The atmosphere was a little awkward.

She was stunned. Why did he suddenly ask to meet again. Wasn't it a one night stand last night. She looked up in his eyes: "Why"

Gerard smiled: "I think it was a good time for both of us. So, why don't we meet again. Of course, only if you liked it too." He further shortened the distance between them, lowered his head, and placed his hands on the fleshy hips of the girl and rubbed them

Anne was stunned by such a hot way of flirting, this guy is too much. if it was the previous Anne Davis, then she might've agreed immediately, but she's not. She's a mature woman who has dealt with a lot of such situations. She indeed like handsome men and the man in front of her satisfies almost all of her preferences, but her current situation is way too complicated to be engaged in any kind of romance.

Anne raised her head and kissed the man whose head was closer to her.

The girl kissed him, and Gerard coperated. Does this mean she agrees?. Just as he was about to deepen the kiss and remove the clothes from the girl opposite to him, he heard the girl speak in his ear: "Sorry, but there's no next time."

Anne didn't know what happened after she left. She took a taxi and gave the address in her memory.

The door opened and she saw the young Mateo standing in front of the her. He saw her and jumped on her. " You stayed outside whole night. Aunt Stella is angry."

Anne pulled Mateo away from her and said: "I know." From her memory, she knew that Stella Baker was a strong independent woman who divorced early due to her husband's cheating. She was an editor at "Macmillan", a well paying stable job. She had no children, so, after the death of her sister and brother-in-law, she adopted her nephew and niece. She took care of them very well, but was also strict in terms of discipline.

As the two siblings went inside, Anne saw Stella Baker, her aunt sitting in the living room, drinking tea.

She saw them coming and looked at Anne: "You stayed all night outside."

Anne knew it was the mistake from previous self, so she accepted it without giving any excuses: "I am sorry."

Stella was surprised that her niece accepted the mistake and even said sorry. The Anne in her memory was a rebellious adolescent teen who had started to get into many bad habits, especially since she was a famous child actor. But now her niece was accepting her mistakes, it really made her surprised.

Anne was expecting a scolding or a serious punishment, but she only heard Stella say: "Be careful next time, now go change, your breakfast is placed on the table."

Anne was surprised, but when she thought about it, she understood Stella's actions and nodded. Stella really is an intelligent woman. Knowing that she is sixteen now and many previous restrictions on her have become invalid or loose, Stella chose to forgive her instead of scolding. In this way, it can not only make her guilty but also will not cause a quarrel.

Anne nodded and went to her bedroom on the second floor. She appreciated Stella's approach very much.
