[DROPPED INDEFINITELY]Star Wars: The path to harmony

Well, if you have read my other fic, you probably know how this is going, the main character is a reincarnated individual from a futuristic version of our Earth ( year 10000+), he was 16 years old boy and scientist/soldier. He died in the war and was somehow reincarnated in the Star Wars universe, and his only advantage is knowledge and a few benefits that came directly from our universe which will be explained during the story. This story truly starts at 22 BBY, more or less at the beginning of the clone wars, before that though the first few chapters will tell a few bits and pieces of the protagonist's early life. A few things I need to mention: He doesn't have knowledge of this world, his worldview however is drastically different from the people of this world, and thus, his path in the force will be extremely different when compared to that of the other people. To begin with, I can already tell you that he won't be a slave of the Jedi or the Sith, eventually, he will walk on his own but until then, please bear with me, he will also learn from both of them... Anyway, you will see how this will work as the story progress.

A talented force-sensitive boy

Bultar Swan could only sigh as she walked through the undercity of Coruscant, it was an unusual day for her, after her master died she was sent back to Coruscant and was ordered to wait for some time while the council decided who would become her new master. Because of her free time, master Yoda told her to patrol the old districts of this giant city.

But she knew the truth, her master's death... wasn't something she was expecting, and ever since then she had been feeling awful and sad, the reason he sent her here was simply that she needed to vent out some of her frustrations.

The thing is, even during what was meant to be a relaxing walking, trouble still found some way to reach her, fifty meters ahead, many people were crying and running away as blaster shots sounded during what seemed to be a confrontation between two gangs.

She ran with her lightsaber in hand, always avoiding the droids, debris, and the people in her path with dexterity, her steps were calm and flowed as if she was dancing in the middle of the chaos, the crowded street was not a problem for her.

There she found a vision that felt extremely unlikely, a single boy was being attacked by a group of criminals equipped with blaster pistols, the fact that he had managed to stay alive wasn't the only thing that made her feel impressed, the thing is, even while crying and protecting the dead body of a woman, she could feel the boy was still calm and steady like a lake, the swirl of emotions did not affect how he reacted during this stressful situation that could be the line between life and death.

Not only that, but the objects he used to attack them were things she had never seen before, on top of the boy's hands, there were a pair of blasters that seemed to be handmade, there were no power cells or blaster gas, it was almost as if it was powered by nothing!

And even more surprising was how he reacted to each of the thugs' movements, whenever they advanced or retreat he positioned himself perfectly behind cover in a way that gave him a free way to attack and protect himself, in fact, while it looked he was the one on the losing side, she could feel the fear in the criminal minds, and it was only then that she noticed the few people that had died besides then, with perfect holes on their heads, clear shots aimed so precisely that killed them in an extremely efficient manner.

Seeing how this was going, she ignited her lightsaber and entered the fight, when the criminals noticed her, one of them turned his back to the boy and prepared to attack her with his pistol.

She managed the deflect the first shot, but before she could disarm him, a bolt of green light was shot by the boy and pierced the man's head making him fall soon after. She couldn't believe his reaction speed! From the moment she appeared, attracted the man's attention and deflected one of his shots, only 3 seconds had passed and that was enough for the boy to take action!

Seeing that there was only one gangster remaining, she knew that if she didn't stop that right now, the boy who she felt was innocent would probably be accused of murder! The force flowed through her and guided her towards the two of them. Her lightsaber rapidly and precisely deflected every single one of their shots, and only when she noticed an opportunity, she force-pushed them towards the ground, effectively immobilizing them.

But before she could take another action the boy who was pinned to the ground shouted, startling her.

"LET ME GO! THOSE BASTARDS KILLED MY MOTHER, I'LL KILL ALL OF THEM!"

Hearing this she gasped. If what he was saying was the truth then... she looked at the woman behind him, she seemed to be only 22 years old, a young woman still in the prime of her life, and her son...

The tears streaming down the boy's face made her frown, somehow she felt responsible, not long ago her master died, and she couldn't do anything, and now a similar situation has happened in front of her, a boy who he couldn't protect his mother, and that now seeks revenge...

She sighed and lowered her lightsaber. She used her Holocomm to tell the Jedi temple of what happened and ask for The Coruscant Security Force to come and arrest the man.

What surprised her though was that when the boy saw her warning the Jedi and the security forces, he whispered something, and both of the weapons on his hand literally disintegrated and became nothing more than powder that was dragged away by the winds.

It didn't take long for them to arrive, the gangster was taken away, and his mother was taken away as well after they took photos of everything, that whole place though would be investigated for sometime before the people could walk around there again.

