's just ride one more rollercoaster okay?" I ask him to which he just nods after a small pause.

After finishing that, we finally went home in his car.

Yeah so my day was actually pretty enjoyable...
