9 The Queen

*No One's POV*

Sarah and Victoria went back inside the castle and walked down the hall to a door, which was meant to contain prisoners and a little torture. There were 2 guards blocking the door to the prisoners. Once the guards saw Victoria, they opened the door for Victoria and Sarah to pass.

*Sarah's POV*

Heading down the spiral staircase was kind of eerie. I could see but, there was this cold feeling. I don't quite like this feeling; I'm just going to have to push through if I want answer from that b*stard who tried to murder my lo-...um I mean the queen. We are getting close to the bottom of the staircase, and you could hear metal chain being dragged across the floor. That wasn't the only thing, you could hear people screaming, shouting, and cursing. Plus, there was a strong smell of iron, which probably meant that there was a lot of blood down here.

When we got to the cell door where the assassinator was, I saw that he was chained to the wall with a beaten face. There were tools in there too, torture tools. I guess it's going to get bloody, but it could get gory.

Victoria: "Alright Sarah, if you can't stomach blood or gore, face away, if you can, I'll encourage you to watch."

Sarah: "Of course I can stomach it, if I couldn't, I wouldn't be here."

Victoria: "Then let's get started shall we. Oh, I am going to enjoy this."

Sarah: "Wait. I don't want you to dirty your hands, I'll do it."

If you're wondering why I'm not scared, honestly, I myself don't even know why I offered. This is going to be my first-time torturing anyone. I know I should be scared, but for some reason, I'm just not. Grabbing a jaw opener and walking up to the assassinator, I pried his mouth open to check and see if there was anything that could make him commit su.icide. Good there is nothing.

Sarah: Astra, is it possible for you to search for the best method for torture. Can you also give me the background of this person?

[Astra]: **Gasp** How dare you not believe in me. Of course, I can, just give me a couple of second. Got it. I will transfer it into your mind. Umm...a little warning, it will hurt a little bit.

Sarah: I'll try to handle the pain, so transfer it. Ugh, that hurts, but not as bad as the first time. Oh, I'm so glad we ran a background check on him. I take back what I said, I think I know the best method of torture.

[Astra]: Um....then I'll just leave you to it then. I'm just going to disappear for a bit. Bye.

Sarah: "Now, then. Who do you work for and why attack the queen?"

Assassinator: "I'll never tell you. You can torture me all you like; you will get nothing out of me. NOTHING!!!"

*2 Hours Later*

Stretching my body feels so good after a 2-hour torture. I won't get into details about it, but all I will say is that he will never have kids again. Well, it's not like he can escape anyway so, i guess it doesn't matter that he can't have kids. Anyways, we, the queen and I, found out who hired the assassinator to kill the queen. Now all we have to do is arrest them. Walking down the hall to get into the meeting room, we bumped into Anne.

Victoria: "Ah, Anne, I was looking for you."

Anne: "What can I do to help you your majesty?"

Victoria: "Get some of the soldiers ready. We are going to arrest the people who sent the assassins. Three nobles who are men had sent the assassin to kill me because they don't like that I'm the ruler. We are going to go arrest them and show them what happen when they try to kill me."

Anne: "Yes, your majesty. I will ready the soldiers."

Once Anne walked away, the queen turns around and faced me. Her face was kind of red and the tip of her ears, were pink.

Victoria: "You are going to have to wear something to a banquet. I will be holding a banquet soon but, that's not all I'm going to say. Once this is over, I want to tell you something."

Sarah: "I don't have anything to wear for the banquet and for the last part, I'm here to listen."

*At 3 Evil Man Lairs*

The 3 evil man, sitting in a room, one with shaking legs, one with sweat on their forehead, and one trying to tell himself that everything will be alright. They have been like this for a while due to the fact that the assassinators have not come back yet. It was quiet in the room, yet in their minds, it was loud with the way their heart was beating fast.

1st Evil Man: I need to escape. This uneasy feeling is unnerving.

1st Evil Man: "I have an emergency, so I'll be going first"

Right as 1st Evil Man was about to leave, the door to the room they were in, was knocked down. Soon enough, palace soldiers filled the room with swords pointing at the 3 man. The soldiers gave room for the queen, Sarah, and Anne to enter the circle they around the 3 man.

Victoria: "Well, well, well, look what we have here. John, Ryan, and oh yes Philip. See, I knew that the 3 of you don't like when a women is in charge, but I never thought that you guys would go as far as to assassinate me, oh wait, yes I did. Just for the record, if a woman can't be in charge, then why would I let boys be? If it was a man, sure, but boys, yea that is a no. But even if there was a man, I would never give up the right to my throne, my kingdom, where the people are way happier than they use to be when my father was in charge. Anyways enough with the talk, soldiers, make sure you confiscate everything for evidence, oh and don't worry about your family John, Ryan, and Phillip. I won't punish them, they have done nothing wrong, plus, I'm pretty sure they hate all of your guts."

Anne: "Soldiers, start taking everything for evidence. I need 8 of you to guard the 3 men, oh wait, I mean boys."

John: "Bi.tch. I'll tear you apart. I'll tear you all apart."

Sarah: "Good luck with that. Now then, my queen, what was it that you wanted to tell me?"
