POV RUNE.

The next time I opened my eyes I was greeted with a deafening silence; however, something soon caught my attention.

"Hey! Who the hell are you!?" My eyes slowly opened, and my environment was completely different. Blood red water bellow my feet, skulls of all kinds layered in every direction…

'Sukunas innate domain.' I noted. Looking towards the direction of the voice, I was met with a young boy. A patch of blonde hair, black new growth. Dressed in the traditional Jujutsu Tech uniform.

With light brown eyes piercing at me with confusion, irritation, and hatred… For the guy right next to him. "Argh! Why do people keep popping up inside of me!?" It was no doubt Yuji Itadori. And next to him was the famed Ryomen Sukuna in all his glory.

His black markings were a lot less… cooler? In person. It was kind of underwhelming. However, his presence was suffocating. 'It feels like his presence is trying to disturb my mind… It's kind of irritating.' I wasn't scared though, he didn't intimidate me like I thought he would.

'Maybe its due to my soul being strengthened.' I mentally shrugged. "I'm curious too… I never let you in here, yet you intrude in my domain." Sukuna spoke, his tone was that of amusement and interest.

"However, you don't seem like much." And that's when it hit me. Without even a chance to speak up for myself, I was cleaved straight in two. The pain was unbearable, it made me want to scream and cry. I've never been split in two before and still be conscious of it.

But the pain didn't last long. I felt my body immediately reconnect, the strange disconnect from my other half was disorienting but I was left with a satisfying feeling when I was whole again.

Sukunas eyes widened and so did Yuji', though his reaction was a lot more dramatic. "W-What!? He just reconnected!" 'Damn, he really is loud…'

"Well… What a first impression you two have left me with." I spoke, my voice was different… It sounded deeper, raspier but a lot more… Attractive. 'That's weird.' I mentally noted it but decided to keep up my appearance.

"I am Rune." A silence was all that greeted me. 'Shit… I should've thought of what else to say sooner.' I never had to give a menacing introduction before. I feel powerful, I feel like I could do anything.

But my words couldn't express that.

"Rune? Like Rune Scape?" Yuji was the one to speak up, however, I seemed to have interrupted something between the two. Sukuna didn't take his eyes off me as he cleaved Yuji' head clean off his shoulders.

This was without a doubt the time when Yuji had died and made his binding vow. Him losing wasn't something I was going to interrupt anyway. It was just unfortunate.

Yuji's body dropped and it immediately dissipated, signaling he had woken up in the real world. When Gojo spots me, it might be an issue, but it won't be a big one. He won't kill Yuji. Especially if it's just to try and kill me.

Itadori still has his mission.

"Rune, huh. Seems like you're proficient in more than just spontaneously materializing in someone else's home." I shrug.

"I don't know how I'm here either. But it is interesting that I get to meet the King of Curses himself." Sukuna chuckles. "What do you want." Sukuna gets straight to the point.

I hum, 'Should I be honest? He'll deny me any type of teachings and I'm sure he'll be able to see straight through any lies.' My mind settles on one thing. "Now that I'm trapped here. The only reasonable thing I want is to get out."

"You want to take over this brat's body as well? Heh, seems like we both have the same goal." He states, hopping back on his throne of Skulls, allowing him to look down on me.

"Those markings show that you're just like me… A curse rather than a blessing." His words catch me off guard, but I try my best to mask it up. Slowly glancing down at my exposed chest, torso, shoulders, and arms, I try and make sense of the black tattoos that now litter my upper body. 'Dragons…' "You can say that. What happened to you? What could've possibly gotten the King of Curses into such a predicament?" My tone was mocking, I'm trying to play the part, but this is beginning to get fun.

Sukuna scowled, his canines showing as he opened his mouth. "An insect like you has no right to question me. Know your place." And then it happened again, he attempted to Cleave me only for me to regenerate before my torso and legs could be fully separated.

I grit my teeth, feeling my own agitation and anger rise. "You know… That hurts." Sukuna grinned, his eyes full of contempt, amusement and clear judgement.

'He's playing with me… He's not even at his peak and he still acts high and mighty. Well let's see just how I compare to a two finger Sukuna.'

"Does it? You're not the first to tell me that." Cracking my neck, I do some quick calf raises, feeling the extremely packed, and powerful muscles in my legs tense. "Really? Then am I the first to do this?"

With speed that surprised even me, I appeared right in front of the cocky king and threw an overhand right with all my might. Sukuna' eyes widened but he still intercepted me. Raising his guard, he blocked with one arm, but it audibly cracked and he was sent flying off his throne.

Standing where he was in all my glory, I was the one looking down on him.

The one looking down on the True Strongest in this verse.

Dust settled and Sukuna dusted off his clothes, his top was now removed, and his right arm had already been healed. His once mocking gaze was replaced with one of excitement and expectation.

"Haha! You're not half bad! For someone that didn't use an ounce of cursed energy you pack a punch!" I grinned, feeling my own blood begin to rush.

"Well, there's more where that came from." Sukuna dashed towards me, his fingers stretched like claws as I met him in the middle, dashing down from his throne and destroying it in the process.

We came to a slight stand still, but in the end, I won the clash. Just before he got sent away though, he said something.

"Then show me!"

This was my first victory against the Vilest Curse to ever walk the earth.