The person who came from the Jedi temple was surprisingly master Yoda.

"Master Yoda? What are you doing here?" She asked, surprised. It was not very often that he acted in situations like that.

"Hm... a disturbance in the force I felt, perhaps, related to this boy, it might be."

Bultar raised her eyebrow in surprise, while she indeed felt he was different, perhaps even special, she didn't manage to identify anything else when it came to the force, could it be that she was so focused on the situation, that she actually missed something?

Yoda stopped in front of the boy who was seating with his back facing a wall, the boy had raven short hair, slightly grey eyes, and a healthy body, his general health was much better compared to the vast majority of the kids who lived in the undercity of Coruscant, something quite unexpected.

And unlike Bultar, Yoda wasn't so easily tricked by the boy when it came to his emotions, while she could only feel the swirl of emotions inside his head, he could tell how complex and powerful were the feelings inside him, and while the boy itself wasn't extremely gifted in the force, he was definitely out of the ordinary considering his affinity with it, be it the dark or the light side, each one seemed to engulf and fight over dominance when it came to him.

This was the first time he saw something like this and considering how fate seemed to be playing pranks on them considering Skywalker's recent addition as Obi-Wan's padawan, and some of their Knights dying in avoidable situations. In light of recent events, if you asked master Yoda whether or not the Jedi were doomed, he actually wouldn't be able to answer, because everything in front of him seemed to be covered by darkness... And this child was another mystery in the midst of the chaos.

Frowning he poked the boy with his Gimer stick who turned to look at him with a serious and cold face covered by his tears. The boy sneered seeing the green elf-like alien in front of him.

"Oh, a Jedi, the famous guardians of the peace and justice huh..."

Hearing his words, Yoda shook his head and sighed, for as much as he or any other might have wanted to help, their numbers and teachings wouldn't allow them too, but that didn't stop them from sending one or another Padawan down there from time to time to patrol a little.

What he failed to notice though, was that the Jedi practically never went on the lower levels, they are always next to the surface, where the rich and powerful dwelled, and consequently never truly helped the people in need.

It was just a coincidence that Bultar actually went down a few more levels than others usually did.

"To serve the light, a Jedi does what he cans, however, not every corner of the galaxy, we can be," Yoda spoke with a heavy tone. "Gifted in the force you are, a kind of talent in a long time I haven't seen, hope for you, there is. Of your sorrow, let go you must. For your mother, rejoice you should, for she is now one with the force."

The boy looked at him, for a moment, despite barely understanding his words, he somehow felt grateful that there was somewhere there to comfort him... But still, he couldn't just let go, for the first time he had a mother, and that happiness last just so long, four years are nothing, he still wanted to do something for her, he would grow and become someone successful in this world to make her proud, he would have brought her out of the lower levels, show her a fulfilling and happy life...

But now... all of those plans were lost! All because of the Black Sun! It was only a thousand credits, but they still killed her for so little!

His body trembled as tears fell even more from the corner of his eyes, he could only clench his fists and shrink. "Mother... why... I wanted to give you so much... Why..."

Hearing his words, Yoda sighed and patted his shoulder before leaving the boy alone.

"Bultar, if a Jedi, he decides to be, bring him to the temple, if not, then... let him be." He spoke to her, loud enough so that the boy could hear him.

The young padawan nodded her head as she turned to look at the boy.

They stayed there for quite some time, she had sat down beside him and covered him with a cloak to protect him from the freezing winds. She felt like he wouldn't accept, but at some point, the tears stopped falling from his eyes, his overall mood improved although the results of this clearly left a scar on his mind one that would take a lot of time to heal.

"You want me to become one of you, don't you?"

"Hm... But you don't have to force yourself to do it..." She tried to comfort him to the best of her abilities, but somehow she knew that it didn't have any effect, even so, the boy wasn't as cold as before, he actually showed her a sweet smile.

"Thank you sister, but... I've decided. I'll become a Jedi, and I'll make sure that things like that never happen when I'm around." He stood up and looked upward with a frown on his face.

Even if he didn't say with all words, he was determined to get rid of those criminal scums!

"Sigh... What's your name, little friend?"

Hearing her words, he thought of his mother for a moment and of his origins, but after some consideration, he decided to tell anyway, how this would affect his future he didn't know, but he would still make sure to do his best to become stronger, now that he knew he was a force-sensitive, he wasn't afraid, perhaps, he could still bring honor to his house.

"Tanden... Tanden Vizla."

Hearing his words, she opened her eyes wide, and suddenly stood up, they looked at each other for a moment, and when she managed to composed herself, there was only one question she could ask.

"Does that means..."

"Yes, I'm a Mandalorian."
